- Noah is a prodigy in fighting games. He's only 8 years old at the world championships, and is already making a splash against players triple his age. How deep can he go at Evo?

Appreciate the love and support from everyone 🎉
It's been great seeing you still competing to marvel to SF and always grinding out man
I remember you , much respect towards you my dude
I never knew you was doing all of that with luke
shut the fcc ûp you fake âss account
Put it on Nipsey
Noah’s brother here, appreciate this video whole heartedly 🙏🏽
Tell him I said wassup
@@devilsephiroth9000his uncle here, he's a bit busy in the basement
Never tell him to stop
@@devilsephiroth9000 will do 👍🏽💪🏽
Noah's stepsister here, appreciate this commen whole heartedly
There is this legendary saying that in the gaming scene, just as much as in the chess scene, you always fear the 8-14 year old kid in a tournament full of grown ups.
I didn't know Noah was fucking balling in in SF6 in current year!! LFG Noah!
He's old enough to drink now, right?? Goddamn shit's wild
i didnt know it was him i was seeing on the leader board on the top all the time i saw this mvc 3 match looong ass time ago and i didnt remember his name and i always see noah the prodigy on the leader board in sf6
8 @ 2011 so not yet?
This vid makes me feel 100 y.o.
His birthday is today! He's on twitter. He turned 21
@@shaunmcisaac782
Today, my dude. He can finally celebrate that killer run
real fall from grace llok at the dude, looks like every home town punk
Nothing is more dangerous than the strength of the incredible hulk fused with the mind of an 8 year old boy
Lmaoooo
I remember when he played SF4 and the Bison player that was beating him was getting booed so bad. Man EVO 2011 was wild, every single game was insane to watch, BBCS2, MvC3, MK9, SSF4AE. Still my favorite EVO.
I still think we dont have a better era than PS3 / 360 fighting games in terms of hype
@@sin_champloo277 I agree. Every game and every franchise was on fire. Spent hours in high school playing MK9, SSF4AE and BBCS2.
Honestly, hearing at the tail end that Noah is a Luke player is so fitting. Luke embodies the go-face-always playstyle so well
RoyalFlush's team really shows how different Vannia was to UMVC3.
Telling someone your team is Thor, MODOK, Viewtiful Joe would get you strange looks.
Who would ever dare use that team? 💀
He still main it in umvc3
What was so bad about the team? I dont much play team fighters (just cant get into them), so i dont understand how it works and the strategy behind it. I just pick who looks the coolest to me and play with them.
@@smoothsavage2870 Because in team fighters with assists, you have to often compensate for a characters' lack of tools by using something from another character. Some would argue my team has no synergy and they're just 3 point characters doing nothing to help each other out.
@@royalflush Ahhh. That makes sense.
I guess you could call this story:
"The Noah Arc"
Why not just call it “Noah’s Arc” you’re doing too much
"Guitar rift"
Cool story bro
@@JamaalDaGreatestyeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooowwwwww
Noah ass 😂😂😂
Biggest take away is that hes got some cool ass parents! Really glad his skills are encouraged early on, cant wait to see the next fight!
oh wow, I remember this kid. Always wondered what happened to him.
Yoooo didn’t know this about Noah’s background! Gonna be even more hype to see him succeed in sf6 now
Noah is a beast, and hes like 18... the yong talent like EndingWalker Mena and Noah are here to stay!
21 this year
I've played Noah a few times in sf6 in masters ranked. He always kicks my ass. 😂
Wow, it’s crazy seeing Noah play then and seeing how it descends all the way to FighterZ meta with “Early Sparking” & “Happy Birthdays”
never underestimate the ability of a kid to spit-roast you in video games 😂
XD
It takes a combination of talent and experience to overcome either. This little dude had and no doubt still has both (obviously not as much experience as some others at the time) but can clearly learn fast and hence, gain the experience. He's the best of both worlds. Such a cool and talented little dude. I hope you're doing well Noah, all the best dude
Great video as always, love the little TV so much lol
Also good to keep in mind that there are certain age ranges where one's reflexes / execution is max and optimal, and then an age where it slowly declines. And the differences between using a keyboard/ fightstick / pad, can impact timing due to smaller / shorter finger movements
tokido with his measuring tape is just bat shit crazy💀
Noah set the precedent. Kidlegend expanded on it and improved it
He did decent. But if we are being brutally honest, it was more about the opponents messing up or dropping combo after combo is why he won.
Seems like it happens often huh
@@kylespevak6781 That the opponents mess up? World champs don't mess up that often. People like Justin Wong among others, who won evo multiple times.
@@cooltron You were saying the kid isn't good, it's just opponents messing up. I was sarcastically asking if people must mess up often since he's high level
Good for this kid, glad he kept at it and is continuing to thrive.
I heard prodigies beat good players, but never hear a player who beat experience players by a single digit age. I’m very happy how history can change by finding gifted players.
Especially Loved the part where he has revolutionized Fighting Games...
People just say stuff for no reason
My favorite part of this video was when the crowd boo'd ChrisG. Absolute classic. Great video as always
Always kneel and rapidly hit the light punch 👊
There's a weird aspect of being a prodigy, that just means you "get it" earlier than everyone else your age. But as you get older and those guys who didn't "get it" as fast as you are starting to come up on your level, I wonder how that makes a person feel psychologically who started as a young prodigy...
This was beautiful thank you Noah's father
So sick. Got me hype!!!!
Used to play Noah in both Umvc3 and call of duty back in the day, he was deff the homie
I swear this is something out of a shonen anime, this kid is the Killua of fighting game tournaments! Wish that was me!
He didnt revolutionize anything..? He just mashed H with hulk. Good to see hes still competing and establishing ranks for himself, though.
You gotta title your video something.
@@8thlvlMage More like title your clickbait
Great story on a talented kid.. best wishes to all
Thanks Noah.
God bless you.
Awesome video!
This kid is now old enough to drink
THIS KID IS NOW OLD ENOUGH TO DRINK
It really is crazy how quickly human beings adapt and improve.
Dude, that Kaiba meme becomes a reality!
Imagine that kid steamrolling LTG on a tournament.
Nice video!!
This is my first time seeing a literal child prodigy, amazing!
Did that bro really just pull out a measuring tape to check the distance inbetween his chin and the screen 😂 LOOL
I miss this game
I'm surprised the 2012 fight between us wasn't even listed. Interesting.
Interesting
This vid is amazing noah is really amazing
Talent and prodigies do exist.
Noah was ahead of his time
Younger players have both higher reaction speed as well as the lack of "fear" that develops with experience, this allows them to use hyper aggressive strategies to overwhelm even experienced and older players. Of course this also requires the younger players to be really good and practiced at the game.
Different age groups play the game at different speeds and thus develop different styles, for a fighting game microsecond differences can mean win or loss, so an aggressive playstyle by a very reactive player can be a very powerful strategy against opponents who biologically can't keep up.
lol i get what your saying and its a little factor but you acting like he playing agasint someone who is 40/50.
@@Whensmahvel1 Nah it's actually a big deal, reaction times start dropping past 25, it's why most eports pros retire after that.
Fighting game pros also know that but because FGs have a lot of legacy knowledge that builds up fundamentals through experience, they can make it up for the loss in reaction speed.
In a Taiwanese GQ interview Oil King in his 30s said that he actually can't keep up even with players like Punk who are already themselves in the 20s.
are we ever going to get a video on tony kila
Idk about anyone else but I'd much prefer your video volume to be a good chunk louder, and have to turn it down (rather than all the way up and not hear it on my speakers over background noise well)
It's not that bad, but just my two cents!
RoyalFlush dropped so many combos.
So crazy 8 years old
Your work is astounding; akin to a novel that captivated me with its depth. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
How did he change/“revolutionize” fighting games, tho?
Because he’s 8
Yeah dude, he's 8 years old playing people actually willing to go to tournaments
Where you at man post more videos
underrated channel
Talent is inevitable
Holy shit I remember this kid. Copied his team for a local MvC3 tournament and sweeped.
Some kids just have it look at these little kids in fortnite
If experience was more valuable, I would be good at smash bros after 11 years
I am now a Noah fan 😤 the future is now
I came in to try and talk about Potter/ robust but then I realized he was like 16 when he was up against the likes of soo mighty and clockwork
Noah the Child Prodigy!!! ❤❤❤
purest multiplsyer game there is now no cheating just competition... love this ❤
Thats actually how you get better anyway, DBFZ for instance when I started 2 years after release i was trash but fighting against players miles above my skill level taught me blocking strings and when to counter etc etc so even losing you learn.
He meant to say "never to EARLY to start playing"
Imagine if he became a UFC Heavyweight 8 year old child prodigy.
talent isn't real, hard work creates the illusion of talent, but its skill
Yeah. Noah been had his stripes. 💪🏿
In other words, he's the IRL Wizard.
*never too early to start fighting games
LapaPobster!
Chris was a great teacher. Life is not fair you should continous improve
wait that noah the prodigy guy was THIS LITTLY KID???????:
Its a fast twitch game his reaction speed is a big bonus. Not to take anything away from him just stating a fact.
Noah proved how stupid this game truly was.
chrisg has been around for so long, he’s playing mk now
I saw a comment on another video saying the guys went easy on the kid and it got him to top 36. Idk, seems like a real fight to me.
Who has more time and real time training than a kid who loves gsming. Of course they'd be the boss you never faced!😂😂😂 While you were working to get that paper, im becoming your worst nightmare on these sticks.
Ngl this video solidifies my thoughts that fighting games are the most anime we can ever get in real life.
the way mvc3 was made, any age can dominate the game. you just have to find a good team that works for you.
damn imagine being a kid and being lucky with spamming
Where's he at in the rankings now?
Lesson : Dont let kid control the Robot..... (Sentinel)
Can you do RayRay vs Fanatiq?
I bet Prof. X is the guy that taught him well
✊🏾
BUDDY, U MEAN ITS NEVER TOO EARLY TO START PLAYING FIGHTING GAMES.
8:48 "Never too late to start playing fighting games." I think you meant never too early.
8 years old? My father has been revolutionizing fighting games since he came out of the womb
YO ITS THE KID JWONG BEAT UP!! LMAO
Kids should have their own category. That’s just humilliation for adults
Adults that get salty from losing to kids just need to not lose to kids. A loss is a loss
I didn't know about his Marvel run. I remember his Gouken in SF4 though. One of the first times I saw someone play him in a tournament.
People booing the people playing against Noah are trying to rob him of the experience of competition which is winning or losing on your own merits.
They're not booing for Noah, they're booing for themselves
Muggles
“His team on paper beats Noah’s” no, royal flush’s team did not beat hulk/sentinel with xf3 wesker, please don’t misrepresent team strength just to make Noah’s accomplishment vs Royal Flush even more incredible. Royal Flush’s team was absolutely terrible, coupled with the fact that NO ONE could play Modok to even a mid tier level.
Noah is my lil bros name lol hes a cool kid. Seen a video about em.
So how did he revolutionize gaming?
fucking #1 luke!!!!! dam kid keep it coming
It's marvel baybee!
Why was the crowd booing so much?
