This is definitely Mahvel Baybee. Seeing unusual teams like Spencer, Dante, Frank is the reason why the game exists this way. People always gravitate towards high tier because of how easy it looks. But to have pride in sticking with what you like that works for you is always so satisfying.

Seeing this again made me miss MvC3 when it was a huge game back then. I remember seeing this when it was live, and it was amazing to see our team member win at the time. He played many matches and trained very hard. I remember talking to him, and he said he will win that year, and we were so happy at that time and proud of our community.
Past few days have been horrible for me. We took both of our kids to a different state to take a look at houses and tried to create a vacation out of it at the same time. I've had a lot of fun, but my kids refuse to sleep at night so I'm going a little insane. Just now with my eyes barely open and my baby on my lap, I opened TH-cam and started flipping through my feed. Then... lo and behold, a new papa lobster video. My day just got better, and I'm not so sad about no sleep.
Love this, great video! Bee was one of my favourite players! His all out attacking style meant he didn't always play "smart" but his matches were always super frenetic, fast paced and so enjoyable to watch. Would be amazing to see a video on the Bee vs Knives FT15 set during Canada Cup, that was one of the best long sets in UMVC3 history.
Bee will always bee our peoples champion, bee's sessions at his place when he was training for a tournament or when he was training for a ft10 was the most fun I had as a marvel player. I love reminiscing about old ass marvel. It's such a different time. I still love Marvel and all the stuff people like Tong are doing to keep the game alive but there's something different about that time between like 2012 and 2016 or so that just feels magical.
I love Frank West. Dead Rising is my favorite series of all time, so I'm pretty happy that there's a pro player representing them even though they probably never played the game

i commend bee where i critque the rest of the fighting game community (competitive scene) to summarize it like this: competitive play isnt as entertaining as it can be what with the follower mentality that runs rampent in gaming that stops players from putting something unique together and instead going after "the easy win" with "hand me the win" characters. who knows what other strats exist. competitive scene wont be the place to discover them all.
But this is Marvel, lowtier teams won evo already, yes it have its own demons with the toptiers but the only game u can actually win thanks to team synergy
