I am a christian and I still sin, our bodies and our minds are not without sin. Repent and have faith in the Father, give glory to God and turn from wicked ways, ask for the help and guidance. Pray for strenght an live your life as if tomorrow would never come. When you go to sleep say a prayer and give thanks for the day when you wake up give thanks for another day. Her word have helped me strengthen my relationship with my heavenly father. God bless you all and God bless you Lacey Sturm.

I got saved after watching a Billy Graham Crusade (live in Oct. 1981), but broadcast on NY TV in March of 1982 just when I needed to hear the gospel message (I too was suicidal that night). I can never be thankful or grateful enough. Also came to appreciate Lacey Sturm and Flyleaf music over the past few years. God bless your heart if you watched the whole video. Trust in Jesus...your life will only be fuller, better, and safer.

Regardless of what kept Lacey here, she has influenced teenagers that was in and is in the same position to keep living. Why does it matter? Lacey's work has had positive effects on her audiences without really shoving religion down anyone's throats. Regardless of her beliefs, she is someone to admire.

years ago in my teens I was once a militant atheist, I was caught up in drugs Lust and alcohol, and didn't care who was affected by it. after the loss of my father and grandfather. at 13 watching my father die in the hospital, I became angry with life, but a year latter I went to church and didn't really Know what was going on. participated in youth but I just didn't really allow god too work in my life, and that's when I fell into lust and booze. but the year I graduated high school, I almost ran into trouble with the law. it was at that moment in time I made a huge gamble. I turned to God not knowing If he would answer me or care. but a month of fear and worry of the law catching up with me, I at work on 4th of July weekend of 2015 heard a voice tell me faintly, 'I forgive you" I didn't really think I was saved or forgiven, but I had no choice I was determined too search God for hope cause my life was at a cross roads, and I felt like if I didn't turn away from my sin and repent, AND follow Jesus that I would certainly go to prison for a long time, and it was that. so a week latter I stood outside my house and looked to the sky and said, "God, I need your forgiveness I need you know if it be your will that I pay for my life choices then I understand completely" but it was at that time I heard clearly and distinctly Gods Voice say "My son you are forgiven" and gods spirt came over me I just felt overwhelmed, I couldn't contain this joy this love that God would love a person as horrible and wretched as I was. finally realizing God love, his patience and character.

Keep praying for our sister in Christ. The devil will always try to attack Gods people. But Jesus also said in Matthew 16:18 ...and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Praise God!!!!

The day I realized what my Savior suffered and endure for me, then asked myself what i was complaining about in my suffering, because God has NEVER given me anything that He didnt give me the strength and courage through His word and Word, which i had been unable to endure, up to that juncture in life.
I was mid 40's. Introduced to sex before age 5. I had been waiting to die for 4 decades.
Then my bishop asked me to preach a message on the sufferings of Christ, which he had outlined for me.
3rd time i preached that message, my life changed.
I'M GONNA LIVE FOREVER... AND I ACTUALLY WANT TO!!!
(Heartbreak is the worst thing i endure. But God trained me as a rejected soul. This evil wod will NEVER 100 percent break me down ever again.

Wow.. People in the comments section really need to grab ahold of Jesus's saving power, and shake off these worldly ideals they've picked up! When you hear these different testimonies, and hear about the amazing rescuing God has done in people's lives, you should realize that it's only like the enemy to try to come in while you're watching it and say "she wasn't really an atheist to begin with" or "they're worshipping satan based off the artwork." You'll learn, the enemy uses the same tricks every time, and God is much bigger than that, people! Just look at different bands' lyrics, and personal lives, and you can tell who's worshipping God and who's not. And how dare you commenters try to minimize God's saving power? Testimonies are personal, and most of the time, that saving grace is explained in very similar ways. You don't have to believe them, but you'll have your own encounter one day, if not already, to finally help you see that. Don't you know He's waiting on you to give up your own understanding? God is real, He's out to save the lost and mend the broken. He's not trying to sweet talk the people who think they know it all into believing in Him. Quit fighting against your own team; God is for us, not against us! Don't be fooled by satan's tricks!

"I'm So Sick" isn't angry, it's sarcastic. It's like Feed The Machine by RED and many other Christian Rock songs that are basically mocking our culture. It's saying yes, we are "sick", because we are in sin.

I dont think i can trust god or fully believe in christianity yet. I want to, i've read the bible cover to cover over amd over for years and i still dont believe a word of it. Maybe i'm just not cut out for it yet, maybe i'll be accepted later.
I remember church when i was a kid and having the priest tell me that god hated me and that he hated us all for our sins because they aren't forgivable. That was the last time i ever went to church, i felt ashamed for something i didnt even know i did.
I respect religion of all kinds, but im agnostic and dont know what i believe in.

Your sins can be completely forgiven by God, who sent Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son to this world and died on the cross to save us. And Jesus Christ came back to life again the third day! I am in crossroad, I also lost faith, I have so many questions that are unanswered! And I tend to believe now that it is some mad mass hallucination and some movement! I do not say there is no God but I also do not say there is! I have seen and experience a lot in my life, I lost my wife, I was hospitalized due to depression, I have been going through HELL ON EARTH, just experiencing HEAVEN ON EARTH shortly before! I think all we are, is a living batteries! Once we are going to die, we will simply cease to exist! That is why I am searching for the truth! And the truth shall set me free! I am more and more convinced that religion was made to control masses and create "eternal" enemies like God and Satan! It's like a war, if you profit from it you need to find never ending enemy, that is TERRORISTS! That's what is going on right now in our times! Maybe people will wake up one day but now all are sheep following evil clothed in a sheep's wool!
Well, i had to read it a few times
It's alot different from your run-of-the-mill storybook in terms of language and syntax. But when i understood it, it didnt touch me spiritually. However i felt like i was paying some sort lf respect to the lord, almost like the pledge of allegiance. But other than that i couldn't get into it.
Maybe something will happen to me and i'll meet god or something.

Pray for the holy spirit to come into your heart. knock and keep knocking! When that happened to me, I couldn't read the bible without crying and was so hungry for His word. Before that they were just words on a page that meant nothing. Now I know what it means when the word says it's living and alive and sharper than any double edged sword.

I'm sorry but when she said "if you would like to accept Jesus" I thought it turned into one of those puppy commercials
She isn't comercializing Jesus. Can't you see that she is trying to reach other people? She has experienced such a happiness and peace when she she was so sad and so hurt. Jesus works through people so that we may understand and relate with someone or an experience.
