@@spimbles definitely not an actual hard counter but id argue mei has better options against moira than vice versa as mei can shut down flank attempts from moira pretty hard due to her tankiness compared to other dps and ability to block off moiras escape with a wall

7:40 the part about "leaning in qp" is simply for getting the basics down. You don't go into comp if you don't know what Ability 1 does on a character you never played. Get a feel for the hero in qp and then, once you feel like you know the basics, go into comp with it. That's literally what the game was doing with Kiriko btw.
good to see Dunmuir(the sigma tips guy) getting some recognition, he makes some good content and give good advice. I know him from Gundam Evolution, where he gives some good tips&tricks.

Bap does shine quite a bit as probably the best support for getting out of lower ranks faster than other supports if you’re good. At least in my opinion.
If you have no duo i see it. If you play kiriko with a hog duo or lucio with an anything duo you can literally control the tempo of your entire team
@@yuborthedominator687 Better be a tank Duo. Half the time I Kiriko ult as we push around the next corner, my Tank player stands around or backs up out of it. And yes, I typically throw a Suzu in the beginning and we are usually really good on health. Metal rank player BTW. I get the same feeling when a Rein gets nanoed, I speed amp him as Lucio but he'd rather charge halfway across the map, not canceling and wastes my CD and half the ult.
At least Bap you can put up a Amp next to your Duo partner and shred the enemy team with just you 2 if they are on DPS, particularly hit scan. I do think Bap is the best "healer" since he's hard to kill, shits out healing and can contribute a lot to damage in his own right further helping the health deficit. Kiriko can heal a ton, but unless you are getting head shots, she doesn't contribute much to a shield war, or a Rein swinging on your Rein. She's the better Support but I think Bap is the better "healer."

I've never been able to get my head around Winston. Even at low ranks I can see how useful he is even if I can't manage it.

I do agree with that girl talking about learning new heroes. I have the same problem playing tank and my support decided they're gonna go from maining Moira to trying to play ana or Lucio for the first time in a high elo lobby. I went into qp and learned how to play sigma a bit before going back into competitive where I wasn't letting my team mates down. Just drop your ego and go play qp if you're tryna learn a new hero
I think the tank ranking was done by a very new player, when you only jump into the practice range, Winston does seem pretty useless, taking about three mags to kill two training bots, still, they probably shouldn't be making a list then.

Literally about the first tiktok: I’ve been playing with some friends that just got into the game so I made a new account to play with them in lobster low, and one thing I’ve noticed about new players in general just the games that we’ve been playing is that they barely use Winston at all- to the point where I doubt if I’ve ever seen a Winston played in my 8 or so hours playing in lobster low

I've been saying that for ages any time people were bitching at me on my alt account which was literally at the same SR as my main, I just played a different hero pool that I wanted to learn, and constantly got "omg smurf account, you're clearly just here to stomp because you can't win on main"

Also, to her point, yes, if you only have 20 mins on Genji, please play him more in quick play to get familiar with his kit. That being said, you HAVE to play ranked with a hero to fully understand how they're utilized in an actual team comp

i love these series so much. i got my friend into overwatch recently so ive been helping him improove. im no top 500 or gm but i still give tips to my friends. he has sent me tiktoks of these fucked up tips and i told him how theyre wrong and i laughed at them. and then one day i see flats berading the same tiktoks ive been sent by my friend. it makes me happy that flats says mostly the same things. ofcourse his way of saying it is way more correct that how i said it but still being on the same directing with him feels like learning overwatch instead of grinding mechanics was worth it

He also plays a lot of gundam evolution and I haven’t watched him too recently but he was like top 17 in the game back when it was in the beta.

Now, I don't play Ranked but I play a single gamemode, I think the best gamemode for either new players, people who just want to play someone else (unless you get lucky), and/or people who just done care who they play (like me) is Mystery Heros.

I'm plat 1 on dps and tank now and i'm still wondering when wintons will become a problem. Winston always seems to be a free win if not paired up with a full dive comp.

Junk does such dogwater damage to armour that Dva doesn't even need to use the matrix tbh just fucking face tanking it is an option, not like feeding ult to him is a problem since it's the worst ult in the game

Before kiriko was in OWL bap was meta with Lucio, Lucio is no doubt number one and kiriko replaced bap, now he also said healer not support, so maybe he’s just saying bap has insane healing potential, which him and Moira have the highest healing potential so technically not wrong

Hey Flats, can you explain your feelings about Sigma's ult sometime? I'm a Sigma main and I agree that it's powerful, but you seem to really like it. Maybe I could learn something.
Deals strong damage, really long cc that pulls people out of cover, and gives him pretty good mobility, all of that on an aoe instead of a single target. It's like giving widow mercy movement and a team wide junkrat trap in the air
It shaves off a characters' health by half regardless where it is. Its a crowd control ultimate. You can use it for mobility for high ground. People can follow up on it to finish someone off. You can use it to pick someone off point if they're stalling. Best tank ultimate all around
