Flying across the country over multiple time zones, riding on a bus, and getting used to higher altitudes in cold weather are bound to affect your body and mind. Hopefully, by now, you've adjusted. As you know, your TH-cam followers are rooting for you. You can do this, Honey Bee (we've seen you "buzz" through some tough times on the AT). BTW, I like your new graphics, music, and style -- you've really stepped up your video "game"🎬👏(think back to your 2022 AT thru-hike announcement video). 😉🐝

Hang in there. I'm not a cold weather/snow person either. It would be hard for me, too. Maybe the headache is from lack of sleep, time difference, and lack of the feeling of security our phones give us. Breath and remember that thousands of people have done this, and you can, too.

Good for you, let those tears flow and let that pain out of you! Those emotions need to come out of you, don’t be afraid to just surrender to your emotions, it’s the most loving thing you can do to love yourself. We all have emotions that need to come out of us so don’t judge them or yourself for feeling what your feeling, just feel them. We love you Jessie and we want you to know the joy that you deserve to have in your life. We are with you and caring about you, but most importantly God is also with you and loves you with every ounce of God’s being. You will succeed, not just on the trail, but also in finding what your soul is longing for, real love peace, joy and happiness. God bless you and keep you my sister.

There's snow out here (I live in Oregon) until late July at higher altitudes, even as low as 6,000 feet. It's normal here and snow free backpacking isn't usually guaranteed until August. Very narrow window!
