Over the years I've thrown a lot of money at a lot of different products to clean my deck. This one worked the best and didn't make my debit card scream either. Previous products I used appeared to work but when dried the green algae had reappeared. And that was with a good scrubbing as well. Very frustrating after several hours of work to look out and see that as you crack your first beer. This product eliminated the green and the black mold. It does work fast. You can see a difference before you get a chance to brush. Very pleased with it and highly recommend.
I went and bought this based on your recommendation. It worked!!!! I literally sprayed it on and rinsed it off and my siding looks brand new. Thank you!!!
@@thurm101 algae didn’t return at all. I live in a 3-story townhouse and figured i spend $9 bucks to try it out before spending $150 for the power wash company. It’s been like 6 months and the siding still looks brand new. No algae regrowth. I ended up buying a gallon and did my parents house and then did my in-laws house. Made me starting to think I could start my own siding business with this stuff and charge half the price. Just an FYI if you’re spraying up a tall wall be sure to where goggles. I got some back spray in my eyes and it was quite uncomfortable.
@@timothykelly2367 This morning I went to Lowe’s and bought the type you connect to the hose. Applied it. Of course I ran out. So on my next off day I am going to buy the gallon and pour it into the hose connect. But I got like half of the back of my house. It looked like brand new!!!! It’s so easy.
We've used this product multiple times on decking, concrete, vinyl siding and decorative vinyl fencing. It does a great job especially for touch up in between having the house professionally power washed. It does an especially good job on vinyl siding with no scrubbing in our case. The vinyl fencing i do go over with a large soft brush after the product sits for a few. I find it works much better on cooler, cloudy days so it doesn't dry too quickly. I absolutely prefer this product over dragging out that heavy power washer. You can also do small sections or projects at a time as your energy allows, lol
Hi Pamela, thanks for your feedback. I'm sure others will enjoy reading about your experience with the 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner. We also found this product to work really well! Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
Thank you so much for sharing 30 SECONDS Outdoor Cleaner with your subscribers! There is nothing we love more than a customer review of our cleaner. Your deck looks good as new!
Over the years, purchasing products to clean our patio, the results pathetic and certainly given the energy investment, I just gave up. But looking at this video, how easy Wayne explains the use of the product, and the results are amazing. I can actucally see the reflection of the trees where the deck is wet, I will be buying this product, happily buying this product.
Thank you for the video review. We are a fence and deck contracting organization. Always looking for new products to work efficiently and effectively and according to budget. This helps for sure for those fence jobs. I wonder as I've seen products on Instagram which work better and just as fast to restore the original look as with sanding. Thanks again for the review
Hello Mark, That is an interesting comment. I think it would be worth trying if you had a very bad cleaning job. Most of the time, I don't thing it would be worth the trouble. If you do try it, please let us know how it worked. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
We haven't tried it for concrete, but the 30 second cleaner's website indicates it can be used on concrete. Good luck with your project and have a great day.
Hello Audrey, If your deck is located under a canopy of trees, like ours, cleaning it yearly is probably a good idea. Yearly cleaning will be much easier than waiting a couple of years to do it. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
Hi, thank you for your question. We diluted the product with 50% water, per the manufacture's instructions on the label. Hope you like the 30 Second Cleaner as much as we do. Have a great day!
Wondering if this product can be used on old brick/pavers. We have ornamental trees and shrubs around the perimeter of the brick/pavers area that needs to be cleaned. Will it harm the plants ?
Check for warnings on the bottle but I would shy away from the ornamental trees and shrubs. It did not kill the grass around our deck but just be careful. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
Is this any different than just using bleach? It smells like bleach. Wondering if you feel like you get different results compared to just diluted bleach.
Paul, I really don't know the answer to your question, but I'm sure if you contacted the manufacturer, they could give you that information. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
It is ordinary household laundry bleach (sodium hypochlorite) with a small amount of surfactant (sodium metasilicate, the primary active ingredient in powered dishwasher detergent).
I must have done something wrong...I used this product on my deck that only has some green algae and mildew and it did nothing to it :( Sprayed it on (ready to use, not concentrated), left it on for over 10 minutes, even scrubbed it and nothing. Maybe it's not as strong in Canada. Ah well, will have to find another product.
For all jobs you need to scrub or brush but they won’t say that in the advertisements because then people wouldn’t buy it. Even if there’s a light layer of algae you need to brush it for it to become clean. Stop saying spray on spray off. Vinegar will do the same thing with brushing. 30 seconds spray on spray off I don’t think so. It should be called wait 15 minutes, then scrub and rinse off.
Yes, we found that this product worked better with a little scrubbing, as demonstrated in this video. That being said, this is still a good product in our humble opinion. Thanks for your comment and for visiting our channel. Have a great day.
Actually I watched a video from “How to with Doc” about this same product and the side of his house was clean in 20-30 seconds with no scrubbing. Of course even he recommended doing a second pass on it just to get clean.
We left it on until it started to dry, then sprayed some water on it. This was a lot of sap build up on the deck. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
You did not mention the price of the product . I think this is overprice bleach. Try to do another video with just, bleach solution and compare. You will be surprise. Work the same without higher cost. Or buy 30 seconds if you don’t care saving money.
"do another video with just, bleach solution" No. For a fair comparison, use ordinary household laundry bleach PLUS a small amount of surfactant (sodium metasilicate, the primary active ingredient in powered dishwasher detergent). Read the label on the 30 seconds cleaner. That's all it is: ordinary household laundry bleach (sodium hypochlorite) plus surfactant (sodium metasilicate).
Keep in mind we have full coverage of our deck with trees and the dark black is tree sap. Without the tree sap, we would not need to scrub the surface. Also we did not scrub all that much. In the past we have used our 3100 PSI pressure washer. The finished job looks the same but the pressure washer takes more time and is a LOT more work. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
Hello Shelly, We have done it both ways and the scrubbing is minimal. The process of using the pressure washer takes longer. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
One problem with pressure washing is that you are also lifting the wood grain, and even removing a layer of wood every time you pressure wash...which opens the grain & allows more spores, dirt & debris to penetrate deeper into the wood. The only solution to fix that problem is sanding the entire surface, then re-sealing. Most people and contractors use too high of pressure, causing future problems for the decking, later experiencing cracking, checking, etc. Even on concrete, the aggregate will eventually become exposed if using excessive water pressure per occurrence or over a series of treatments over time. If using a cleaner is effective in softening, dissolving or lifting the grime, and the product doesn't damage the surface...then you are able to minimize any damage caused from excessive (or any) water pressure which otherwise has the potential to deteriorate the wood surface. Otherwise, cleaning is better than not cleaning.
It is ordinary household laundry bleach (sodium hypochlorite) PLUS a small amount of surfactant (sodium metasilicate, the primary active ingredient in powered dishwasher detergent). You can make your own at home for a fraction of the price.
Hello Wayne, I followed the precautions on the label, which stated use in a well ventilated area. Because I was using the product outside, the use of a mask was not necessary. Thank you for your question and have a great day.

ACE and Home Depot also.
Great informative video. Had a quick question, is there a wood sealant that you would recommend to apply after cleaning it with the outdoor cleaner?
We have used Cabot brand and it works well. However we have not used others for a comparison. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.

Yes but I don't know how well it will work in removing the stains. Thank you for visiting and have a great day.
