- I made my first coat! This is the Papercut Patterns Nova Coat (formerly the Sapporo Coat). I chose this pattern because it seemed like it would be an easy make and....maybe it was!

Hi there! I bought this pattern and have not made it yet. Love your video, you seem extremely authentic and you don’t know how much you help those of us who may want to start a pattern but need to see finished examples. It really helps to learn that a pattern runs big. I also need to practice fit and work on a toile or mock-up. Sewing in a lining 🫢.

I totally understand your reasons for not uploading for the sake of uploading. Also I love that coat! I’m currently making some shackets and they swim on me, too! But they are for my kids and they’re bigger than me.
