Wait, wait, hang on... Have Andertons been hanging on to this video since April, not releasing before now?! Bring on more bass!! I sometimes miss oldtimer Nathan, but the Cici-Lee (and Oz behind the camera) pairing is pure gold and such fun! Younger and more dynamic and hella fresh!
Now, if only Cici and Oz could do a "doom/sludge/distortion" session...

Love that Low Growling Guttural Bass Tone , I have been playing standard 6 string lead Guitar for over 25yrs , ive also just started to enjoy Bass , I bought a 5 String Short Scale Bass and loving it , it Helps keep my fingers and wrist strong and supple. After playing Bass for an hour and switched back to Standard 6 string Guitar its so much easier to play fast for longer , it helps so much with stamina to.

Geddy is easy, he hasn’t used amps on stage in years. Just uses a DI and some other trickery to go straight into the PA system.
Alex uses a pricey multieffects floor unit, rack gear (a Cry Baby wah rack unit has been spotted) and Hughes and Kettner amps, that’s a challenge to do on a budget.

More of this, and non-specific pedals that happen to work perfectly for bass. I play a 5-string tuned to A, so I always want to know which pedals retain the low-end grumble. It's all about the brown notes

Those bubinga Warwick Corvette Standards are so gorgeous, but wow do they weigh a ton. I went with a Corvette Proline, instead, with a flamed maple body and a much more reasonable weight.

Early stages with drive on the Origin Effects pedal reminded me of Tim C with RATM.
Muse - Hysteria is the most intimidating bass part, it’s not easy and it’s relentless!

I don't think the voice switch operates in drive mode. On the origin effects pedal.
The Voice switch works in both modes, it just operates differently. In EQ Mode it is adaptive and only actives as the pedal clips. In OD mode it is always active with the chosen setting.

Voss seems like a nice guy, but maybe he should study the pedals a little before making a demo video about them haha. He's always just twisting knobs randomly, which can be fun, but at some point there has to be a method to the madness or you'll be turning knobs that don't do anything. I was disappointed with how the YYZ pedal was demoed, I have that pedal and her bass should have sounded way better than that!
To be fair, the RC is supposed to be a "Really Clean" boost, rather than compete with these overdrives. Maybe try it into one of the other pedals?

I can't get my head around "twiddling knobs" with no idear , or aim for a tone. On the xotic, the idiot "twiddled" the gain know 3 times, THAT was NOT engaged..

The flipping left and right of the pedal is annoying and seems unnecessary. Please test more pedals in the low distortion settings. So we can hear what the pedal adds at a very low setting. Seems as though everyone is drawn to the "full throttle" settings as opposed to the light settings and slowly moving into full throttle.
