      Thanks Pete! I ordered a new bugnet as I decided to get unnecessarily rough with my zipper. 😀

    I love your food bag! Pretty cool. I get that way too where you second guess going. It happens to me on phases. Is your hammock from superior gear?

    Sometimes the hardest part is turning up for adventures when you have some anxiety, but it is always worth it🤩. Some great scenery, and some good hiking. Even if it didn't go very plan, sometimes they are the best camps. Hope you are feeling better soon, thanks for taking us along .

    Sometimes the chaotic trips can be fun too, where you just kinda roam and see where you end up 😊

    That’s why we explore these places. So we know they are good or bad for camping LOL. Glad you finally found a spot. I love doing solos sometimes. And also dig the luminaid

    Awesome exploring the area was beautiful and good to know about the limited camping options for hammocks. Glad you ended up at that familiar stunning place by the stream.

    Antihistamines: I bought a package of Benedryl in North Carolina on my thruhike. I gave half away a couple of months ago. Still have the other half. Greetings from the Appalachian Trail in New Hampshire.

    I would love to hike and camp in that section of the country one of these days so different from my swampy lands that I love. Beautiful place! I need to do more stealth camping....in Florida stealth camping is definitely a summer thing because you dont need or want a fire. You got some awesome scenery out there!

    Nice video. I'm recovering from a cold too. Sucks. I guess I timed it right with California going a bit nuts with the weather. Don't let them hooligans ruin your dolphin swim time. It's cool how you changed plans and did whatever.

    Was this last week? The last few days of our Montana trip were in the upper 90s. Even up high it was in the 80s.
    Camping while sick is no fun but you bore it well. I've had those indecisive trips. A lot of times if I don't go out with a plan I get flummoxed and bail on the whole venture.

    • @BackpackingwithBuckley
      @BackpackingwithBuckley  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was last week. Quite hot but the hills always feel better than the Badlands on a hot ass day. I'm glad to hear I'm not alone in my indecisiveness.

    I solo, more than I camp with others. I too get a weird and sudden vibe that makes me hesitate. I don't think of it as fear, but rather "Good Sense" trying to revolt and bolt the other way.
    I also dislike thick underbrush. As a fellow sky dweller, I prefer to not disturb the underbrush. It's home to too many animals and they have as much right to be left alone as I have to camping there, so I split the difference and move on until I find a clear spot. I guess I have been lucky, that hasn't caused me to bail on a trip though.

    The trouble I have in lots of the forest in Western Australia, little hammock potential due to a number of reasons. :(

    • @BackpackingwithBuckley
      @BackpackingwithBuckley  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Badlands are also not hammock friendly. I am sorry for your luck my friend. I know the fires did a number on the trees there too.
