    Cool frame, crazy looking. But damn, holy over-engineering batman!

      Yeah it's a bit more complicated since it has to fulfill two very different goals concurrently. It's quite a challenge to create a frame with zero vibes entering the camera in order to play nice with Sony RX0II AND have the ability to carry cinema cameras like the RED Komodo, all while maintaining a compact miniquad form factor. No normal frame out there is capable of such a task from what I've seen.

    Any chance you could upload a PDF with the Assembly instructions on the product page. It would make building much faster than having to pause a 30min video every 30 sec. Also It would help if you separated the fasteners by size instead of dumping them all into a bag.

    Hi Sam, nice frame and just what I need. When will you have these frames back in stock?

    Can you tell us more about RX0 II accessories?

    • @strawhatsam
      @strawhatsam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have a new kit coming out that is a c mount lens adapter for the RX0II camera. This paired with the right lenses improves low light, increases FOV, and maintains sharpness in the corners.

      @@strawhatsam I am looking forward to purchasing it. However, in Thailand, the only available option is a 0.43x wide-angle lens. 😄

    Are there screws for the motors?

    • @strawhatsam
      @strawhatsam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I include 16 stainless steel 10mm M3 button head screws with each kit for the motors.

    How does frame handle the Original Air Unit?

    • @strawhatsam
      @strawhatsam  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does fit! The caveat is that it is hard to squeeze the side shrouds in there with the extra width. The air unit can be double-sided-mounting-taped and zip tied to the bottom of the frame inside instead of mounted to the flight stack.

      Ok great, I started the build yesterday and will let you know if I struggle with the AU! Can’t wait to get it up in the air

      Hey Sam, do you have a suggested rate profile for the build at all?

    Wow...$169.00 dollars. Arms 15 bucks each if you break one. No, plenty of better and cheaper alternatives.

      Check out my overview video which explains the use-cases for this drone. That may better explain why this is a special frame: th-cam.com/video/qlVnyNJ1htE/w-d-xo.html
      In summary it accomplishes two very conflicting goals at the same time, without compromising form factor, flight performance, or video quality. It's pretty much an all-in one cinema drone that actually works, so it costs more to develop and manufacture. It is a frame meant for professional FPV pilots that require the highest performance out of their drone AND camera.
