We live near Ocala ,FL and don't power wash our home or RV . We always have hand washed it with Miracle Green full strength. Now that we found this 30 seconds production we have been using it for a few years. Works GREAT

So, NOW you tell me! I bought 1/2 gallon of Mold Armor with the hose attachment last year,. but never "got around" to using it. I even bought a full gallon refill bottle for THIS year. When I saw the large display of 30 Seconds Cleaner at Lowe's a few weeks ago, I decided to buy 1/2 gallon with the hose attachment. I'll use that on the shady, yucky side of my house, and use the Mold Armor on my aluminum shed and the garage-type door on my portable building. Thank you for posting this comparison video!

I use the mold armor deck full strength in a garden sprayer. I Use the deck cleaner on my wood deck, vinyl siding and vinyl screen house top. It has worked well. He did not hose it off after 10 minutes which I found is needed. Vinyl looks brand new and tends to resist mold for about 2 years on the siding. With the bleach there is the strong smell plus it ruins whatever clothes it touches.

Got a couple of spray bottles of Mean Green from dollar general. Walked around and sprayed the house, and let it stay on for about 10-15 minutes per side before my friend came behind me with the power washer to rinse...that was 2 years ago...the house is just now showing a few signs of needing it done again.

Anyone have any Advice or Tips? I hooked up the 30-Second Cleaner to my hose and sprayed my home with it, and it did NOTHING. I then poured it out into a bucket and dipped a brush in it, and scrubbed my home which worked well. But I bought the 30-Second Cleaner to connect to my hose to spray without the hassle of scrubbing. Anyone have any ideas why it didn't work for me when connected to the hose? Thanks!

@@Kitearmy FYI: I talked to someone at the hardware store who uses 30-second cleaner, and they told me the dirt/mold may not have come off for me at first because the buildup had been on there too long, and would require scrubbing to get it off...
So, that is something to consider when making these videos is that the dirt/mold comes off easier when it has not been on long. But it had been on over a year on my home, therefore required scrubbing...but if you do it every 6 months, you can probably just spray and rinse. Thanks!

Put a third of that in a 2 gallon sprayer with a few onces of Dawn dish detergent and the rest water - less than $5 tax included... that one gallon of bleach covers my little ranch house and 2.5 car garage 3X, and I guarantee it does just as good of a job.

You do realize that the majority of siding/fence cleaners have some version of sodium. You know what those versions of sodium are? Bleach.
Whether you’re smart or enjoy being taken advantage of, just pre rinse your landscape with water, then dilute the landscape with water again after you’re done spraying your house/fence with bleach.
Hell, if you’re still concerned about the bleach harming your plants, you can overdo things by grabbing some random leaves, spread them out inconspicuously, them spray the landscape with some molasses to bring back the microbe/mycorrhizal population. But that’s the over paranoid option.

Remove the red nozzle and it shoots a long straight stream. Put it back on for areas you can reach to save cleaner.

I don't know how you got that large wall done with 1 bottle. I did the backside of a mobile home and was half empty and I have a flow regulator on my hose. I ran out after 2 bottles and did not complete the job. But, the area where I did cover worked great. I missed behind the down spouts and corner areas because it goes so quickly. If you don't cover enough, it will leave streaks where part is clean and part is not. So don't expect it to just run down and work, because that chemical from up top is used, so you have to apply as much fresh cleaner to every level. I'm going to paint, so a little streaking doesn't matter for my job.

Had terrible time cleaning north side of our two story house until I discovered wet and forget. Spray it on and everything disappears after a few rains. Keeps it off for a couple years. Works great on roof shingles as well. No other other product can just be sprayed on - all need some sort of wiping, scrubbing which isn't going to happen 30' up on sloped yard.....

Bleach can be bad for the environment, particularly when used near a fresh water source. The directions on the bottle should be read and followed to allow these products to be used safely.

    • @cguy96
      @cguy96 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@MariusNinjai is that your opinion, or is it informed by *say* some research?
Bleach, when used properly, and in a contained environment (such a proper amount, handled carefully, diluted, and flushed down drains to a proper wastewater treatment plant) is not perfect, but it is not terrible.
However, bleach in the environment does not biodegrade, but it does break down and is highly reactive (which is also why it is good for killing microorganisms). In water it forms (among other organo-compounds) dioxins, furans, and dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) all of which are known carcinogens and have half-lifes of several years. Dioxins in the environment is what led to the near extinction of bald eagles as well as an overall decrease in fish and bird species near large bodies of fresh water.
Recall, it is not just bleach that is stressing the environment. I also did not call for banning bleach, I said WHEN USED the directions on the bottle should be read and followed.
Of course, it is the manufacture of bleach (particularly sodium hypochlorite) that is the source of the majority of environmental pollutants. So, maybe considering more environmentally safe alternatives is a reasonable suggestion.
