Alex's head only makes it halfway up the drivers window on the Freightliner. Good thing that doesn't have anything to do with how well she drives the truck! You are blessed with hard working children in your family Andy. Great video.
Something about a women that can drive a semi. Andy. You can definitely be proud. You did a few things right with your kids. It just kills me to see how little this next generation can do. Let alone drive a truck along side a chopper. Keep up all the hard work everyone. Have a good one andy
That maintenance on the chopper sure made a difference on these fields. The coryography in the field trucks was top notch, That barn sure looks good for getting out of the rain. Thanks for sharing Andy.
Andy I love your videos you have a beautiful and hard-working family I love all the girls. I worked on a farm on and off going to come on cloud and disc also drove a truck over the road for 25 years . Now I am retired and started a landscaping business with my son and daughter and my daughter can out work my son any day also my 13yo grandson helps when he's not in school.Andy I believe you can fix anything. How many daughters and sons do you have that help on the farm.
The no till corn into the hay field looks really nice. Will be interesting to see if the yield is good too. Lots of time and fuel saved from ripping up the hay field if you can just seed directly into the hay fields.
Andy-I would like to see some videos dumping and packing at the bunk-I believe I have seen most of your videos and I don’t believe you have had any videos at the bunk-You have some of the best videos on TH-cam-
You have a great "Family Farm". I am guessing that you are either "Inc", or "LLC". It always bothers me when people go off on "Corporate" farms, and don't realize that most are family operations and use the legal terms and tactics for liability and succession reasons. I'm not digging into your business, but if you can explain it to the non farm people at some point (maybe in winter, when the chores are done and everything is mostly fixed or fabricated) , perhaps your viewers would learn something. Great video, and the haylage looks good enough to taste from a few hundred miles away! 👍👍
You said a mouthful there. People do not realize that in this particular situation at least they are growing because they want to bring family members on board and it's the only way to go in today's economy. Small farms are great I run one myself but if you want to bring family members in and grow sometimes that is the only way and using the legal matters to incorporate are business sensible
What’s up with the dill weeds hanging off the cab of the chopper ?? U know them professionals would have their driveways n field approaches clear of the dill weeds !!! I’m just trying to get u going on them professional operators !! Great stuff. Great stuff.
How do you know when the knives need sharpening? Or do you just do it daily? How many times can they be sharpened? Thanks, I appreciate what you share about farming.
This is just a comment, not a complaint. The long time gap between making the video and posting it on TH-cam makes it harder for your neighbors who watch your channel to keep track of what you’re up to. They’ll have to get in their pickups and drive around the neighborhood like everyone used to.
with you being lite on corn for the next few years is hay going to be enough or will you have to find some corn to chop from other farms to cover your corn needs
Hope your happy with the repairs you did on the chopper? Sounded pretty strong! This was 3rd cutting? Wind rows looked really big. That's good. Could you tell tell the difference in how this was going with the chopper?
Hi Andy. Have you had any drone demoes yet.4 or 5 Yt farmers have tried them out on corn and soy beans and seemed to like the coverage. The trailers these guys are using all looked slapped together. If you ever got a drone you could fabricate your own. The only fancy one I've seen have been at the farm shows.
Not exactly but ever since Paccar bought out Peterbilt and Kenworth they're not near as good as they used to be, might as well buy a Freightliner, although the T -800 KW still seems ok with a DD 16 in it.
Great video Andy...its good to hear the big harvester working hard and great teamwork by the guys and gals in the trucks

So much more advantage. She can see the pipe 6’ above the truck!
Keep going brother, your channel is great 👏👏👏👏👍🇺🇸🇲🇦🇺🇸I salute you👍👍👍You are the best
Wonderful videos Farming Fixing & Fabricating thank you
People.. hit that like button, Jesus how hard is that .. show some respect for the man and his family..❤
I love to watch your family work together. Keep up the good work

I like it when your talking Andy. Have a great day.
You are bless with children that are willing to work with you and help farm andGod bless you and your family
That semi truck is putty in Alex's hands. Smooth operator.
It is amazing the volume that chopper can work. I used to chop on an open station tractor with single windrows from a 9' swather
That maintenance on the chopper sure made a difference on these fields.
The coryography in the field trucks was top notch,
That barn sure looks good for getting out of the rain.
Thanks for sharing Andy.
Jered’s old mack keeps going. Well the peterbilt is down again.
Thank you for the videos from the chopper this year🌱🍀🌱🍀Great job👍

Corn looks real nice👍🚜
The old 1 stack mack still rolling along. Another good one. Even without the jaw jacking, thanks for sharing
Love your family work ethic.
Alex is nailing it
like watching paint dry when we don't get any jaw-jackin Andy!
Hi Mr. Andy !
Good job big daddy this is rolling very well for your team !
Thanks for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
glad u built those new bunks thanks
That camera in the top left corner of the cab is a really good spot you got some awesome shots in this one
Intense!! Good job, right down Andy's alley. Just the way he likes it. Well planned, well done.
Andy! I believe it's time for a Livestream. Thanks for the entertainment. Cheers from Portugal.
Hey Andy you're bouncing up and down pretty good in that lot!!!!
Andy great job you have good drivers they were to wait for you for next win row tobe pick up 👍🚜
I remember that day. Another good one 👍🏻
Ain't nothing like rolling farmland in crops, they look so good at harvest time, lines and hills
The no till corn into the hay field looks really nice. Will be interesting to see if the yield is good too. Lots of time and fuel saved from ripping up the hay field if you can just seed directly into the hay fields.
The Pete will now be on its road out Andy?
Andy is kicking arse!
Why don’t you tell ‘em go on get !
Great video ANDY. Everyone working together very nicely.
Mack & the chequered history Aulick earning their keep ~
Good job Alex nice to see you
I remember that little field I think from a corn chopping live stream
Wondering, who in your employ would you trust to run the chopper in your stead?
Keep up the good work ❤
JIM 🤔
Andrew junior if Andy broke his leg today Andrew Jr would hop in and run that like he's done it for years.
@@Otherrandomguy42 Jerrod m I think
I believe he said Jered, Sarah or his father in a video in the past year or two.
@@richardradawetz8788 Jerrod will never chop he's a truck guy.
Hi Andrew i am watching this on Wednesday 21 st of August 2024.
Davey is making the Mack talk a little bit. :)
Great show Andy.
Hey Andy looks like you have a drivers side headlight out on the western star just a heads up
Great as always Andy. When will you start chopping corn? 😊
When it’s ready
Good video but definitely miss the commentary. Get Charlie to ride along and do the yakking 🥸😎😎

Looks like you have to stay in sink with Alex cause she is probably your best driver from what I see

That’s from catching branches on the back roads
8:23 to 17:39, well orchestrated. Dad knows what Alex is going to do; Alex knows what dad will do. Trust.
How do you know when the knives need sharpening? Or do you just do it daily? How many times can they be sharpened? Thanks, I appreciate what you share about farming.
Sharpen just about daily

More talking please. I am falling asleep here. 😆
Love your content….please turn on captioning for those of us who spent tooo much time on tractors with no muffler
Andy hopefully the pete stays moving .
Hey Andy press the bouton traduction , merci man .
with you being lite on corn for the next few years is hay going to be enough or will you have to find some corn to chop from other farms to cover your corn needs
It’s going to be tough
You should slap that vid of JRod Chatting with ol Joe in sometime, maybe a little tease in with a vid chopping corn, name it special
You need to do a video on that hino with the utility box
Man what’s up with that Pete..🤯 Do you still have the truck Tim used to drive c500 i believe? Haven’t seen it lately in any videos ..
Yes we still have it
If you had a large Clark or John deer with 800hp same size wind rows would it handle it going faster or not of course if u wanted too.?
Not sure
Could you explain your method of field layout when you pull in with chopper and trucks, getting in getting out of field.
We usually enter in through the driveway and exit out through the same driveway
Time to find someplace else to work on Peterbilt
Of course if only an intermittent problem, It can be very difficult to find the origin of the problem.
Hey Andy, what do you use the straw for since you bed with sand. As always, another great video! Keep em coming...
Box stalls and calf hutches
Hope your happy with the repairs you did on the chopper? Sounded pretty strong! This was 3rd cutting? Wind rows looked really big. That's good. Could you tell tell the difference in how this was going with the chopper?
We can see yield numbers from monitor as far as performance with the mechanicals of choppers it was very good
Andy great video but I'm not a fan of the silent treatment 😂
Hi Andy
Is there much difference between the cuttings in volume or in nutrients?
2nd and 3rd this year were identical
@2:05 Padiddle !!!
Your dad want to drive the peterbuilt anymore ?
spoiler: the white Pete only lasted the first 2 minutes 😂
What does a truck weigh fully loaded?
Depends on the truck
You need to do a video on the hino
👍👍🍻💪🗽
Dose someone still live in that house where you just parked the chopper.
Yeah
👍
Wen r u going to show us your new crane truck
I thought you were done with that truck??
👍👍👍🏿👍🏿
Andy, a number of videos back I had the impression you were showing interest in a brand new chopper. Are you still considering that?
Not at this time
What's your tonnage run on an average day?
Approximately how many ton do you carry with the truck trailer units ?
Probably about 24-25 tons in alfalfa be slightly more with corn silage.
Hi Andy. Have you had any drone demoes yet.4 or 5 Yt farmers have tried them out on corn and soy beans and seemed to like the coverage. The trailers these guys are using all looked slapped together. How many engine hours on chopper and do you plan on getting a new one in the near future?
4,000
Hello!
No commentary makes for a boring video.
Isn't a Peterbilt just a Fucking Old Rebuilt Kenworth?
Not exactly but ever since Paccar bought out Peterbilt and Kenworth they're not near as good as they used to be, might as well buy a Freightliner, although the T -800 KW still seems ok with a DD 16 in it.
@@Otherrandomguy42t 800 can only get Cummins or paccar
@@richardradawetz8788 nope you can out in whatever you want. Buddy of mine has two T800s with dd16s in them 😂😂
