AVID is the brand of portable air compressor I have & like. It operates on it's own 20V Li Ion Rechargeable battery or its 12V cigarette lighter adapter. I replaced it nozzle with the AstroA1 brand of quick connect/disconnect nozzle which are available on amazon. Yes, I then had to go to the hardware store to find a 1/4" Male NPT adapter for 3/16" Inside Diameter hose.
@@orbitaaltube Yes. The AstroA1 hose nozzle has 2 teeth that clamp onto the valve stem. And I won't have replace the rubber insert that periodically needed to be replaced in the old style of hose connector that came with the air compressor.
That's a pity the ones I have are fine. They were ordered through eBay at this link below. Bought two and they are junk. Will not push the valve down enough to inflate.
