Good motor and trans , he did replace the trans 2 years before he sold it . Stay safe , have fun. I must of got a good one .

The trims on the passenger side door left and drivers seat trim has passed away (too much gas mabe) time for plugs and coils. But besides that it's great so I'll dump about 5000.00 in it and keep going cause that's cheaper than a new break down special.
After seeing the end result in the video, I noticed what I figured would be the result... The drivers side mount moves more than the passenger side... Why, because it's 160,000 mile tired... I would have replaced all three, along with the grommet on the transmission... That van should last another 100,000 miles...
I've replaced a few mounts like these in my time. One thing I learned is to replace them all at the same time. Sure enough that one you left will go bad in the next 6 months.
Great repair video! Especially liked the exhaust analysis, it seems like these companies would want to do things properly, but it's like nobody actually cares. Greed will absolutely ruin everything!
Ray you really need to get that third lift back in order edit: also my Grandma always told me "If you do not learn something new everyday your day was wasted."
I believe he has to go through the building's owner regarding the lift, I thought I heard him mention that before. You do make a strong point though, it's putting a dent in the shop's throughput. If they can't use all the lifts, the space isn't at it's most efficient
Talking to my mechanic the other day when I took it in to get the lug nuts changed out because they are the ones that are not solid and the caps were all separating and falling off. I said something that all the mechanics should join together and complain to the engineers about using better parts that are not cheap.
Parts suppliers >> you asked how they do it, do they build the retooling stuff to make it or what? I think it's kinda like a can of green beans ; The "Company" handles the produce, cans it, and slaps the label. They the dregs are labeled as "Walmart" or the offbrand store variety. I think some of this happens in "parts" for stuff we need? Sorry I simplified it so much.... it's all I could understand & I'm glad you are out there to help us dummies. peace
Done mounts on 3 different brands of cars. On the Ford I had to get both an impact extension and socket to loosen the bolts. Regular chromoly broke taking the one under the battery tray.
I hand a 2009 Dodge Caliber with that Nissan CVT transmission. The transmission fried on a 500 mile round trip. I limped it home and ended up replacing the tranny with a lower mileage used one. The reason the original unit died was because the heat exchanger filter was clogged, preventing proper fluid circulation. The transmission got extremely overheated and self destructed. All I would have had to do to prevent failure was to replace that filter at the same time as servicing the transmission. Live and learn. New stuff gets added to vehicles every day. Educate yourself and save mucho cashola.
G’day Ray congratulations on your marriage to Lauren she is lovely and wish you all the happiest for the future. When you got some tools out I couldn’t get over how many you need and have the best invention was the wretched spanners anyway interesting video as usual kind regards John

If these engine mounts are anything like filters, they have to be a slightly modified design to get around patents. There was a problem with PowerStroke 6.4 engines where the aftermarket oil filters were a slightly different size, causing problems with the bypass system iirc. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a similar thing with other components.
I never did like the 2nd and 3rd gin Pacifica they became just another minivan.. I had a 06 it had a3.0 v6 and it had what they called an auto-stick trans so when you moved the shifter over to manual mode it put the engine in performance mode. It surprised a lot of people.
I've got a fancy upper crust Chrysler Dodge product...I have 2017 jeep Renegade with 80k on it with the 1.4 turbo 6 speed manual it runs great and zero issues.. I love my jeep/Fiat/Dodge,/Chrysler/ Stellantis product!!!

I had been told by a repair shop that one engien mount was " leaking " . Today opened the hood of my 2020 Toyota Camry LE 2.5 , 4 cyclinder engine . Parking brake engaged , hood open and friend to put foot on brake and shift from drive to reverse three times each . I observed the engine move forward and back and to the sides . To me this says that all engine mounts need replacing . Now to try to determine if the transmission mounts needs replacing also .
For places like the stuck torque mount I have used a 2x4 cut to a suitable wedge shape and driven it between the two metal crossmembers to open up the space.
The exhaust hangar near the torque mount looks blown out too. Not sure how important it is to be fully functioning. - edit: the way the two flows meet at a near head-on might be part of the compression computations.

Don’t let Ray kill himself on the job! 😃 You gotta watch out for each other out there!
Some after market companies usually get the OEM tooling or the OEM tooling data. When a factory or special tooling for wear items like that gets built by the OEM the OEM will eventually sell it to an aftermarket company and license or sell the tooling data once they no longer manufacture new vehicles with that part.
Honestly if the mounts are cost affective I'd replace the third mount, That way you know all the mounts are good. And when you checked the 2nd time the Driver's side engine mount did move a bit. Not to mention you did say the vehicle had 166,000 miles.

I replaced the coolant transfer on my 2013 200 touring, used some 3M Windo-weld to reinforce the broken passenger side mount...rides like new
Excellent job, as always.
Come on Ray, wasn’t that a beach boy song you know good vibrations you know the words peace out take care, brother
Welcoming back!
The force is strong with justin, knows when there's no power he does
I've replaced a few mounts like these in my time. One thing I learned is to replace them all at the same time. Sure enough that one you left will go bad in the next 6 months.
corvette got fixed cool😊.
Well.moved anyway
I didn’t know that about the floor Jack.👍
Great repair video! Especially liked the exhaust analysis, it seems like these companies would want to do things properly, but it's like nobody actually cares. Greed will absolutely ruin everything!
Ray you really need to get that third lift back in order
edit:
also my Grandma always told me "If you do not learn something new everyday your day was wasted."
If he keeps running 🏃 Chrysler products in there...soon...very soon.
I believe he has to go through the building's owner regarding the lift, I thought I heard him mention that before. You do make a strong point though, it's putting a dent in the shop's throughput. If they can't use all the lifts, the space isn't at it's most efficient
The related saying I grew up with is "If you're done learning, you're done living."
I think ther was a comment awhile back the part was on backorder? ....or maybe it got stuck on a slow boat from China.
Good stuff Ray. Banners are nice. American flag would be nice. Learning stuff everyday at 70. Definitely gonna try the floor jack weeley
Great video on a repair you do not often see shown on You Tube.
I think it's kinda
like a can of green beans ; The "Company" handles the produce, cans it, and slaps the label. They the dregs are
labeled as "Walmart" or the offbrand store variety.
#4 Happy Saturday Ray!! Hope the little one heals quickly🤗
G’day Ray congratulations on your marriage to Lauren she is lovely and wish you all the happiest for the future. When you got some tools out I couldn’t get over how many you need and have the best invention was the wretched spanners anyway interesting video as usual kind regards John
Should do that exhaust bushing also.
Hope the you saw rhe exhaust hanger support was also checked
This right here is why i have no issue paying someone to do the things i CAN do but dont have time or the motivation. Thats too many things things for me to take off and keep up with. Well deserved money.
Always great videos Ray 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
If I only knew what I don't know that I used to know, I'd be a genius!
That muffler mount next to the rear mount looked bad too. All mounts bad! LOL
I never did like the 2nd and 3rd gin Pacifica they became just another minivan.. I had a 06 it had a3.0 v6 and it had what they called an auto-stick trans
so when you moved the shifter over to manual mode it put the engine in performance mode. It surprised a lot of people.
Sometimes broken mounts make you look at places that have hidden problems $$$
When are you coming to South Georgia please
I bet half of us were telling, "Noo Ray! It's a 21!" when you were on a hunt for another 19 during reassembly. 😅
Justin is lucky to have you as a teacher ans MASTER DAVE. Give him a good pneumatic tool for his great work! From Québec, "Land of corrosion".!
Good job Ray you’re the best
24:46 - those are not injection marks but ejection pin marks - they are used to eject the casted part out of the mold
Good day Ray and hi to the guys
I've got a fancy upper crust Chrysler Dodge product...I have 2017 jeep Renegade with 80k on it with the 1.4 turbo 6 speed manual it runs great and zero issues.. I love my jeep/Fiat/Dodge,/Chrysler/ Stellantis product!!!
8:40 notice the left “fog” light fading in and out, issue or trick of the camera?
Justin needs a pair of dark shades, to do his best Ace Ventura, haha😅
We need more pry bar!!! (SNL referance)
Ray sir, i missed the episode where Justin came into the fold. Is he a relative or just a young man you hired. He's got two good teachers, you and Mr Dave so he will get a good eddukation. WORDS
19:20 “M’kay” Dude I loved that south park reference LOLL
I forgot to remember? I love it😂 Aussie Graham.
Freakin Chrysler s everywhere!! Tells me what not to buy. Thankyou Ray. Great content!!❤
Ray, when r yall gonna tear down that Tosi Van 3.6L Engine??? Waitin for that video my dude
Now to try to determine if the transmission mounts needs replacing also .
thx Ray
For places like the stuck torque mount I have used a 2x4 cut to a suitable wedge shape and driven it between the two metal crossmembers to open up the space.
The exhaust hangar near the torque mount looks blown out too.
Not sure how important it is to be fully functioning.

edit: the way the two flows meet at a near head-on might be part of the compression computations.
At work we say "If everything is high priority, nothing is high priority."
I now know who invented curse words, Mechanic's 😂🤣🤣.
Great video ray thanks
No need to apologise, excreta occurs .Congrats on the reffirmation , and I hope your son is feeling OK
One of those Hydraulic spreader jaws the Firefighters use to open jammed doors, would be very handy there.
There’d be a lot fewer wars and less violence if everyone had a loving spouse unit they respected. Like Lauren! 💙 Lucky Ray. 😅 That, and having employees that are actually useful, and not just the intellectual equivalent of packing peanuts, helps too! Hi Dave! Hi Justin!
The TX Valve regulates release of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator core. Not high pressure gas to low pressure gas. The Rankine Cycle
More Chrysler at Ray's shop then Chrysler has in the entire lineup of new product
Honestly if the mounts are cost affective I'd replace the third mount, That way you know all the mounts are good. And when you checked the 2nd time the Driver's side engine mount did move a bit. Not to mention you did say the vehicle had 166,000 miles.
They've tested that sort of thing on Engine Masters. Makes a big difference. (exhaust pipe complaint).
