      Hi Bob, Sorry, we just saw your question now! You can certainly use them if you’d like. We still use our blocks underneath. This way we don’t have to extend the jacks too far. We just installed the X-Brace from MORryde for scissor jacks and it helps tremendously with the stabilization. We just put out the install video if you are interested.

      @Over The Hill Adventures We haven't yet got a 2500RL but planning on to by this time next year. Your videos are so helpful when it comes to setting up, organizing and accessories. We are planning on doing a lot of boondocking due to the high cost of RV hook ups.

      @Over The Hill Adventures Wow didn't know there were Grand Design rallies. I have a friend of mine on messenger that him and his wife are retired. They live in a 36 foot fifth wheel full time and boondock majority of the year. I've been asking him for advice and tricks of the trade on boondocking for long periods of time. From generators to water bladders. He's powering the fifth wheel with solar panels and using the generator as a backup in case of adverse weather conditions. He also hangs out in the Quartzsite area.

    • @OverTheHillAdventures
      @OverTheHillAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I should call SnapPad I think they can help you determine what you need. Measure the metal foot pad. Also let them know what size of bolt. There are only two sizes for the SnapJacks. 2,500lbs and 5,000lbs if you have a big trailer most likely you have the 5,000lbs scissor jacks. Call them they will help you out. The wool also ask to send them a photo. Thanks for reaching out. Stan

    Unfortunately SnapPad are really bad at letting you know what is compatible, their trailer dropdown isn't accurate for compatibility. While mistakes happen, they have been super difficult at returning brand new product that never got installed because of their website. It clearly needs to be much clearer for newbie RV"s who don't know about different types of jacks.

    • @OverTheHillAdventures
      @OverTheHillAdventures  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry to hear that. When we ordered ours, we were told you either have 2,500 lbs scissor jacks or 5,000lbs. Confirm by bolt size. I would order from Amazon next time. Turn ins are so much easier.

    Totally unnecessary. They reduce ground clearance causing more leveler snags and can prematurely rust out your pads. But the poster is making a ton of money off this promotion, so of course they endorse them.

    • @OverTheHillAdventures
      @OverTheHillAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Rick, I appreciate your comment. However, the poster is not making a ton of money trust me. We do support SnapPad because we believe in their product. We do not have levelers. We have scissor jacks for the stabilization of our trailer. They are not used to level. On the big rigs SnapPad has been used on the leveler and have sold millions. During our beta test found the SnapJack worked really well. It does not sink into the asphalt like it did before. It does not sink into the grass like it did before and it does no leave a rust spot on the concrete of my RV garage. We appreciate and respect your opinion. Please respect our opinion. We love our SnapJacks. As you can tell we are a very very small TH-cam channel and the little money we make or any goes right back in cost of creating content. Our only reason for our channel is to encourage, inspire, folks to get active. We been waiting along time for theses SnapJacks but at the end, it is only our opinion. Thank you for joining us and May God bless you in your travels! Stan and Rhonda
