Ugh I am so jealous of that Shinjuku box on the background! Played a prototype version years ago on TTS and been waiting ever since for the game to be released!
Dang, I DO love victory points! And I love tile placement! And I love engine building! Definitely going to have to check this one out. The artwork and the "build and run your machine" gameplay loop reminds me a bit of Fantastic Factories, which I also enjoy.
I love victory points! 🤩 Will we see you at Spiel? If you have any special Asian games we should look out for, please let us know! (Especially trick taking/shedding/climbing ++)
I will be at Spiel!! I’ll be working the Bézier Games booth most of the time. There are indeed a lot of games from Asia heading to Spiel this year! I’ll try to pump out more content sooner 👍
@boardgamingramblings I did a whole series of videos going from Hall to Hall about every board game from Asia going to Spiel! th-cam.com/play/PLNAxND7Ls96PWS5X48MacNJt2r6tUnMcu.html&si=4h6QCauxFybztydS
Hi, I'd have a transport rule question: 12:50': Is it also allowed to transport through buildings if they have not the transported ressource. In specific case if Sheep Pasture and Agricultural Farm Tiles were switched, can you transport wheat from Harvesting Center to Grocer?
Great question. I’m not 100% sure on the answer as I’ve never read the finished English rulebook. From my understanding the idea is, a yellow cube can’t pass through a location that uses yellow cubes as the yellow cube would get stuck there. Since I recorded this video, I believe Jelly Jelly Games has uploaded the English rules to BGG.
I do like Victory Points when they properly act as an abstraction of "what you are trying to achieve in the game"--whether that's political power, or economic power, or "a measure of success in life, however you define that"

🤫 There are rumors that it got picked up by a big EU publisher
@@CardboardEast That would be stellar!

Victory Points are the best! Thanks for watching!
I will definitely check out this game at Spiel it looks so fun!
It is fun!!! It’s the great little tile laying game that could!
Victory points tend to gravitate to my wife when we play games. She certainly gathers them more easily than I do.
Curious. My wife has the same reaction to Victory Points!

Based on how I play most games, you'd think that I do in fact hate victory points.
There are days where I feel victory points have a violent allergic reaction to me.
