    School was rough, I was from another planet and wanted to finish and get out of there. Dropped out of college. Ended up being an artist and musician and did well financially at both. Any other INTPs have difficulty with formal education?

    • @romsampaga8354
      @romsampaga8354 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      I did. Changed courses in college 2x, then dropped out. Got a job and was dissatisfied at work. Started thinking how I can change things and read tons of self help books. I went back to college (3rd course) which was business management and graduated with honors. My family was very surprised as they thought I was stupid in my younger years but what they didn't understand was that I hated the traditional education system where I had to study the things I wasn't interested in. I'm also obsessed in learning all about the things that pique my interest and am very sharp once I dial down on one thing. I tend to jump from one project to the next very quickly which my family mocks me for, but in my mind I didn't follow through the project because I could already see failure at the end so stopping or switching is the best option. Btw, I also dislike going to social gatherings.. especially wakes..

      This is possible, Ti and Fi is the continuum. Ti looking what is right, Fi looking what is good, basically they're just the same. The difference is, where are your innate process coming from. For intp, they dip into Fi from Ti and Ti is more constant adding logical framework, and for infp, they dip into Ti from Fi analysis and Fi is more constant to be active, i hardly be turn off. Another thing is Fi for intp is more rigid and static, whereas Fi for infp is more fluid and creative and vice versa. Therefore it should be easier for you now to typing yourself, hopefully.

    Why do I procrastinate?
    First , I get bored easily.
    I often need some kind of energy to accomplish a task , especially some kind of routine stuff.
    Secondly
    I Always find myself accomplishing a task with my own ideas , which I've got a long time ago, within a very short time.
    It surprises me every time that I do not need much effort when I get that kind of energy I prescribed.
    But I have to wait that energy comes to me.
    I just don't know when.

    I don’t have a lot to empathy and even if I did I know more than half of the people I talk to don’t deserve it. I get judged for being honest or rude when I just act how I was treated… I always think of the saying,” treat others how you want to be treated” but if that applies to me it also has the ability to apply to everyone so if someone is being rude and disrespectful to me I have the ability to react the same way( vice versa- but I accept it when I’m rightfully made fun of)

  • @TheSilentCheetah
    @TheSilentCheetah ปีที่แล้ว +6

    I don’t know if this will help anyone, but do note that not relating to all of these things doesn’t necessarily mean you're not an INTP. You should keep in mind that every type has a bit of every function.
    Something I really stuggled with when trying to figure out my personality type, was that I had to relate to everything about it. This is not and will never be true for anyone. You may even find yourself relating to a lot of traits in other personality types. That's normal too. There's a lot of overlap between personalities. Personality tests often have a lot of biases, so I recommend digging into what each of the functions mean and do, and whether they generally apply to you. What I mean by this, is that you should look into what the congnitive functions of a stack mean. So for example, the difference between Ni and Ne. If you learn how to do this, you can type yourself and you should get a much more accurate result.

    Wait, what?? Prospecting? And you say it can be used simultaneously? I struggle to agree with this, kindly explain.
    According to Google:
    Prospecting: searching for mineral deposits, especially by drilling and excavation. Example: the company is also prospecting for gold.
    Perceiving: become aware or conscious of (something); come to realize or understand. Example: his mouth fell open as he perceived the truth.
    How in any setting can these compare and be used simultaneously?

    • @PsychologyRefresh
      @PsychologyRefresh  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In the context of MBTI it can be uses as a prospecting trait.

    • @harrisiskandar8356
      @harrisiskandar8356 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You perceive and prospecting that price gold will be increase so you buy it when it cheap and hold it until it price increase or buy undeveloped land but you buy it because in next 5 to 10 years will massively develop and increase in value, so logically you buy it now.
      Perceive is what you think about something and how you think of person and something.
      Prospect is potential.
      It logical to use both perceive and prospecting. How can you see some prospect if you cannot perceive its value in the future?
