I remember when we did this on the farm I worked on. I take Amish kids to school in the area I am from in Upper Dauphin County in PA, we have quite a bit of Amish from Lancaster PA living up here. We go by a few Amish farms and we seen one roasting soybeans this morning. You could definitely smell it the closer you got. My younger student though it was a fire a first from the white/gray smoke, but he knew then what it was. Thanks for sharing and the explanations of the videos you share. Always brings back my farming day memories. I also enjoy watching the Amish way of farming to our ways of farming.
There's something so peaceful and satisfying about watching traditional farming methods in action. This video was a breath of fresh air. Keep these coming! 🌾✨
I never knew that soybeans had to be roasted before consumption . I’m not a farmer obviously but soybeans sure add quite a bit of work to the process ! I guess if a cow escaped ,wondered off into a raw soybean field grazing it would probably kill him . I sure miss seeing the horses working in this video . However it’s still very interesting seeing the process through different stages of cultivation. The fields of planted crops are so beautiful from the air ,the drone is a great tool for filming the operation. Thanks so much Much Appreciated God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
Great video, I love seeing how non commercial farms process their crops. With all the harmful ingredients in the soy beans being roasted out are those savory fumes harmful?
@@LancoAmish yes, that is what I meant, trypysn inhibitors I think you said. Would it effect the heard animals when airborne during roasting. Also loved what appeared to be the seamless meshing of Amish and non-Amish to get the harvesting done and the product roasted and stored
@@jamesducey2685 , If you don’t want to view my videos because I use upper case that is fine. I don’t ask viewers to support me financially and don’t have sponsors. I don’t think most viewers, including you, have a clue as to the number of hours it takes to edit and make good content nor have a clue as to the overhead costs. If TH-cam recommends to me to use capitals in “inappropriate” places to make my thumbnails and titles stand out a bit so more people view my videos I am going to do that. Other websites you cite as using upper and lower case properly do not have the same type of business model as TH-cam. @@jamesducey2685 , my reasoning? Do you have any idea how many hours go into making these videos? I guess you watching for free isn’t enough and now you get upset because of how I title the videos? Great video and very informative

@@Dave17101 , what harmful ingredients? When I’m speaking of harmful it is only to ruminants and then mostly if they’ve been fed urea.

your problem, watching too much left media

whats the moisture measurement after roasting what was the number right out of the field?

Are they going to bale the soybean stalks, I see they are windrowing them ?
@@larryesmith5060 , yes they were baled and used for bedding. Thanks for watching and asking! Much appreciated.
Look at so many primary online sites. They know what to conveyreg regarding letter case and do not use some twist for pennies.

Please do not "yell" at us by using so many all upper case words. Mixed case is just fine and much nicer.
If you knew what kind of titles generate views you would understand. Mixed upper and lower case generates more attention. Thanks for watching.
How sad. Your reasoning is what I will not watch again. Learn standards of presentation instead of the focus on more clicks.
