    I bought one of these (I have the 150) when I saw yr last video on this very sprayer!
    You can buy 800ml containers with lids also. I fill up a few of them in advance & then swap the nozzle over to the next container. Leaving all the wash up to the end.
    Another tip, if you need to take a break is to get a fairly damp cloth, doubled up a few times & wrap the nozzle in that and cover it in tin foil. The tin foil squishes around the shape nicely.
    I had a big job painting furniture & this worked out very handy over 4 weeks; not a splutter!

    Thanks for the vid - I've just bought one through your link as I'm looking at 9 new fence panels I've promised my better half I will paint this bank hol. Plus I have a shed to sort soon.
    PS - hope your are enjoying your bandsaw too - that was a great vid on the blade change you did.
    Cheers from my private account - Nick (Laguna)

      Nice one, cheers Nick for the comment. Yes the bandsaw is just phenomenal, everything I wanted and even more! Good luck with your spraying adventures, it’s actually quite enjoyable when you get going 😀😀👍👍

    Great tip Leo. No masking I noted, can you just wipe over the windows and door afterwards. Mike
    PS I bought the bigger HPLV one last year after watching Raff painting his Italian house with one . It does have the advantage that it takes the paint directly from the tin so you can use 5 L in one go. I am intending to use if to paint some walls and rendered planters and a old concrete chimney barbecue in the garden but I haven't got around to doing it yet.

    • @Hand-i-Craft

      Cheers Mike and yes just a cloth over the windows and doors with a spray of mild detergent does the trick fine. At some point I guess I will upgrade my spray gun but for now this works fine 😀😀👍👍

    Hi Leo, hope you’re keeping well mate, there not bad sprayers, they are okay for outdoors for getting a good coverage, had a ronsesl one few years back, I have Wagner airless sprayer holds about 5.5litres used for few rooms last year wasn’t good, prefer me old school brush and roller!!😂

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Couldn’t agree more Gary. For fence panels / cladding / outdoor furniture they are ideal. Too much overspray for internal jobs. By the time you’ve covered and taped up everywhere not getting sprayed, you could have had two coats on with a brush and roller 🤷‍♂️😂👍

    I was wondering when you were going to finish the rest of the cladding when you did your painting of the windows video ... looks like a nice job and done quickly and easily.
    With regards comment below about size of container, the bigger the container the more it weighs when full, the more tiring it is to hold and spray with ... is probably the reason why.

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Barry and you’re absolutely right, when you can’t switch between hands the weight of whatever you’re using becomes a big issue. Thankfully with the container I have on this, it is just about ok and not too forward heavy 👍👍

    Never understood why they have such a small reservoir for liquids, I bought a £30 amazon HVLP but it came with 2 pots, so impressed with spraying a bought a Wagner Pro 250

    If you have a helper, any time not spent filling up the container might be worth back-rolling the stain so it’s not just sitting on the Timbers.

      @Hand-i-Craft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great point Frank. I think in this case the cladding was so ‘thirsty’ it soaked it up in no time. I never treated them when I first put them on as they were too wet, glad I let them dry out first 😀😀👍👍

    Have you had any problem with nozzle breaking, seems to be a comman fault with the w100, when it does its useless.

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think part of the problem with the nozzle is folk not cleaning it through properly once finished then poking and prodding it to clear out dried product when they go to use it again. I’ve bought a couple of extra nozzles with additional containers for when i use water based and oil based products 👍👍

    I have the same model and think it is great but my needs are for less capacity so I bought the gravity feed accessory pack. I may never touch a paint brush again.

    Hi..Can you tell me if this is OK for cuprinol garden shades paint?

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve never used it with that product but providing the paint isn’t too thick it should be fine. You might need to thin the paint down slightly by adding some water and mixing throughly

    Hello great demo, I sprayed my shed today with Ronseal one coat! First time using this sprayer could you advise on the correct setting for the trigger as I was getting mixed results with the spray. Thanks

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello pal, if I was you I’d start on the lower setting. That way you can always increase the power if needed. If you start the other way you could end up with overspray which you don’t want. Hope that helps a little 👍👍

      I had my first go but with the Bartoline wood preservative. It's almost water thin and is a right swine to regulate through the nozzle.

    Leo may I ask if it was Osmo uv protection you spayed through the Wagner?

    • @Hand-i-Craft
      @Hand-i-Craft  ปีที่แล้ว

      No mate, something called Alphachem clear I bought from my local timber merchants. I only used the Osmo UV oil on the front and I’ll be moving on from that as it failed again so will have to sand it back and start again with something else

    You're talking about wasted time filling the container?....with a work job like this you need time, it's about maybe 5 minutes.
    with 2 containers you also need a 2nd man/woman.
