850 miles on my Turbo R 4 Ultimate, all I can say is WOW. Well built, fast, comfortable, very stable at all speeds, and a blast to drive. This unit is my 5th SXS and I can honestly say for the first time it is a keeper!
Ya I’m wording it more how Polaris has advertised. Keeping it simple but after owning both the pro r has 3 settings and it’s noticeably better is just my point
Love my pro r 2 seat ultimate. Fits my trailers and no issues so far. First ride was 130 miles and burned 9.4 gallons taking it easy but had 20 miles of sandy 4x4 full send! Was 6500 to around 9500 elevation change.
My bad 111miles on that trip but we figured it over 12mpg. Ill keep you informed on fuel consumption. Ill be doing alot of long distance trips so ill have to go easy on skinny pedal those days haha.
@@bdogg5086 I haven’t for a couple reasons but plan on soon but I’m keeping it stock as possible till there is an abundance of parts out there. I want to keep it reliable as possible
The Turbo has a locked front diff too it’s always locked. The difference is the selectable open or locked and the 4WD is 1:1 front and rear for Pro R. Turbo is the on demand AWD which means the rear has a few percent overdrive compared to front.
@@montanamountainutv Yea my friends Pro R had an issue while we were out recently where the front differential didn’t lock. It eventually locked but not on my first attempt over some rocks. Seems like it may be some issue with the protection of engagement which is speed limited. Says under 10 mph and foot off accelerator in the manual. I met these conditions but it still had issue. At least the on demand AWD doesn’t have to prove itself. Admittedly the open diff was nice for traction and steering while going faster down trails.
@@danielstanfield7772 yeah it's simple things like this that keep me from buying a first year model. 2005 Polaris Rmk 900 sled was a big mistake I made back then. I figure the turbo r is a solid unit being pretty much a pro xp with long travel kit on steroids. I loved my pro, 4k miles no problems.

Nice both of these sxs are amazing
I've ordered a Pro R Ultimate 2 seat and my brother ordered a Turbo R 4 seat Ultimate should be here in June sometime can't wait
Awesome you’ll have a great time in both of them
How are both machines doing and which do you like?
@faultless18 the machines are doing great and i like them both really good machine for sure
@@KnownSender1 Do you prefer one more than the other? I’m deciding if I should go with the Pro R or Turbo R
@faultless18 if you are going to get a two seater get proR but if you are getting a 4 seater then get a turbo R
The Turbo R ultimate comes with ev dynamix shocks. I wouldn't buy one without. Game changer over the Walker evans.
The turbo r has a locking diff. It is like the turbo s. It just have a diff lock button. It is operated by the sprag gear in the diff

Clutch engages loudly i see what people mean by the noise but not near as annoying as the Styrofoam squeaks some sxs have.
That is good to know. Thank you!

Thank you! Nobody really talks about it and it is interesting.
@@dr.weirdbeard2840 yay you eventually tune it out lol
I would like to know about fuel consumption between the same model Pro R VS Turbo R. Does the Pro R use a considerable amount of more fuel?
Turbo r will be closer to the pro xp it’s just a little bit heavier so it’ll eat a little more
Pro r on the other hand guzzles gas bad
Thank you!
@@trogue33k you’re welcome
Good info, I would take either one
👍🏻
Thanks a lot for such a great video 🎉✅.

I ordered the pro r 2 seat in stealth black
Nice I ordered that color first but they sold me into the launch edition
@@desertsxs maby if I did the launch edition I would have mine by now
@@arnw7933 ya that’s why I did it they said I would be one of the first ones at there shop to get one. I’m impatient so I said okay lol
Picking up tommorrow. Pro r4 or turbo r4 ultimate. 8g difference worth it? What you think
my choice pro r for sure

I would take the Turbo R 2 seat with some good mods way better deal than the unproven new engine.
The unproven part is concerning for sure
what one did you or would you buy?
Pro R all day son
Turbo R 2 seat Premium. Best color scheme for sure, blue and grey with lime accents
@@montanamountainutv I do like that one a lot

Yep just like pro xp. Works good. I saw zack from Dirt dudes having major issues with his front diff on the Pro R.

Sell that can am and your almost there haha
And they still have snowmobile drive belt.. lol
Pro R in 2 seat and Turbo R for 4 seat. Pro R 4 seat is too long.
I’m with you on that
