Thanks for sharing. I bought that kit not long ago. I did it 20 years ago. The thing that bogs me the most is that windows are loose in their openings. Too loose. But it's a nice kit that can be duplicate to make it longer and more to scale. Nice job. I didn't think of painting it black as a primary base color. Keep on your good work.

@@achb-railway I'm planing to use both walls as the front and block windows... at least most of them. I liked what you did with that kit.

It seems like a pretty versatile kit - the buildings could be used for all kinds of purposes.

Nice build. Looks kind of like the old Fisher Body plant in Detroit, but that would take several kits. Still an imposing structure for a layout.

Some of the Walthers kits come out looking pretty good. But you can’t stick with just the moulded in colours…

Thanks for sharing. What is the brand of superglue you are using with the long curved tip? Thanks in advance. Great work!

I got it on Amazon. It's called "Cyafixed". I have it in both medium and thick viscosity.

Honest question, do you need to scuff up the parts before priming, or will it adhere on its own?

No. Scuffing up the parts would remove some of the detail, so I don’t want to do that. Make sure the surfaces are clean before painting though! Not a bad idea to give them a wipe with some isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils, other dirt.

I realized that after I was done. Gotta work on that! Didn’t realize it got in the way (I was using it for the light mainly).
