OMG. Thank you sooo much. Ive managed to disassemble my go pro and reassemble it again, and my go pro of being dead for 2 years finally worked again. I guessed it was a loose wiring. Thank you soo much. I was so ready to throw away my go pro.

Great video with detailed instructutions to open the camera. Actually I am a GoPro user and not an electronic camera expert. I stumbled up on this video while serching for GoPro repairs. I have GoPro 6 black and its on off switch pad is torn and lost. The camera is working. I can put the cam on and off by pressing the metal switch seen through the torn opened swithch window. can this switch pad be replaced ? Kindly advice.

Hi. My gopro black 7 shows 'no battery ', but battery it's fully charged and turns on the camera.
Although i press record and it will no start record, just freeze and blocks. Any suggestion for fixing?

Thanks wonderful video. Question, by 3d CADing and 3d Printing your own case could I turn the camera assembly 90° so it would be pointing out the side of the USB. SO are the ribbon cables long enough to bend 90°? I like the GoPro, but the form factor is all wrong for mounting on a helmet. This way, the camera would be sitting with its back to the helmet. I don't want to get into any soldering, just repositioning.
Unfortunately I don't have any expertise in 3D Cading and printing.

Unfortunetely my gopro got salty water inside (even tough its suppose to be waterproof). And now it doesn't turn on.
While tearing down I have observed that the conector for the power button on the motherboard are all burned and the flat cable got destroyed too. I'm going to buy a new motherboard. Is there a way to replace the flat cable?
I made my way to remove the battery frame and the burned flat cable. Yet, don't know if I will be able to find and to connect the new one. The connection seems to be behing the lcd frame
Is there a way to restore the waterproff seals afterwards ? Thanks

My go pro doesn't turn on. Just can get one solid LED at the fron but no LED on rear. How could I fix this?

@@Light_Camera_Story Hi, I managed to get it working. I soaked it in IPA, let it dry over night & it's working. Only issue is now I have drying rings on the screen. But i'll that that over a non working device.

@@Near2Future Hey dude, I have that exact same problem, can you tell me what IPA is? I kinda want to try this aswell, I have that same solid LED at the front and no working led on the rear and camera wont turn on. I can charge batteries in it though, so the charging port seems to be working.
