Yesterday my nail broke. My middle finger on my right hand.
My nails were at a all time high. So strong. Doing their best. Thick, strong, beautiful. Long. Yesterday I was reaching in the drawer for peanut butter. *SNAP* gone. My very life snapped before me. So far down there was no Saving it. I had to chop off all my nails and start fresh. They are nubs. Please pray that they will grow back fast.

Samiha Hashem I play 3 string instruments (I'm not quite sure why) and I have to have short nails and it low key pisses me off.
Strangely enough, this series of videos was very helpful when my knife slipped while I was chopping some vegetables. I had a cut diagonally through the middle of my thumbnail and actually cut into my thumb underneath. I was pretty lost on what to do about it, but the nail repair kit helped stabilize the nail long enough for it to grow out and the finger underneath to heal! 👍🏻

You also know someone is a quality youtuber when they show you there tragedys and fails and show you how to move on
The only reason nail clippers don't work for you is because of your dramatic C curve. You're essentially flattening your C curve forcefully, so of course it would snap the nail. I have woefully flat nails and I can use nail clippers just fine.

Megan Estabrook this is true, but there are also other problems that nail clippers preform when used. I agree with you sense I have very flat nails, but I do find that sometimes the clippers do fray my nail and actually break my nail in half, so may nail is only at half its strength, and is MUCH weaker and 100% of the time, it breaks fully. That’s another reason why she doesn’t advertise nail clippers as “safe” for your nails

Before using nail clippers dip your fingers in water.... soaking your nails makes it soft and easier to clip.

Once again you are saving me from anxiety. I have taken the habit to watch you videos when i felt anxiety cranking up. It helped me calm down and put my full attention on the video and what is happening.
And today it saved me again as i am sitting in the waiting room at the hospital and having multiple anxiety attacks, always thinking of the worst and so desperate to be home un my blankets. You bring a little piece of my home with me to the hospital as i am alone there at the moment. Keep on doing the good work once you are feeling better and your health is back into full on energy !

I recentky broke my middle nail and im NOT cutting my other nails. I like the process of the shorter catching up to the long. Heck, all my nails aren't always filed the same shape. I filed the first three oval and the last 2 squoval. It works with the nail design-very abstract.
