Lovely honest review as usual. Love both yours and Ruan's coat, the pink colourway is gorgeous and love both the linings too. Haven't been brave enough to try a lined coat yet but definitely on my list for this year 😊❤

Coat looks great & thank you for such a great review. It seems like an easy make, however instructions in places not as easy as they could be. Also thank you for mentioning the pockets re not really deep enough re your phone, as that would concern me also, dog walking. 😊
I have almost lost my phone, and my keys, and my dog poo bags on more than one occasion from my old version! Have made a note for next time xx

Thanks Polly - I am terrible at estimating this as a faff around so much as I sew. I sewed it all in two sessions and tbh most of it comes together pretty quickly, it is just some of the final headscratching bits to attach the lining that took a while to work out. I reckon 8-10hrs xx
@@superbaillessews Wonderful, thanks. I made a beautiful cape a few years ago....took me over a week! Why? Because I could not remember to cut one bit on the nap, and had to cut it like 4 times! Talk about frustrating! Lol
