There's a special version of The Witch that only plays in The Passing campaign when the bride Witch spawns at the abandoned wedding ceremony. Should be able to find it by searching 'Bride Witch.'
That'd be good in one of his videos along with his reactions to other special infected music (when they're around, which are very short jingles) and the attack music (like asphyxiation).
Yes I remember that chapter named The Passing, my first time to saw a Witch wearing a Wedding Dress during the Infection also you can find Francis, Louis and Zoey in that chapter and also you can find Bill's Corpse in the ending in the building with the Generator near the Bridge
Damn near criminal he listened to One Bad Tank and Midnight Tank BEFORE listening to One Bad Man and Midnight Rider! Definitely needs to listen to those WITH the tank themes!
A little bit of lore about the midnight riders was that they actually faked most of their live concerts by having a music setup onstage but was hidden behind closed curtains, literally. This could have been that they got too old or they simply played their songs once recorded the right one and just kept playing the same song everywhere they performed.
2:11 One bad tank: mixed between "One bad man" by Midnight Rider (this band mostly like Gorillaz) and a normal "Tank" theme 3:52 Midnight Tank: once again,a mixed version of "Midnight Rider" and "Tank". (Spoiler ahead)This soundtrack and "One bad Tank" happen during chapter 5 of Dark Cannival when you have to play Midnight Rider song and light system loud and bright enough to signal the helicopter. 7:08 welll...this soundtrack? You just doomed 8:01 welcome to the save room 8:16 happen when you playing game during chapter 4 of Dark Cannival 9:20 (Spoiler ahead) this soundtrack happen in The Last stand when you signal the light house. While you wait for the boat come for the rescue, there's three tanks ram into you and that's when this soundtrack start Love to see you do some more Left 4 Dead content,my guy
the best part about midnight tank and one bad tank is that in the gane, the finale is a rock concert with a fake band called the Midnight Riders they start up the music and pyrotechnics to alert a chopper they saw earlier in the campaign and, after about halfway through each song, being Midnight Ride and One Bad Man, it transitions into the 'tank versions' of those songs
when he says hes knocking on your door... its so insightful, because thats the music in the game that plays when you die, knowing this... its kinda like knocking on deaths door 😂 love this guy
I've never played a game that translates what's happening to the player through music and sound bits better than Left 4 Dead. It's honestly quite impressive how every situation in the game has its own "soundtrack" such is the case with "I am so cold", it plays whenever you're downed and close to dying. Pretty cool imo
not only that but you have alot of different songs for different Stages of the same thing, VALVE and capcom in my opnion are the companys that have the better sound design in the industry, take a look at the smoker attack, before the smoker attacks you you hear its jingle when it spawns, you can hear its sound the smoke the coffing, then he puts the tongue you hear the tongue sound effects very clearly, once the tongue hits you, the soundtrack of the smoker attack Starts, and during this part, as long as its pushing you closer to the smoker it keeps the same soundtrack only when you Stop or you reach the END of the push it turns in to the next smoker soundtrack, so you have more than one soundtrack for the same thing, in this case of the smoker, you have the pushing part and the final part, (or more if you count the small sound effects before it) and everything is like that its so great.
don't know how I didn't realize sooner that the theme of this game is blues rock so thank you for pointing it out and as a guy who loves symphonic metal I love how you broke down how to properly mix them together and the 2 ways it usually goes, it was fun to hear about!
5:43 Yeh. I think it's because the game (compared to Left 4 Dead 1) is faster and more chaotic, it has more zombies, more special zombies and a more advanced director AI. So they're trying to make the gameplay fit with the new soundtrack.
I really, really, really like on how LionMight explains to us his opinion on every single music that the supporters suggested. Loving the content so much
I love when you talked about the unusual chord in One Bad Tank, it's a very eerie and unsettling song on it's own, the drum rhythm is completely different to One Bad Man, instead the drums are on the same rhythm of the Tank's arms hitting the ground as it's running, the guitar is very off and hits some very disturbing chords too. The entire song gives a very "off" vibe compared to Midnight Tank.
the "i am so cold" is your character is incapacitated and dying. ive never heard it though in such detail without impact noises or gun fire, its all disturbingly tingly at the end
it's interesting that you mention slightly preferring L4D1's music over L4D2's, i have my L4D2 game modded to put the old music back in as i think it's more fitting in many cases.
I love the piano hammering sound in l4d2 for some reason. That I am so cold plays when you're nearly dead from bleeding out on the ground. If you're not being kicked and ripped apart by zombies you'll survive long enough to hear the static in the end. The hammering invokes the feeling of your final heartbeats, to me.
Came back to this after a while with another comment; "I'm So Cold" plays when a survivor is incapacitated and on the verge of dying if they aren't revived immedietly. The second bit of it (After the slamming noises) plays when the survivor dies.
I believe One Bad Tank is a play on how the song that plays during the Dark Carnival finale is One Bad Man as well as Midnight Tank and Midnight Rider.
hey, man, I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore your work and video reactions, especially on favourite games. I know there's people out there who'll complain about the pausing of videos or your take on the themes with your instrument. the point of this is that you are reacting to this video, not just listening to it. and I love your take on the music too when you remix it with your instrument (sorry, I'm not brilliant with all the instrument names). never let these people get you down because your work is incredible. I look forward to seeing your next reactions.
I’m going to tell you this.. that “Metal Tank theme” at 9:08 is by far the best fan song I’ve ever heard in my life, I used a mod for Left 4 Dead 2 that switched to that version.. if you ever do another reaction video of Left 4 Dead 2 song, I would recommend listening to their version of “Skin on Our Teeth” trust me you’re gonna love it
Fun fact: original tank theme was used when there's 1 tank to fight, but the metalized tank was used when the survivors had to fight 2-3 tanks making it more of an epic fight
The memories of hours upon hours in this game! These particular tracks are from the finale of the second chapter of the game where you try to survive waves of zombies within a concert stadium. They are trying to get the attention of a helicopter with all the noise and firework show that the concert music is playing. A lot of the time this music signals to the player that a Tank is spawning and is a warning.
One bad tank straight up like when I make my dad snap out and midnight tank feels like a trailer of a movie and metalized tank feels like end of the world
The metallized tank plays during "The Last Stand" campaign. Originally a survival map, which implied it was the end of the road with nowhere else for the survivors to go, it was turned into a 3 map campaign. In the finale of the campaign (The "Hold the line" and "Get to the escape vehicle" parts of the final map), not only does it spawn 2 tanks, but you also have an objective to complete at the same time. The oppressive nature of the metal version really fits it well. You're not meant to survive this, but damn it you have to try anyway.
You should take a listen to all the theme song for the special infected(you already heard the tank and witch) Charger-Mortification Hunter-Externation Spitter-Enzymicide Smoker-Asphyxiation Jockey-Vassalation Boomer-Pukricide
I love how you were like "I miss the light motif" and the next song immediately gave you what you were asking for. I love seeing you react to the L4D tracks, that game took up so much of my high school years lol
For Lionmights (or any other non-L4D2 players) context All the rock tracks are played on a specfic final, where the survivor group is in a carnavels abandoned rock band concert, so to get the attention of an escape heli, they trigger the "practice autoplay" of the concert so all the fancy fireworks and stuff go off to get the attention of the heli Im so cold is another "two part song", where the first half is used in one place, while the last bit is sued in another, first half is the background audio used for when you get downed, second half is when the whole team goes downed or dead
i swear its one of the most underated part in cod sure gameplay and multiplayer was cool but the music carries heavily on some missions like turning a 8 to an 11
There is a remix version of all the Special Infected theme made by Vandoorea. And let me tell ya. The guy turn the Special Infected theme from orchestra to Dark Souls. Especially the Tank and Witch.
Hi Man. I recently came across your channel and saw your reactions to the compositions of the game series "L4D1-2" and I really liked it. I see you are very knowledgeable about music and it would be interesting to see your reaction to a game like «Prototype». OST compositions are on the TH-cam you can check them out especially these two "In the Web" "A New Order".
I would love to hear him react to the spawn music for each of the special infected. Although they are very short it really sets the tone and fear of the infected
There’s a fictional band called Midnight Riders with a few songs that play in-game. I haven’t seen anyone get a copyright strike for it yet. You should totally check out their 4 songs. Midnight Ride, One Bad Man, Save Me Some Sugar, and I think there’s a Christmas themed one (with a funny backstory)
@@LionmightOfficial Oh really? I’m genuinely surprised those have copyright claims. I’ve never seen anyone else get a claim for those songs from a fictional band
Have you listened/reacted to any of the tracks from HADES yet? They set the mood so well with whatever youre doing; my favorite way ive seen the OST described is "DOOM but Greek" xD Just a few to start, I'd recommend: "No Escape," "Out of Tartarus," "From Olympus," "Lament of Orpheus," and "The Bloodless"
You could also probably do most of a video, if not an entire one, on the track "Good Riddance"; it's done solo by Orpheus and by Eurydice, and then as a duet by the two of them. The vibes and what you feel when you're listening is totally different each time.

Midnight Tank - From Dark Carnival, a combination of Midnight Ride and the TANK! Theme. Plays for the first tank encountered. Midnight Ride is also by the in-universe band, Midnight Riders. I Am So Cold - Plays in game whole incapacitated and at low health. You are going to die if not revived within 5 seconds or so. The Monsters Without - Plays upon reaching a saferoom. This version is for Left 4 Dead 2, designed to feel more in-line with being in the South of the U.S. WAM - Also from Dark Carnival, from the Stache Whacker minigame. You hit moustachio (moustached pistachoes) heads, and gain points. 42 points breaks the machine and summons a horde. Can you PLEASE check out Entropy Zero 2's OST, Preferably the tracks "Problems of The Mind", "Extraterrestrial Incursion", "Transmission Shift", "Infiltration" and "Escalation Pt. 2". Thanks in advance, have a great rest of your day!
the Metalized TANK theme has such an interesting detail in the instruments.. each actually giving a different emotion. the Guitar that plays the main melody 'dun-da-dun' evoking the pure FEAR factor the shredding guitar in the background emphasizing what you're up against, the STRENGTH of the Tank the drums being so quick, such a panic "fight or flight?!" whatever you do.. decide NOW then the original orchestra.. keeping the dread factor of it all, there is no hope, especially with this metallic behemoth on your tail
Metalized tank was one of the first pieces of music I looked up for Left 4 Dead a long time ago, and was really hoping it would be here, and sure enough it is. I absolutely love the metalized tank music so much as it makes things so much more intense and epic, that and it actually shows up in game I believe at the end of one of the campaigns. Valve, you might not be able to count to 3, but you have the Source 2 Engine now, please remake Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 in the Source 2 Engine! Much higher quality textures and assets would be amazing, make it seem like a Left 4 Dead 3 but it would just be the same 2 games but remade in much higher quality, and maybe even be able to get rid of the chapters in each Campaigns in place for checkpoints at the safe houses as the map size limitations would also be greatly increased.
7:08 is the music that plays when you're on the brink of death; 2nd track plays when all of your team has been wiped out and you have to restart the chapter. this is the only song i think you should probably have context for
@@Sparky_STL to be honest it would probably be best for there not to be a third, I don’t know if they would be able to top this and it would probably end up disappointing some
In honor of the 25th anniversary (and the remasters coming out this very December, aah!) -- give us a review of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver's OST. I suggest the classic "Ozar Midrashim/Raziel's Theme", the "Silenced Cathedral", "the Ruined City, the "Sunlight Glyph" Honorary mention, Soul Reaver 2's OST music! Such as "The Pillars" and "Ariel's Lament" ❤
Would you consider doing the Dead Island soundtrack? I know the games aren't seen in the best light, but there's something about it's soundtrack and the emotions that it makes me feel. I'd love to hear your input on it.
There's a special version of The Witch that only plays in The Passing campaign when the bride Witch spawns at the abandoned wedding ceremony. Should be able to find it by searching 'Bride Witch.'

I'd love to hear him review this one th-cam.com/video/V8kdtxPvCCE/w-d-xo.html cod world at war is my personal favorite depiction of war.
6:54 Counting down to new year be like
Metalized tank was one of the first pieces of music I looked up for Left 4 Dead a long time ago, and was really hoping it would be here, and sure enough it is.
I’d recommend listening to each separate campaigns main theme
You should react to the L4d Cinematics by valve they blend Music and a story perfectly
You should do the “the saints will never come” it’s a left 4 dead cover of “when the saints go marching in”
Watch all my L4D videos.
Re your brain by Jonathan coultan was a jukebox song you could choose to play in the jukebox in the swamp map of L4D2
Please listen "postal" OST from " a fall to break"
Finally another Postal fan tbh I would like to see how he reacts to the Postal Redux soundtrack with songs like Cold Iron and Shotgun Catastrophe
@@BarneyCalhounlover "gone postal" "the meaning" my beloved
@@BarneyCalhounlover :3
7:08 is the music that plays when you're on the brink of death; 2nd track plays when all of your team has been wiped out and you have to restart the chapter. this is the only song i think you should probably have context for
Can I sign your petition
Just in case, the ‘I Am So Cold’ theme is playing when your down and your literally about to die.
Speaking of Hans Zimmer he also created the sound tracks for a game called Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2009)
PLEASE I NEED UR REACTION TO THE DOOM SOUNDTRACK. which one you may ask? EVERY SINGLE ONE
No joke, i have literally 1000 hours on both Left 4 dead 1 and 2. Love these games and also the songs.
7:44 you're really close. The one knocking is you, and it's death's door
ive been waiting for thiiiis
Left for dead 1 takes place in the city Pennsylvania while left for dead 2 takes place in the south Louisiana New Orleans
Bully the escolarpchip edition
You gotta listen to Left 4 Dead 2 “Skin on our teeth” I think he only did the L4d1 theme
All this time I thought those were just concert songs, turned out they used the original l4d song but in different genre woww
The comment you made on Valve's 3's has me dying.
6:16 exactly! GIVE US #3!!!!!
@@Sparky_STL to be honest it would probably be best for there not to be a third, I don’t know if they would be able to top this and it would probably end up disappointing some
Another day, another Lionmight W
Haha omg he made a 3 joke as a cherry on top of this review of the L4D tracks. Legend
I still highly recommend the Hunter Pounced theme, the Jockey riding theme and left 4 death :3 those are the best songs
6:13 bro he knows what he's talking about 😢
Every single upload form here on out. You’re going to see me saying something like “the deep calls for you loinmight.”
🎉 soon it will be time for Midnight riders reaction
In honor of the 25th anniversary (and the remasters coming out this very December, aah!) -- give us a review of the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver's OST.
I suggest the classic "Ozar Midrashim/Raziel's Theme", the "Silenced Cathedral", "the Ruined City, the "Sunlight Glyph"
Honorary mention, Soul Reaver 2's OST music! Such as "The Pillars" and "Ariel's Lament" ❤
The trailer intro song slaps, highly recommend it.
Madness combat
Would you consider doing the Dead Island soundtrack? I know the games aren't seen in the best light, but there's something about it's soundtrack and the emotions that it makes me feel. I'd love to hear your input on it.
4:03 : 🫵😧
7:15 : Expert Realism
I would recommend checking out the soundtracks from Destiny 1 and 2! “Deep stone lullaby” was a particular favourite of many people 😁 great content
Can’t wait for him to check out The banner saga soundtrack!
