  • Cleaning and degreasing my Land Cruiser's dirty transmission and engine bay and making them look brand new! Today I completely degrease the filthy transmission and get it literally spotless using Super Clean degreaser and aerosol spray. This stuff works great for deep cleaning auto parts including engines, transmissions, axles, engine bays, etc and will melt off all the grease and grime! Now I can service this transmission, fix the leaks, and install low range gears in the transfer case without being covered in oil, grease, and grime! @SuperEasySuperFast

read my long comment...if it were not for some crappy shop work half a decade ago i,d have had no issues...and surely no oily engine anymore sicne mine was cleaned ( by myself! costs less than 10 bucks, no deinstall! ) and then got a new ventile head gasket....but be sure to seal the iron heads soon after the diesel/kerosene steamed offf.....bcs it starts to rust....
degreaser...tried this before, becomes a whitish messy soapy nightmare and ruins the plastics and neoprene...just throw some Aldi/ food store pallet cardboard ( for free, they hate to pay for the deposit of cardboards at the food chains) and one liter of kerosene...and old spray bottöe from some cleaner( empty...just to make sure for the "specialists" ) and 1-2 hours on a sunny afternoin in your driveway...ir even on the street! ...at the nd you fold the cardborad with the gunk and all the plastic rools for cheap and stuff th bundle to the burning trash...🤷‍♀️nonpollution of your yard, and costs around 10 bucks for a complete engine bay! no issue for any parts there, no corrosion and "clean" with a shiny oily surface, as good as you wipe it...use some gloves ( nitrile or latex, both dissolve soon, so use several) ...or sou need jkerosene or gasoline to clean your skin! you need some anyways...🤣

well, all the electronics no will have issues after a pressure wash anyways...he will learn about it as we all did...bcs i assume we all learnt idiotic ways to clean engines from some " experts". . .the issue is the source where the oil comes from and 30 yrs of zero approach to stop the leaking is bad enough....no kechnaik wanted to seal my engine heads( ventile head) till i payed wY too much for it,..but it was tight and dry for 5 yrs now! 🤷‍♀️wanted it done from the first day i had bought it...nope, they say itls "normal" ! 80% of all car engines leak! even new ones! ...

at least he does not claim to repair anytjing with electrolysis or cooking methods in degreaser soup....all those methods are idiotic and ruin parts, his solution is agressive but better...best resluts you get with an old spray bottle from some window cleaner, fill iit with kerosene or Diesel....put some plastic and heavy card board under the engine,,,.spray the gunk and crape and brush it off with some stiff platsic toilet brush or sink brush or the like....the engine should not be dried out ir become wet at all, we only remove the gunk...and for that we use some heavy solvent without any fire hazzard....use gloves( latex or nitril) ...1 -2 hours for a whole engine compartement🤷‍♀️doens,t harm plastics or rubber/ neoprene at all....leaves the old shiny metal appearance of an ( almost) newly assembled engine...
many use oven cleaner and like he does wheel cleaner....wouldn,t do tthat as engines nowadays have lots of sensors and electric parts on it....and NEVER. use a brass brush on aluminium,,,.just get some discount 1,-/ pc, plastic brushes for whatever,.....and it really goes off well, then a lot pf kitchen papaer or shop cleaning paper....or old fabric scraps....and at the end all rolled up into the plastic/ big trash bag....off to the trash for burning without any pressure washer, no pollution to the groundwater or your yard,,,,it.s horrible how many oressure wash the engines in their garden! and wash some soup from detergent and solvents mixed with heavy metals and old oil and rust simply into the ground! for what? kerosene for lamps, one liter...3-5 bucks? a plastic scraper amd a brush.some gloves...makes mostly 10 bucks, and you get cardboard from Aldi for free, a trash bag or old plastic...cents! 🤷‍♀️and basically all around stays mostly clean! i did dis several times just in bikini and sandals and left the engine in my car...after the third time and chnaging the head gaskets to get the engine tight my car.s engine bay looks like now on a 1995 convert! my mechanik loves my car! the cost were minimal...4 th year i had nothing to clean anymore as she was dry and started to rust on the cylinder heads, bought 2 cheapest discout engine silver spray and picked up a pack of elswise trashed adverts paper ...costs ? 10 bucks again! ? 🤷‍♀️2 hours later my engine was silver, , stays rust free for 4-5 yrs now, same goes for the chassy....but we now fill all ridges and gadgets with heavy duty greasy ....once a year clean and spray the seams on the sheet metal parts on the underside...check on some simple places( never told in manuals) for greasing the hand shift and if the mechanic 6 yrs ago would have messed up the belt set job whixh sprung over this winter after just 60.000 km...( so basically just 2/3-1/2 of the official life! ) i.d haven,t had any issues that cost me 2 k extra...my new one switches some parts like suspension or tires or bearings every secomd or 3 rd year and my engine just gets new oil and filters...plugs ince in a while and runs like crazy....no gunk and no oil and nothing anywhere! AND NO DEGREASER ON ANY ENGINE !
