You won't magically find motivation one day, you will create it for yourself...
      1. Reframe it as "motivation is doing"
      2. just start doing whatever it is you hope to achieve
      3. voila - you're on you're way 💪

As an INTP-T, this video is so damn accurate to me. I feel this struggle all the time. In my society, i'm such an awkward socially, i'm more like an alien more than a human. Also, i'm always being misunderstood very often, that's why i'm really hard to trust people. In my school, i got a 1st rank at my class, and i feel ambition, i'm afraid if my rank goes down, but also i'm so lazy to study. Also, in my school, i don't have many friends bc my topics of conversation is really different from others. I'm more prefer to talk about psychology, economy, politics, history, science, conspiration theory, while the other girls at my age (middle schooler) is always talking about boys, crush, love, while i think those topics are a waste of time. This struggle is really hard, sometimes i wanna have so many close friends, but i can't 😥.

I hope that you find value and validation from knowing your type early on in life. Don't worry, if you focus some energy on trying to understand other people, and on not worrying so much what they think of you, and instead just accepting that people will always think you're weird, and that's ok, I'm sure you'll find happiness and contentment, as I have. Just wish it didn't take me 30 years to figure it out.

I believe all INTPs are sharing the same struggles, and you will need to find that one friend, maybe a life partner, with different personality to help you through that. Granted nothing wrong with us being INTPs, but this personality can only be successful in life with support from others imo.

It's worth some effort now to get good or better grades.(Think of them as a plan B policy). Boys and girls are only really interested in each other when their hormones hijack their brains (so it's really the other girls that are more like aliens). They may hijack yours oneday. Best to make friends with people who have similar interests as yourself. Maybe join a debating or astronomy club. Spend energy creating a good life for yourself first, rather that worrying about how you will share it with one ther person.

I am an INTP the struggle is real. When I knew I am an intp I was happy that I am a genius. But the struggle I am facing is just too much to handle. It took 3 years for me finish one thing that an ordinary person would take only 6 to 8 months. I would have loved having deep knowledge in one thing rather than having knowledge in everything. I would have loved having interest in one thing so that I would have not be exhausted while doing things I need to do

As an intp myself I have come to learn that, motivation is a fleeting emotion that comes and goes. You can't really rely on it to achieve anything.
Try developing good habits and eating a healthy diet
Discipline is what separates the masters from the mediocre
Remove distractions and focuse on the tasks at hand
    Hope this helped!

As an INTP, all of these called me out. XD
ESPECIALLY the 2nd one. I can't recall how many ideas and projects, and career interests I went through and abandoned either before even finishing or without even starting. This is why I ended up dropping out of college after changing my major 3 times in 1 year and only ever worked in food service, because I'm interested in so many things that I have no idea which one to pick, as we get just 1 option and school is too expensive to keep changing majors often, and I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I "grow up." I've actually been working on starting a novel/graphic novel series since I was 19, but so far, I've been coming up with a bunch of characters and backgrounds, and changing the plot that it's been almost 20 years, and still no book, just notes.
I only subvert the 4th one for being solid in my decision to never have kids, though. But everything else is accurate.

Even as an INTP I don’t fit with other INTPs. They’re out building rocket ships and polishing their Nobel prizes. Here I am in spaghetti stained shirt, painting a tiny pink flower on a canvas while eating banana bread slices and leaving laundry in the dryer for the 4th time in a row.

That intp's can't always state their emotions understandably, as said at 8:16, is due to their depth of thinking. They may want to for the perfect words for a couple of weeks or months. It is in their nature to think any matter from all possible aspects. If they hurry, they may be misunderstood or they don't even find any suitable words, if they take their time, opportunity to come back to the question at hand may not rise, or they may not be believed for their lack of emotion after so much time.

I just took a personality test yesterday and came out as INTP and I can’t explain how relived I am that I’m not alone lol.
I was labeled as gifted in Elementary as everything came easy to me and really wouldn’t try on subjects as it was “easy” as I grew up Middle School and High School was easy as well but way more work, like Long Division etc. and I always had problems with teachers asking me to show my work. So I’ve struggled with laziness and always questioning why school is even important especially in this day and age where everything is online. And as a kid I wanted to be an Astro-Physicist but dropped that idea after I realized I have to get a PhD whic gc just means more school 😅

I believe all introverted types could get along with all personality types, INTPs gets mentally struggled a lot compared to other personality types, it is hard or a burden for them to open up their emotions. I believe they are the most gentle thinkers, they desire to be polite, even if they prefer to be logical, and unique.

I would rephrase second point because it's not like we lose all motivation but rather our vivid imagination allow us to spend out motivation points on sitting in front of the wall and imagining things that you are motivated about for hours, then returning to reality and feel achieved for some time (hence no motivation)
I would also disagree about stubborness. Never in my life i wasn't stubborn if i am wrong. I did felt terrible admitting it sometimes but i did. In fact i generally find it helpful if someone point to my mistake. Once i discussed something with my friend (it was basically a question about logical reasoning of some certain situation). This question bugged me for a long time after and then i realized i was wrong (but didn't have contacts to this guy). 3 years later we met again and first thing i did is I said to him i was wrong then. However he didn't remember any conversation and laughed at me that i still was thinking about smth like this.

#1 - Does not apply to all INTPs. I enjoy the isolation.
    #2 - 100% agree
#3 - Agree but I am always aware of my surroundings including people. I just don't care what they think most of the time.
#4 - Yes, this is true
#5 - This can be true but I don't get so frustrated
#6 - Most people are not to be trusted
#7 - Not true for me. Most people mistake me for an INFP until I explain how dumb they sound.
#8 - Although it is true most can't keep up, I'll explain myself in a way only intelligent people will understand. So if you misunderstand me, well...

The main reason someone transforms between them is "hopeless". Since INTJs can see the future more than others, they will lose the hop from the 2nd or 3rd attempts, they just need to compare the tests they've done with the other possibilities they didn't, so they will know the result of the other 99 attempts without doing it. And, when they face a real challenge, they will not try to go in another direction in their life, because INTJs have basics and rules in their life... And you can think about what will happen next.
To make it more clear, what will INTJ do in his/ her waiting time? Now Imagine the same thing if an INTJ waited for SOOOO long time, like months or years, without having the power or money to find a new good hobby (for example: reading, learning languages, sports,..). They will just keep thinking in their World, then, they will try to avoid the bad feelings that will come by doing anything else, then they will start to lose the motivation over time, and will get used to useless hobbies they usually hated to spend time on it... And, step by step, they will transform into INTP, and that's what happened to me.
Maybe you feel that you are both because your free time in your schedule increased, or because you start to feel hopeless with your life, mostly when people didn't understand you..... Just try to fight your laziness, and find anything to fill the gap in your time. Being INTJ is much better than being INTP. No offenses, But I hope that you get the idea.

I'm INTP and this video is accurate. I'm super smart and basically right about most things way before most people...but it doesn't matter because nobody believes me or takes me seriously, accept my wife and brother who have seen me predict the future multiple times and now they trust me. But growing up I was an outcast and a weird conspiracy theorist..but now that all my wild theories have come true, my family has acknowledged that I was right for all those years. The theories I have now are taken more seriously, so that's good.

Hey, do you have some examples? I'm struggling with that too most of the time..
But there is people who indeed consider me smart and intellectual but it's came from more mature people's and more aged also by some correlation.. cause the folks my age(23) most of them are stupid, silly giggling dolls. I can have a good conversion only with 30 - 40+ years old guys on my job. But it's just being said that there is more chance to find mature human and someone to talk more deeply around those ages.

As an INTP, i'd like to disagree with the wording at 2:41.
"their attention span may be a stumbling block."
While yes, we may have trouble focusing on things, it isn't our attention span. It's our motivation, how much we like doing something. I, personally, have been immersed in a project for hours end because I was interested in the project and I felt highly motivated to complete it. Attention span isn't an issue, motivation is.

To my fellow INTPs read the subtle art of not giving a f*ck, it explores why motivation is a waste of time. INTPs live in our heads, we have a very rich and colourful internal environment. We take for granted that everyone is as deep thinking and analytical as we are, they’re not. They are always out chasing what we are born with, an inner calm. My best friend is Mr Extrovert and is always asking me to come to his boxing club with him. He has a majorly stressful job and uses boxing to excise all that tension. He’s verging on the edge of a breakdown (his words, not mine) has ruined a ligament in his knee with all this exercise and needs a nose job that booked for 1 months time because it got broken by accident when he was boxing and now he can only breathe out one side of his nose. We earn the same money but I work for myself caring for the elderly in a medical capacity where they need an appointment to come see me. Everyday is quiet and easy, people think I’m really zen. Which pleases me. Don’t try too hard, find someone you don’t mind doing and don’t live extravagantly. The rest of the time, I live in my head, and it’s a quirky place 😊😊
