completely seized lister diesel engine - First run

lister LD1 Diesel engine - First run in 20+ years.
This engine was rusted solid, I then dismantled the top half of the engine and left the piston to soak in a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone for 4 days
the valves were then un-seized and lapped into the head.

It takes a long time to create that much clutter. First move the engine to someplace with enough room around it to easily get to the pieces. Let the oil soak for a day or a week. Never use a pipe wrench on a machined surface,.
