The irony of the first one was that we Supports weren't the ones crying over the lack of shields. It was certain DPS who had crap positioning and couldn't hide behind a shield while standing in the open and shooting anymore.

I worked in a lumber yard for some years and we had a large panel saw for cutting plywood. It was meant to help people get dimensional lumber into their vehicles but we wound up doing a lot of custom cuts for their projects. Had a dude come in and wanted some plywood cut to length to serve as the base for an aquarium he was buying. He gave me the measurements, I marked them, cut them, and he looked at it like "Uhh, I think that's a bit too big. So from the remaining plywood (he had to buy it all anyway) i was able to do another cut, slightly smaller. He still said it was too big. Finally I asked him how he measured the aquarium from the shop and he pulled out a string tape measure that the Aquarium store gave him. I pulled out my tape measure and ran it parallel to his, and his was a whole inch and a half off. $20 piece of plywood down the drain because somebody somewhere was like "How hard it is to make a tape measure from scratch really."
Will also be announcing to my teammates in voice how far away I am from them and everything else via Cassidy rolls.

I would like to see more supports that do debuffs to enemys almost all the supports we have are buffers or have a life saving mechanic. When I think of supports form other games I think of 3 categories: buffers, debuffers/cc , and livesavers( rez, cleanse, imminently).
Why I don't think we don't need CC since that bad in a gun game if not down right. But have. More debuggers should be nice since we have so many buffers but not that many debuffers to choose form

Technically, there are a lot of characters that could fit inside Reaper’s circle, but zen is a smaller character, which means that Zen is most likely going to be closer to reaper’s effective range than someone bigger like Hog if he’s inside Reaper’s circle reticle

As a support main myself, 5v5 feels so much better. Still rough sometimes, but overall a lot more fun. Can't speak for everyone though.
I feel the same. I was a little weary while listening to other's complaints during the open beta but hands on, it just feels like you can be more aggressive and take a little poke damage with things like the passive keeping your CDs ready for any flankers.
Yeah, I dont get the first guy's weird shade towards supports. The people who enjoyed a bunch of shields were usually the DPS, particularly hitscans (on defense) and spam characters.
I've always played more aggressively and was used to natural cover, so I think it feels better than 6v6 as well
@@cyo_mh It helps that they added a few new pieces of cover on existing maps as well.
Honestly i found support way more fun in ow1 i now find myself playing dps and tank i dont know if its 6v6 vs 5v5 or general balancing as i didnt play ow1 for its last 2 years of life
Moira really is a menace in Bronze, though. Super slippery, impossible to track with fade, and orbs are both super annoying not to mention her large range and lifesteal. In higher ranks it's not much of a problem because people stick together more and are much better at aiming. I think they need to find a rework that can give her a higher skill floor, like a 5 meter range reduction and reduced damage that ramps up like Symetra's except it loses its ramp-up when it disconnects from a target.
Fun Fact: On one of his vids he actually posted a link to download the Overwatch 2 “counters” profile for the elgato stream deck. I actually downloaded it for my XL stream deck but when I pulled the thing up, it showed that all the counters in the folders had a macro error and wouldn’t do anything. The only key that would work was Mei for the Genji “counters” folder(even though Mei is actually a good counter to Genji)and when I clicked on it, it took me to a Rick roll on TH-cam. So yeah this dude is hard trolling on everything he does and you should not trust him once so ever.

Shape actually plays a huge role with reaper. Kiriko is actually really hard to 1v1 because very little bullets connect and she has a hitscan 2 hit kill on close range
I remember how miserable tank players were in OW1 with all the BS like CCs going on that wouldn't let them play the game unless they were duo'd with someone like Zarya to get bubble protections.

If you can pick a hero and shoot another hero in the head over and over in the training range and that hero dies, then your hero counters that hero.

You don't need to even look at the floor anymore. Just use the new ping system. It tells you the distance from the target.

Just coming out of the first tok, but even if you miss duo queueing tank with a friend you can go fuck around in open queue quickplay. Granted, it's not as organized or as effective as it was in 6v6, but if all you want to do is have fun with friends you're going to play quickplay anyway.
