Hey, What was it what seal u use in betweem the base gaskeds, and maby stuppid question but ive you use seal in between, is that not a influence on the thinkness of the gaskeds again. So that it would be ticker, than ive you put them without seal in between..?
0.47mm was ok, according to stage6 R/T70 manual acceptable squish region is 0.40 mm (+0.10/−0.05 mm) which means from 0.35 to 0.50mm. Why do you want to change the squish?
I’m assuming a piston coating can allow for a tighter squish? Have you all ever seen that? I remember using a coated high compression vertex piston in a yz125 years ago.
Thankyou for the video extremely well explained 👌👍
Glad it was helpful!

Why did you use base gasket rather than head? I thought base would effect port timing but head would not.🤔
Although...I guess the more I think about it...it would be hard add another head gasket to that set up,
there you go your on the right track.....

Every cyl is different. Also different spec for diff fuels. A lot of pistons won’t handle tighter than .5

What was that thing you put between piston and head and then measured it?😅
Solder , like you would use to solder wires together
Do you think 0,60mm squish is too small for Yamaha aerox mk2 racing cylinder
That’s definitely on the tight side. I’d be watching for detonation, depending on your fuel used
@@Scooterswapshop yeah there has been some looking at the cylinder head it has some very small dots in it, gonna change it tomorrow to 0,75
what squish do you want
Every cylinder and engine combo will be different
Xd i had 0.0256mm on my Malaguti f12 R lc airsal 50cc racing
cool
