Sounds like there's real abuse/fun potential with SotC. Could find some OP interactions with weapons like Hand of Edward the Odd, Ironfoe, Bonereaver's, Untamed Blade etc. If the mana returns from blocking are high enough you could perhaps become a self healing dungeon tank with HoEtO. Strange that they did Holy dirty like that when it sounds like they had a good thing going with longer lasting judgements. From what I can tell, aside from the Holy Shock buff, Holy hasn't received much at all compared to the other two specs. But to be fair, it was OP from the getgo. From what I've heard, Turtle has perhaps too many palas already? Understandable since it sounds like they've gotten the most love. I'd be curious to know how priest and warrior have changed. Also, thanks for the excellent video!

I can confirm you that all those high end proc weapons have had reduced proc chances. I bought my hand of Edward just a week after the change and was quite sad to find out it's completely not worth it to spam Jotc for the proc. Still a great aoe farming weapon though. Other big stun items are also definitely reduced in chance ( though untamed blade can keep full uptime) And yes there is quite an abundance of paladins, which is great but it also means there is less space for them in raids
well, they'll probably be shorter, but i had to cut away 20 mins more from the paladin video, (leaving that for another video, mostly stuff about gear, scaling, new rotations and pvp) so the other videos wont be that much shorter :b but i'll try my best
its supposed to be like a warriors sunder armor. It was what the paladin had in vanilla beta :) In beta back in 2004 paladin had holy strike and crusader stike, which got replaced with the seal system right before lunch
For all the people who watch this video and decide to roll a paladin. I'd advise against it if you want to play Ret at Max Level. Paladin is easily the most populated spec on the server right now, and they are absurdly broken in PvP. They are what Death Knights are in early wotlk right now. A nerf is almost assuredly coming. Also gearing will take literally ages because of the competition. If you just want to level or try the hardcore challenge then go for it, but if you want to seriously raid and get a rotation spot within a guild, it's going to take awhile. Just my two cents and something to consider.
Seems to me that they buffed paladins way too much! They've always been a popular class, and amongst the best at surviving. But now they can dps, aoe farm, great sustain, healing and survivability. And a free mount on top of that! Are all other classes also supposed to be able to heal and have as great survivabilty? Are warriors now obsolete?
Maybe :\ i'm not 60 and fully geared, so i cant really compare yet. BUT i know that turtle wow takes great care as to what and how the implement stuff. i think they would try to balance things somewhat in pvp. and not just pve.
@@shjelde660 Not necessarily at lvl 60. How about comparing paladin to a warrior at lvl 30 or 40, say when it comes to questing or pvp - who'd come on top? How about paladin vs a rogue? How's the balance there?
@@RatimirRS it that case, i can easily speak on that cause i've done it all. Paladin is only slightly stronger in pvp, mainly cause of holy strike. you dont really use crusader strike in pvp. Maybe in duels, but not in bgs. As prot they are much better for grinding, and tanking in dungeons. On par, if not a bit better than warriors. Paladin is still very weak against casters
As a 60 Warr on twow I can say..paladins in pvp are fking busted , they need a nerf 1000% . I hope with the rise of population some pvpers will speak up and hopefully, changes happen

and u can imagine HoEtO with illumination and divine favor + SS you could absolutely sustain yourself against small packs
I can confirm you that all those high end proc weapons have had reduced proc chances. I bought my hand of Edward just a week after the change and was quite sad to find out it's completely not worth it to spam Jotc for the proc. Still a great aoe farming weapon though. Other big stun items are also definitely reduced in chance ( though untamed blade can keep full uptime)
And yes there is quite an abundance of paladins, which is great but it also means there is less space for them in raids
Op
10:06 "where you fight against Germans" 😂😂😂
i did say Shamans* didnt i ? 😂 But also Germans ofc!
Maaaan frost oil on wpn with seal of crusader...
Yep i thought about that aswell, fixes the only weakness that paladin has, in that they cant slow any target, now they have a 70% slow on a 8 sec cd!
Do you have an addon list?
Yes.. and its very long xD
@@shjelde660 haha im mainly interested in your actionbars and your floating combat text
@@Aiden-ri4ky that would be "miks scrolling combat text" and "dominos"
@@shjelde660 thanks man
which ui are u using?
My own :)
Do druid please
Oh your addons look awesome, can you share them to me😙
druid next pLease🙏🙏🙏
interesting idea but outside of paladin these videos are gonna be real short
well, they'll probably be shorter, but i had to cut away 20 mins more from the paladin video, (leaving that for another video, mostly stuff about gear, scaling, new rotations and pvp) so the other videos wont be that much shorter :b but i'll try my best
What about mana though? Ret goes oom in like a minute
No longer, since SoW + SoR = Procs
can you be a pally on the horde side?
noppe
crusader strike is way too spammy and feels wrong. Other than that I like their ideas
its supposed to be like a warriors sunder armor. It was what the paladin had in vanilla beta :) In beta back in 2004 paladin had holy strike and crusader stike, which got replaced with the seal system right before lunch
Omg paladins rock in twow
Hej Niklas
Hej Esther, håber dig og Samuel har det godt :)
Well said.
I really don't like the new placement of those talents.
how so?
@@RatimirRS against rogue and warrior, not much has changed.
If gear matched, paladin still shits on those ez.
@@shjelde660 Then I wonder if that much buffing was needed 🙂
they're broken in pvp, that's what's changed, get ready to be dumpstered by the gm's accounts cause their ego is little to none.
As a 60 Warr on twow I can say..paladins in pvp are fking busted , they need a nerf 1000% . I hope with the rise of population some pvpers will speak up and hopefully, changes happen
I have tried it, did not like it, they did something weird
Warrior detected
What did they do weird?
Wtf is Turtle WoW?
nobody knows, but everyone talks about it
Who would think that a private server would make a better wow then blizzard?!?!!!!!?!
Yes. Who would! 🤣
