"3 weeks before MC is great for people who want to casually level without feeling behind" After 3 week of casual levelling : -awyeah im finally level 30 !
Eh… you can hit 60 pretty quick in a dungeon spam group. If you are a person who wants to raid aggressively you are already playing that much lol Casual players have time because there no real reason to start raiding immediately, you want to be like in some gear by the time tier 2 shows up but that’s months in.

@@tainicon4639 if its using the same environment as there is in classic 2019, then no you can't. You're locked out after 1 run on a dungeon for 24 hours.
3 weeks to 60 is not casually levelling in classic... get that through your heads, you content creators. Us normal folk dont have 10 hours a day to play
I got 2-3 hours / day myself and expect to be level 50 after 3 weeks. That's way better than being level 20-30 when the first guilds steps into phase 1 raiding, so I'm glad they did gate raids for 3 weeks as it I'll probably step into my first raid a few weeks later.
@@hado33_ 5-6 hours... a DAY... is not casual. hell 2-3 hours a day isnt either. 5-6 hours a week maybe but not per day. delusional, even more delusional than Blizzard is.
it's te definition of half-measure. their thought process is along the lines of "some people don't want this, and some people do so let's just make neither side happy while claiming to look out for both"
As a truly casual player back in the day, I only leveled when I had Rested XP bonus on a character. I played multiple characters and had probably 9 of them to level ~30-40 by the time my main made it to 60. It was so long ago, but I am going to guess it took me 6 to 12 months. It was a PvP realm, so you can guess why most my characters stayed at ~30-40. I played a lot of 1-30.
3 weeks is an insane leveling pace. The fastest players get to 60 in 3-4 days /played, and people slightly above average get there in 5-6, but most casuals will take around 7, even 8 days /played to get to 60. If you play 3 hours a day, the fastest levelers get there in 24 days, and casuals will take more than 2 months.
Right, if you're being pretty optimal, following a guide, etc., and it takes you 4 days /played, that's 96 hours. So you need to play about 4.5 hours a day, every single day, to hit 60 in time for raid. Not to mention you ideally want more time beyond that to farm pre-raid BiS.
Took me a month and a half to two months, I think. I probably got at least 2+ hours a day in, more on days off, and most of that was only possible because my wife stays at home. Either way, I can't imagine just how singularly focused some people can be about leveling, like it's the only thing that matters. I'll never understand that mentality with some games where blitzing through the content and skipping the entire game just to get to end game. To each their own, but I like questing, doing dungeons for fun, leveling my professions, and kind of taking in the scenery. I love how after all these years I still find some degree of wonder in the game. But eh, that's just how I tend to play games, maybe it comes with age and being there for every new leap in technology and the impression it left me with just kind of soaking it all in. But I do mean it, to each their own. In a way I'm envious of people that consider 5-6 hours a day casual. I remember the long, long ago in the before times before kids and I'd play after work to when I went to bed. Those were good times. I think the only thing that bothers me is not appreciating that a lot of us played this game when it came out and now have to be adults that do adult things and don't have as much time to spend for hours on end. I get a lot of their points, though, that MMOs aren't the best for people on limited time, but some people act as if participating in keeping society going or playing a game all day is some flippant choice like that's a valid predicament to consider. I think a lot of us dad gamers are just asking for a little grace in simply pointing out that 3 weeks is kinda crazy for a large portion of the people interested in playing. Tl;dr Not asking for the game to cater to us olds, but c'mon, 5-6 hours a day is a lot for most adults with lives.
yeah I think dual spec is the obvious big thing they need to add for vanilla/tbc. It's not really hurting anything gameplay-wise, it's just saving everyone the pain in the ass of going to the city, spending 50g, getting summoned back, etc.
One mistake. At 1:54 you mention that if you die on the hardcore realm you can transfer to the PvP or PvE realm. It was confirmed that you can only transfer to the PvE realm; the PvP realm can not be transferred to from the hardcore realms.
I know people will say no and that's fine, but I wouldn't mind dual spec if we could have just one thing. Anyway, looking forward to this, gonna be sweet.
Black lotus will also be the SoD version, found in high level herb notes randomly instead of the insanely competitive 1 spawn per map on a long cooldown.
the HC transfer is only to the pve realms, not the pvp ones and something you did not mention is the greatly reduced batch window will be at the start instead of the 0.4 second batched we had for most of classic vanilla

Noooo I don’t want this removed. The content is already trivial. This just makes it more so. And don’t say “but some classes aren’t viable because of this”. This is a player problem, with everyone being meta slaves. And removing the debuff limit doesn’t fix this. Nobody is taking a boomy just because they can use moonfire. Nobody is taking a 2nd lock over a warrior just because they can use corruption/coa. All this change does is make easy content even easier, and more importantly, removes an extra level of player coordination and cooperation that make vanilla feel like vanilla.
The 3 weeks is not for people for feel like leveling casually, its for people who feel like no lifing it but can't handle not being first. Those of us who level casually couldn't give two hoots when MC releases, its utterly irrelevant.
ok so im still lost, what should i start on right now? assuming i want to keep a classic character forever? era? or season of discovery will those be permanent? Thanks
Dual spec would be nice, along with a group finder function. Not a random dungeon queue, but the simple interface where people can create groups and people can apply. I'm so sick of the outdated "go spam chat and use some addon to filter chat" crap, especially when you have to travel 15 minutes just to get to the dungeon.
Amazing to see comments here complaining about leveling is slow it's like I'm back in time when it first came out. I do see the main draw of WoW Classic is slower leveling so your effort feels more earned but I haven't been playing since Burning Crusade as I didn't want to socialize so I got quickly bored as it felt like a slog going through it alone,it's very important to want to socialize if you gonna play an MMO maybe one day I will want too.
haha, good point. Assuming the transfer is fairly fast, you're dodging the crowds bigtime w this strat. (although it may not be as good as it seems if they go super layer-heavy, in which case you'd have roughly the same competition for mobs on either server, assuming the layer sizes are the same)
The issue is that they want to balance PvP realms to 50/50 like on SOD, so if you rolled horde on the HC server and then want to transfer to a PvP realm, you'll probably be unable to due to faction wide queues. But for PvE yes, it would work!
I just want a server made for people that want to enjoy the game / world pvp / community.. this is NOT A RACE ! This game was never meant to be rushed through gameplay ! These streamers/ content creating no job spergs are ruining this game 😂
Why spread misinformation on the length of Vanilla? They will release Naxx late autumn / early winter 25 according to the schedule which puts TBC EARLIEST at march 2026. thats a minimum of 16 months
Why would they say Winter, then release it March-June? They already said it was going to be sped up compared to 2019. The main reason for doing classic again, is because of the demand for TBC. I guess y’all can hope and pray you get more time in Naxx tho lol.
@@bigbigzubraBecause TBC is likely coming in Spring 2026. Would be no reason to include the Spring portion if it was just coming out in Winter. That's also still about 10-12 months quicker than 2019 classic
Video games aren't made for 'normal' adults with 'normal' lives. If you can't get to 60 in three weeks and are worried about missing out, then maybe it's time to accept that WoW isn't for you anymore. And if you complain, and whine, and say "No no no!" then you'll be upset for a long time, until you accept reality.
I’m confused. Why would Classic (“Era”) players want to start over on a “fresh” Classic release and leave behind all of their advanced characters, gold, and hard-won loot? What is the attraction? (And on a related note, Blizzard could have easily removed the one-hour mail delay and add dual-spec in the current Classic game if those things are really a big deal to people. 🤷🏻) What was the need for a “Classic refresh” release?
@@DERG0sepeople keep saying this and it couldn’t be more false. All removing the dot cap does is removes another level of player coordination and cooperation that make it feel like vanilla. People are meta slaves. Nobody is taking a 2nd lock over a warriors because they can coa or corruption. Nobody is taking a boomy over a rogue because they can moonfire. Nobody is taking a 3rd hunter past phase 2 because they can serpent sting. Be realistic. This isn’t a gameplay issue, it’s a player issue. That extra 10 dps isn’t making anyone bring you that wouldn’t have already been bringing you. But what it does do is remove a level of coordination, and trivialize boss hp even more, which in turn make already east content even more mind numbing. And just to clarify, this is coming from someone who mained the obligatory guild hunter and wasn’t allowed to serpent sting, so I’m not biased towards the meta slave. However, what HAVING a debuff cap DID do, was push me into creative thinking as a hunter, using creative consumables, and even swinging nightfall, and running a melee spellpower build to crank more dps past p1
Dual Specc would be awesome for most of the People. Also make Speccs like Elemental Shaman more viable, give Enhancment Shaman 2x 1h Weapons. That would be a huge Adjustment just for this Class in General making them not completly useless. Boomkin Balance Tree also needs slight Adjustments.
wait three weeks, end up with the same problem because it will take the average player a bit longer to even hit 60 let alone have a proper starter set to even walk into the instance to do anything.
Agreed. 3 weeks is really only enough time for the top few % of time-spenders to be 60 and ready for MC. The vast majority of people will not be 60 in 3 weeks. 4 to 6 weeks would have made more sense if they wanted to actually do something for the casuals here.
I missed the last launch because I didn’t realize just about any laptop made in the last 10 years can play classic just fine on low graphics settings, going to be fun to speed run my teenage years of gaming. TM/south shore battles were the best.
So in order to enjoy the game you need to force everyone else to play it at the same snails pace you do? This is the kind of horseshit that's occurred on retail over and over again.
I dont understand why people think they have to get to raiding in the first reset or they miss out big time. Thats just not true. Eversince i took a more relaxed approach to wow i have enjoyed it way more. IA used to rush.
this might sound like small fries, but the ability to interact with mail boxes and ppl while in shapeshift form would be really nice. i dont think it would hurt any balance, but would be a nice qol hot stacking/limits removed would be swell too. and i would love dual spec for sure!
It doesn't go against classic at all! Dual Spec launched in March 2008, over 16 years ago, during TBC. This is the classic era. Perhaps you meant to say vanilla?
I see a lot here saying 3 weeks is casual to level, but who here just doesn’t see what the enjoyment is in doing 60 levels again, I didn’t mind the first time they released classic but for the love of god just give high exp rates. The levelling experience sucks
Being able to transfer HC chars when they die is not cool at all. Giving the option to swap realm before you die is OK, but not after. It is not hardcore if you dont truly die.
dual spec is one step away from unique and special. id prefer being spec’d into heal or damage or aoe or tank because hey you’re the special one you can tank, you can heal, etc. multi spec is the first step toward classes not being unique or special either, nip it at the very beginning
Can someone tell me if im understanding this wow classic thing correctly, so its going to start with vanilla and then over the course of time tackle the next expansion after the next therefore being to able to re experience the content as it came out? Ive been really wanting to experience this so can someone please tell me if this is true? Will this eventually go to WOTLK? I started playing wow when wotlk came out so i never got to experience the older content and i was never able to kill the lich king so please tell me im understanding this correctly because this would be really exciting
As an healer, the absence of dual spec is just a pain. Want to play shaman elem but It is useless in PVE because vanilla was not a balanced game. Consequently, I need to play shaman heal in raid to be usefull. I am ok with that but appart from raid , I want to be an elem shaman for the rest of the content (pvp, solo farming etc.). For me dual spec is a great way to improve the gaming experience without distorting the classic experience at all. I am against rebalancing classes in classic but I am totally for dual spec !
Noob question, but is there enought quests in classic to get you to 60? Like retail gets you to max level with the story quests alone. Or will you run out and have to spam shit?
no, it never happened to me and I lvled up many characters. Nevertheless, keep in mind that quests are NOT main source of exp. Its actually killing the mobs while doing the quests. Also once you hit lvl 50+, you mainly wanna spam dungeons cause u get end game gear which you can use as prebis..
swapping talents for gold was the main disadvantage in classic wow, also I would like something like group finder, because trying to find a group in chat is a pain in the a**
Duel spec would be based. Your spec for group pve content then the other for what ever you want. Would make things so much more fun and way less of a headache.
If you die in Hardcore they said you go to a normal realm. Im still waiting to clarify if they mean fresh normal or just a normal classic server. if it isnt fresh normal then that bites hard.
1:45 WAIT ARE YOU SURE?! I've been asking this ever since the announcements. I haven't gotten any reply, well that I know of at least, I'm not the greatest at checking back for replies and stuff. Anyways, I'd started assuming it wouldn't be possible, after first being hopeful it would be possible. It just seemed to me like it would've been mentioned if it were possible. This was the biggest reason most people I know didn't star playing HC when it was first released. They didn't want to play HC just to die and lose a high level character. And because there was no new realm everyone would transfer to it seemed like the normal vanilla servers would be dead. If you'll be able to transfer to the fresh PvE/PvP that's huge. So many people will be playing HC, I don't see any reason not to, except maybe that the PvE/PvP will be much less crowded at the start, before most people have died on their first character.
They are gonna have some type of interaction with this realm character and retail with The next part of the saga . Then Wrath for the third part . Both of the new sagas on retail “return” to the area that’s part of BC then WOTLK for Classic. Calling it now

@ how did it ruin wow? By making it easier for players to play two different roles?
Hi when will vanilla be released? I thought it was November 21st, today I go in and there are empty vanilla servers, what's going on?
2:06 they only said you can transfer to the Normal realm, not the PVP one
Same "facts" as 3 weeks to 60 being casual gaming 😂🤣
The classic guild UI option does not exist under the interface menu in live!!
I do not think dual spec should be added BUT the respec cost should be drastically reduced like it was on the SoD servers, maybe like 5g cost max
Thinking the same. or that u have to go to a trainer to change to ur second spec
I'm fine with either of these changes. Dual spec or reduced respec costs both sound like good options to me.
I was thinking 10-50 silver.
Dual spec should be a no-brainer addition. I'm tired of being punished for being a healer.
Will the bossed beeing adjusted too for the debuff removal ?
aight pro tip: HC realm is gonna have about 80% less players so just start there, get set, die and xfer.
haha, good point. Assuming the transfer is fairly fast, you're dodging the crowds bigtime w this strat. (although it may not be as good as it seems if they go super layer-heavy, in which case you'd have roughly the same competition for mobs on either server, assuming the layer sizes are the same)
Not if you wana be on the pvp realm
@@EB-bl6cc bet they will layer cause its one per server type
The issue is that they want to balance PvP realms to 50/50 like on SOD, so if you rolled horde on the HC server and then want to transfer to a PvP realm, you'll probably be unable to due to faction wide queues. But for PvE yes, it would work!
@@plackiplicki3531 i think it will work. esp around launch month
I just want a server made for people that want to enjoy the game / world pvp / community.. this is NOT A RACE ! This game was never meant to be rushed through gameplay ! These streamers/ content creating no job spergs are ruining this game 😂
come play Era then once fresh is released 😅 all the tryhards will move to fresh and enjoyers stay on era..
Facts ngl wish they had streamer only servers cuz they literally just get carried tov60
The one year server life is just ridiculous. They want to move on so badly! Just let us keep this server!!
World pvp is the funniest thing on this game fr
buff/debuff limits, instant same account mail. Dual talent spec's only if you can change them at a trainer, not just on a whim in open world.
Remove the debuff cap so I can invite shadow priests as DPS to raids.
I really like MoveAny as well, it is great to be able to move your UI around.
Why spread misinformation on the length of Vanilla? They will release Naxx late autumn / early winter 25 according to the schedule which puts TBC EARLIEST at march 2026. thats a minimum of 16 months
I've been saying this on so many videos and reddit posts.. clearly nobody knows the dates when it comes to seasons..
@@yama4ever it comes deom the leaked sheet. There is tbc in winter 2025
@@jaxen231 It does not, it literally says Winter / Spring. Winter starts around christmas and spring end in june. That means 13 - 18 months.
Will i be able to create horde and alliance characters on the same realm?
3 weeks to 60 is literally speedrunning with guides playing 12 hours a day, casual lol how can someone be this out of touch and delusional
@@K.S-w5s by the time Molten Core comes out 90% of the playerbase wont even be 60 yet

YES YES give us duel spec the only thing we want
I’d like dual spec as well as duel spec.
No. Stop ruining classic
@@mikeoxlong3676 era is still there.
🤷🏻) What was the need for a “Classic refresh” release?
wanna see removed dot cap
100% is confirmed that its removed
@@DaBestQuartzung Where? please provide a link
@@DaBestQuartzung it's only 100% confirmed for the hardcore realms
@@山乇丂乇-g5m im sad. It would bring so many specs. And not only warriors and rogues
That hardcoe transfer option is awesome
The 2019 experience was get into que 7 in the morning come home from work make and eat dinner. And then play XD
WOTLK Classic was like this for me.
queue*
4 to 6 weeks would have made more sense if they wanted to actually do something for the casuals here.
and then they will scream for another fresh...
Is it gonna be $40 for intant 60 like tbc classic? Layering sucked so did all the bots
Season of Swiping, get those credit cards ready boys.
I missed the last launch because I didn’t realize just about any laptop made in the last 10 years can play classic just fine on low graphics settings, going to be fun to speed run my teenage years of gaming. TM/south shore battles were the best.
so is it going to be implemented into the same game? just different realms? or should we wait and download a new game?
so if you die on hc server can you tranfer to pvp and pve realm or only pve?
Seems like it’s only the pve
Retail gets content. Classic gets hit with the recycle bin. Been there, done that. And casually leveling is not 3 weeks more like 2 months.
Go play retail then dork.
So in order to enjoy the game you need to force everyone else to play it at the same snails pace you do?
This is the kind of horseshit that's occurred on retail over and over again.
@@DefianceOrDeath Well Classic is about the journey, and I don't play retail.

it looks fine just how it is
cant wait to level my warrior to 60 the 20. times, it will be so much fun..
Dual talent specialization goes against WoW classics way. I am 100% against Dual talents in WoW,.
Do you care to elaborate, CH-gt4wi?
It doesn't go against classic at all! Dual Spec launched in March 2008, over 16 years ago, during TBC. This is the classic era. Perhaps you meant to say vanilla?
@@M2Mil7er people have so many definitions of what classic is, you have no real idea what the heck they mean and the term has lost all sense.
Agreed.
I see a lot here saying 3 weeks is casual to level, but who here just doesn’t see what the enjoyment is in doing 60 levels again, I didn’t mind the first time they released classic but for the love of god just give high exp rates. The levelling experience sucks
so when is release ??
I 100% agree about dual talents. Having to respec every week is such a chore.
Faction imbalance sucks if your friends are on other faction though and you can’t make a toon to play with friends
all these changes and we still can't get clams to stack. e: or an anvil anywhere near the trade district. i really don't feel like it's much to ask.
i dont understand it in pvp realm are they just gonna ply bg and arena or it means anything else ?
So its just going be the same as last time classic launched? Classic-tbc- wrath?
As an healer, the absence of dual spec is just a pain. Want to play shaman elem but It is useless in PVE because vanilla was not a balanced game. Consequently, I need to play shaman heal in raid to be usefull. I am ok with that but appart from raid , I want to be an elem shaman for the rest of the content (pvp, solo farming etc.).
For me dual spec is a great way to improve the gaming experience without distorting the classic experience at all. I am against rebalancing classes in classic but I am totally for dual spec !
Will there eventually be transfers / merges from Fresh to Era (Whitemane Cluster)?
if you have mail on your hard core toon how do you xfer?
Lol good point! Wait 30 days?
Noob question, but is there enought quests in classic to get you to 60? Like retail gets you to max level with the story quests alone. Or will you run out and have to spam shit?
no, it never happened to me and I lvled up many characters. Nevertheless, keep in mind that quests are NOT main source of exp. Its actually killing the mobs while doing the quests.
Also once you hit lvl 50+, you mainly wanna spam dungeons cause u get end game gear which you can use as prebis..
Good video fella answered the big question that i still had
Dual talent will be an amazing addition, yes plz!
is it true that your hardcore character can be transfered to either PvP or PvE realm? thought it was PvE only.
Not sure if I need to download a new classic on release, or will currenty classic cover.
I thought you couldn’t transfer HC character to pvp server after death. Can you confirm?
Zero chance that auction house, vendors and mailbox will work smoothly with only 1 PvP realm available. The delays will be insane.
Has the debuff cap been lifted?
I defs hope they allow DUAL Specs on the Fresh servers. Not having it was one of the most annoying parts of the original Fresh experience imho.
Important! You can NOT transfer a dead HC character to a PVP-realm. Will only work for the PVE one.
Didnt know about the transferring from hc to normal realms.. that is actually very helpful information
thats how HC has always worked, I expected the hardcore caveat when they said no transfers.
swapping talents for gold was the main disadvantage in classic wow, also I would like something like group finder, because trying to find a group in chat is a pain in the a**
Duel spec would be based. Your spec for group pve content then the other for what ever you want. Would make things so much more fun and way less of a headache.
Can't wait for you to monopolize all the Black Lotuses again.
Looking forward to more Classic content!
Calling it now
What would playing a priest be more difficult? i know nothing about priest but why?
