Whoah, lucky escape with the Bison 🦬😮. If he had followed through with that charge, there would have been some messed up hikers on trail! We would be up in those trees too! Would rather walk the extra miles than confront those grumpy units! 😂👌. Great video Tim, Tara is fun! Like button smashed 🏕😊👍 Have a great day Shell and Pete
That salad post hike is definitely a score reducer. When I did my hikes in Missouri, they all ended with double cheeseburgers. That being said, she got out and did a hike and an overnight. So that should cancel out the post adventure salad. Great video Tim.
You didn't sleep in a hammock this time! Mountain water is the best, at least when it's filtered.😊 Encounter with a bison, that must have been pretty scary! Have a great day! Kaat
What an awesome video, it looks like you two had a great time on the trail. How did you like those coffee pod things? I haven't tried any of those kind of coffees, I like my Apex Giant coffee gizmo.
I’m planning to backpack part of the Centennial Trail in September, and I can’t get past this fear of hiking around bison. I’ve backpacked through swamps in Florida and have no concerns about gators or wild boar or snakes….but bison, I just can’t get past the fear of it. Any tips?
Stay 30 to 50 yards from them. There is nothing to fear as long as you respect their space. Leave the trail if necessary, especially in open areas. Like any animal, don't startle them and try to be sure they see you. Other than that, try not to worry about it. They are often uninterested in you.
I totally think the salad was a mistake. I mean if you don’t get diarrhea on the trail. You should try again with food so greasy so delicious that it would be worth any following diarrhea. 😂
Bison getting his balls scratched by the trail marker 😂😂😂
Beautiful area and spot on with the music
Great video brother and tell Tara I said hi 😁
Thanks brother. I'll tell Tara HI for ya! Hope to see you sometime soon my friend.
We’ve all needed a scratchin’ post on trail a one time or another! Nice camp! Yay, Tara!
#dontbecomeabisionscratchingpost✌️
Tara launched right in to backpacker mode. I was impressed!

My thoughts exactly. These animals are not to be messed with. Hope all is well across the pond!
That could have gotten ugly real fast. Thanks for taking us along on this awesome trip.
People just don't pay attention to obvious things...like the fact that bison are huge crabby jerks. Insanity. Thanks bud!
Excelente naturaleza de esas que te manda volar donde te alcanse
Thanks!
That looked fun. No diarrhea is always good.
Can't argue that!

Logic prevails when Chris enters the debate. I'll keep her score 4.25 just based on that argument alone bud!
Wow those guys were lucky. You done the right thing by going into the trees. Great video too. Liked and subbed.
Thanks bud! Those hikers were lucky for sure!
Looked like a good little trip. Let's try to plan a trip for Sept.
I'm always down for a trip with the Iowa boys!
Great video, i love this
Glad you enjoyed it!
So different seeing you tenting I actually just got a new tent myself got the Lighthart gear firefly 😁😁😁
Lightheart makes some cool stuff!
No diarrhea, for the win! Looked like a fun time.. maybe not for that one couple spooking the Buffalo.. yikes! Thanks for the video brother
Thanks Mark! Hope you're doing well brother!

A tent is fun once in a while! The bison were feisty that day! Thanks Kaat!

Thanks Boop!! The pour over kit was really damn good. It was even slightly expired. You can't beat a Hilltop pour over though....EVER.
I have a bad frown if a signpost!!
Haha. That's the truth Milosh!
Loved it, brother! Tara's pretty silly, I dig her. Those dipshits and the bison though..wtf.
She is indeed silly. Those folks with the bison are lucky! Happy belated Birthday brother!
Tim was prairie dogging lol
Always bud.
Did the centennial trail last year and didn’t see a single bison. Not sure if that was good or bad luck.
That's pretty amazing luck. I can't escape them!

@@BackpackingwithBuckley That's encouraging - thanks!
She seems like a lot of fun. It would be boring without her.
Very true statement my friend...she kicks the party up a notch!

That's a great strategy. Haha. The salad did look pretty tasty though. 😀
Tara is pretty cute
She is!
gotta scratch those grapefruits some how lol
Ain't that the truth?!
Good advice about staying away from those bisons they are no joke
For sure they aren't! I can't seem to escape them. Lol
No diarrhea for the win. Peak Refuel is always a good choice. Day Hikers for the loss.
Stinkin day hiker gotta ruin everything. 😀
Stupid is as stupid does...
True statement Stephen!
