The Black Hills. Beautiful, spiritual, enchanting. I can see why the indigenous people want it back. Thanks for sharing, Tim.✌️
The story of the Hills being stolen is unbelievably sad.
Something else that is underrated, is your channel Tim🙌. So entertaining, you and Mike are great hiking buddies, and your friendship really shines through. Loved the late night hike in! We smiled all the way through this 😊. Looks like a great time was had with good company, in a really beautiful location 🏕👍. We all feel the same hiking back to the "real world", sucks doesn't it😔. Thanks for taking us along, and to you and Mike for brightening our week in the real us up a little 😊👊.
Shell and Pete
You two are so kind. I appreciate you a lot!
Beautiful place! Another great video! Love seeing you two together again.
Thanks Tonya! Hope you're doing well!
@@BackpackingwithBuckley I am thank you! 😊
That is an amazing loop! On my list to accomplish one day. Thanks for the shout out on being the “original” insulated hammock. Truth is the insulated hammock “revolution” has been around for 10 years, lol!
It's pretty spectacular, Pete. It pairs perfectly with a hammock too!
Looks like an awesome hike with plenty of spectacular views. And you get to use the hammock!
This is one of the best. Hoping you can make it out to see it with us!
“Hiking back to the frickin real world” is definitely a vibe 🤣 I’ve always wanted to do the black hills, looks coldddddddd! ❄️
It's been a cold spring out here buy still worth it!!!
Incredible views all the way around. Looked like a great trip.
Never gets old out there! Thanks bud!
Love it out there. There's a couple of really tucked away camping spots on Grizzly #7 if you ever make it in that way. My favorite route is Iron Mountain Trailhead -> Grizzly #7 ->Horsethief lake and then loop back through the Rushmore spur area. Quieter than the Sylvan side for the most part.
I agree. I've hiked that side too. There's some great spots in that area for sure!
Making me miss home! I have done an annual hike around this time doing willow creek to black elk and back for around 17 miles
That's a nice hike too! I've never been on a bad hike in the hills.
I loveee that trail! It’s so fun!
It's awesome right?
Looked like a good time. I’m going to do the Centennial Trail again in a couple weeks, you got me all fired up, Thanks
Nice! Going North or South? I've got a buddy doing it in a couple weeks too!
Going North, hope to start the 13th if the weather is good, if not 14th or even the 15th. If he’s one of your associates I probably subscribe. Really dig your channel hope to run into you someday!!
The sponsored morning poop made me laugh. LOL
Love it when someone shares my sophomoric humor Doc! 😀
love when your in the blackhills!! definitly the highest 2 people ive seen there 😅. looked like an unbelievable trip man.
It's an amazing place dude....especially when you can get up there real high. 😀
Looking forward to heading out there this summer
There's nothing quite like it man!
You guys are a hoot. Great video, makes me want to get out there and hit the woods.
Thanks bud. Mikey is a fun hiking buddy for sure!
Great video. Really makes me want to get back out there. Keep it up
Thanks Adam! Miss you boo!
Great hike the hike doesn't get old we do lol
So true bud!
Fun Video! Must have been really cold. I could see you & Mike's breath on beginning of day 2. Lol
Oh! On that neck knife. Shouldn't the sheath be attached so the knife comes free? Just asking?
Yes, and yes, Tom. But that was weed smoke.
@@mikeghost7788 I knew that Mike! Lol
@@FOLLOWINGWALKERSWORLD lmao!! I knew you knew. Miss you my friend!
@@mikeghost7788 Ditto my friend! 👍
I bet that walk back sucks. I wouldn't want to go back either. Great video 👍
Thanks Tressa! Many more trips to come in the Black Hills. It's an amazing place to be!
Great lookin spot....
I agree, never do like the "hike back to the real world"
👍👍
The woods are difficult to leave for sure!
True. I like the hike out of silver city, SD. The deerfield one that takes you from silver city to Deerfield lake and you follow the creek most of the way through so Water a plenty so you don't have to lug that extra weight around, just drink as you go. Through a valley and just nice secluded views that make you feel hugged by nature. The small town is wonderful. It's a easy hike as far as elevation goes, and with a few foot bridges out (at least as of a couple years ago) there is a nice stretch of Water crossings which make things interesting. Great places to camp, etc. Have a good car though. Driving down into silver city, you don't want shaky brakes lol.
I'll have to chack that trail out too. I've done a bit of it but not the whole thing.
😎 bp recently got a new one myself I'm not an ultralighter myself so I got a Gregory Baltero
Can't go wrong with a Gregory man!
ha your friend Mike is a hoot.
Agreed. His laugh is contagious!
Good to see you guys were able to have a good time in such a horrible place. Take care buddy.
Thanks Brian. Miss you my friend. It's a terrible place but sometime you'll have to visit. 😀
Great video, are you gonna review ur new backpack
I certainly will after another trip or two! Loving it so far!
Would be funny if the backside of mt Rushmore (to put it politely) was the presidents back side.
That's probably what they will carve next! Lol
hike on
I now see why you never responded to my texts. Guess you were out having some the same weekend I went to the badlands. At least that what it seems like.
I was out last Wednesday and Thursday bud. I didn't get any texts.
@@BackpackingwithBuckley I did the Sage Creek Loop 4/19-20. I did text you a couple times to see if you wanted to join. I took 3 others plus me. Couple were newbies to backpacking. Not sure what was happening. I checked with Wyatt to make sure I had your number right.
When was this trip?
Last week.
Please don’t come here🤣
I can’t wait to be back next month❤️
Lol. It gets busier out here every year as you know! Where are you going when you head this way?
