AHP is a good basic welder and not too pricey. Everyone say it is all about practicing. One of these days I might take a TIG class at my local college. DO IT!!
Im looking at the alphamig welder, but I do not see many user reviews of the current models. I was looking at primeweld, hobart. How did you decide to choose alpha mig over other brands? It is strange that a company does not put out a video talking about their machine. Most of the videos I see are the alpha tifwelders, seems users are happy with it.
Agree. I chose the AlphaTig just because of price and the reviews I saw on TH-cam by some great welders. For me it was between AlphaTig and Everlast and the price just won out.
@@BlitzMolinFabAHP and Everlast are sister companies. In fact you can see how much your 203 looks like a 5 year old Everlast 210Ext. That being said, the Everlast tig units are pricier and have more complexity in dialing them in. AHP is a great choice.
I didn't know that. Very cool! I have heard awesome things about Everlast and I almost bought it. AHP was a little cheaper and I figured I can't Tig weld for crap anyway so why not save a little money. Thanks for the info!@@peters5333
Some...My biggest problem is that I don't weld enough. Some say set your amps so full pedal is full amps then for the most part that;s where you'll stay. But it just takes practice. I tend to just go straight to my MIG because it's more comfortable. I need to start grabbing the TIG torch more!!@@rongamble9884
I'm wanting to start tig welding myself on body panels

Would that be a good machine for welding body panels?
Yep. You can turn it down really low.
@@BlitzMolinFab have you used the foot pedal much that would take me some getting used to
