This is a crossover I personally don't ever want to happen. I just don't think Nintendo's aesthetic is a good match for Capcom's style. Certain Capcom characters do fit, and I'm okay with them showing up in Smash, but seeing a company primarily known for their family friendly characters alongside a company where most of their most beloved characters aren't just doesn't work for me. Morrigan and Resident Evil monsters just don't meld well with Mario and Inklings.
I can understand this perspective, striking a proper tonal balance is important for a game like this. I do think though that there’s some appeal in the “kitchen sink” approach, where everything is just thrown in and the fact that it’s so aesthetically idiosyncratic becomes the aesthetic, but I can understand why there’s some hesitancy when you’ve got characters in here that in their home games can decapitate you….. and they’re gonna fight Mario and Kirby. I don’t really have a problem with it but I’m not gonna be critical if it raises some eyebrows.
I would personally swap Skull Kid for Midna. Skull Kid has very different variations and that Midna has a great deal of potential as a blend of a zoner and a grappler character. Also; I’d include Zangief, just because the poster of him staring down with Donkey Kong would tell you everything you need to know. Especially with the idea of DK to be a Grappler.
I could see them including stuff like Sidon, Raven Beak, and even Zack and wiki, but yeah a lot of the big swings here are maybe a little too big for reality 😂

It ended with the story unfinished, and the third game got cancelled, so that’s depressing. Never even a remake or remaster. The series is dead, and it will forever be left incomplete, just like Sly Cooper.

I would suggest six DLC characters; three from each company. From Nintendo, we'd have Luigi, Meowth, and Ayumi Tachibana from the Famicom Detective Club series. From Capcom, we'd have Ken, Jon Talbain, and Dr. Wily.
Nintendo vs. Capcom somehow would be lame. Considering Nintendo won't letting much "violence" stuff, they would handle too much ended up censoring lots of thing as a result. Sega vs. Capcom is what pretty much I want.

I was really into Smash character speculation for a long time (more than actually playing the games to be honest) so now that Ultimate is done, I guess I've gotta make up my own games to speculate about. The fact that Thorgi's Arcade had already kinda made a blueprint for how videos like this should work was also helpful.

Just to have a neutral ground. Also, when it comes to a fight video game, that is a tournament, here's what I want, I want to know, who what when where why tournament, and not just, fighting because, it's really cool. As much as I love fan service, I need a excuse, for these characters to want to fight each other. I like knowing, who are you, and why are you here. I would like to know, what is this tournament all about, and etcetera. Ehh, I've seen a lot of suggestions like this floating around where you take two companies that have done one of these before and mash them together. Tatsunoku Vs. DC or Marvel might be interesting because that's Manga vs. American comics, but like Mortal Kombat vs. Marvel? SNK vs. DC? I just don't really see a way to make that interesting (not saying it's not possible but I don't think I personally would be able to find a good enough idea for a video). Nintendo vs. Capcom is an exception because I think it would be interesting to see Nintendo characters in a traditional fighting game center and I also had a lot of out-there picks that I wanted to put in, but this vid is more of the exception than the rule. Trust me, the next roster vid I've got cooking up is gonna be a lot cooler lol (if you're a fan of the community it's targeted at, idk how my subscribers are gonna react to it.).
