I have bad memories with furbies because one time when I was younger I lived in this house that my family and I called the orange house cause it was a house that was orange haha were so good at naming things lol and one Christmas I asked for a furbie and I got one and it wouldn’t stop talking so I said “shut up” and the furbie replied “no you shut up” so my brother said “your furbies stupid” it kept saying he was stupid and then it kept saying I’m a boy I’m a girl im a boy I’m a girl so my siblings and I being the dumb kids that we were instead of turning it off or taking out the battery we chucked it at the back of my sister and my closet and legend has it the furbie is still there to this day

I have bad Furby memories because I was like 20 and working at a toy store when they came out. Sept. or Oct. we got one shipment of maybe 20 or 30 of them and we had to sell them super hard to people because nobody'd heard of them yet. Finally sold them all. Then come Nov./Dec. Furby was THE hot toy for the holidays (ok along with Beanie Babies and those tricked out yo-yos) but we never got another shipment in. Customers would accuse us of lying and hoarding them for ourselves. *shudder*
