    I’ve owned my 2019 XP 1000 since August 2019 and I’ve absolutely loved it since. Zero issues. It handles the trails with ease, the power is great, mud isn’t an issue with it, and holy $*** is it a blast! Great work horse around the property for hauling hay, wood, feed, pulling fell’d trees, etc. As I said, great work horse but a blast on the trails when you what to kick it with friends.

    Worked on a ranch a few years ago. Was pulling out of a section of the property after weed eating a large ditch. I started down the road and was going about 50mph myself, slowed down a little and tried to make a left turn and got T-Boned by car trying to pass me at the same time as I turned. The car was going roughly 60mph and the initial hit knocked me out, my head split open on the roll cage. After that my body ejected out of the ranger and flew up into the windshield and up over the car. The person who hit me just sat in her car staring at my unmoving body. Anyways long story short my former boss is only buying Polaris for the rest of his life. The Ranger was barley damaged hahaha. Should’ve had the doors on that’s for sure.

      My best guess is that all machines will have issues especially with some crazy teenagers trying to use it to the brink of destruction without Maintnance period. As far as the belts there strong very dependable in my opinion I’ve owned a kawi brute force 750 2006’ and damn think is still running belt has been strong, currently I own a 2020 ranger 1000 SOHC works great no belt problems yet.

      Worthless

      I never see data based on units sold, so I think this is exaggerated. I'm on my 2nd Ranger, had 2 sportsmans before that. Never any issues. My family bought a 2000 sportsman 500 new and it still runs like a Swiss watch - starts up and goes every time. And my parents haven't babied or really maintained it as well as I would. I highly recommend polaris. YMMV.

    • @christoforospilitsis541
      @christoforospilitsis541 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No,the Xp has the p90x primary and secondary,with a plastic helix that twists out an edge on the inner sheave to grap your belt to slow you down on hills.The non xp 1000 has the p190x primary and secondary,which does not feature engine braking.If you go to Orem parts website and compare the parts diagrams on both styles of clutches on the xp vs the non xp,you’ll find that the p190x drive and driven clutches on the basic 1000 are not only more robust and have larger spider bushings on the primary,they are more expensive than the xp’s clutches as well.
