230 to 290 BPM - Extreme Drumming (HD)

- Hi TH-cam !
I wanted to do an updated version of my "220 to 270 BPM Double Bass Drumming" video, which was my very beginning of heel-toe and sound recording. It sounded sloppy, my technique was bad, that's why this new video is here !
Now I am equipped with better quality mics and I know a bit more how to mix. So the sound will be better than the video which was released 4 years ago.
I'm still using heel-toe technique, which means I play two strokes with the right foot, then two strokes with the left foot. That's why my legs are moving with the same speed but not with the same move, it just doubles the strike within each leg.
My kicks are, as you hear, triggered. I have the E-Kits triggers from Axis Percussion, and I taped the hammer's spring so there are less triggering issues.
As you will hear, my consistency is lacking precision starting at 270bpm. I'm working on it. If you have some advice please give it to me !
I'm trying to pass the gap of the 300bpm but it is really sloppy.. Next time !
00:14 - 230 BPM
01:35 - 240 BPM
03:08 - 250 BPM
04:38 - 260 BPM
06:08 - 270 BPM
07:21 - 280 BPM
08:23 - 290 BPM
If you have some constructive criticism, tell me everything you want, I would be glad to discuss with all of you.
See you soon !

He needs a "I'm not a robot" captcha verification. Are you even human!? Great drum skills!!
When the bassist says that you are playing a bit slow
Man, if he was wearing a Fitbit imagine how many steps that would be
Heavy metal musicians really know how to play any instrument well and to the fullest
Me :
I paused this so his legs could take a break
I refuse to believe the 290 bpm on the bass is real until I hear it in person
The double bass is flat out impressive. The control from fast double tap on each bass to single taps is so rhythmically pleasing.
What I respect the most: he changes it every time to prove - unlike so many others - that he is PLAYING it and not playing us by simply speeding up the video
My shins hurt just watching you. Incredible. Accurate as a computer
280-290 sounds like high radiation warning haha
I would be curious to here your bass drum un triggered
It doesn’t seem that impressive when watching the speed gradually get faster and faster bit by bit. But when you skip back and forth from the 230bpm part to the 290bpm part you actually realize how insane this is. This dude is crazy talented.
Uzicore.
Dude your heel toe is so freaking
Wow now that's what I call devotion, to get to this level few drummers do. Congrats, give this guy all the $$$
When your crush is in the corner and the music teacher asks you to play pop beat 1
