Warping With 2 Threads at Once for Weaving Log Cabin

  • I'm starting a new project weaving Log Cabin. Since Log Cabin is warped with alternating dark and light threads I demonstrate how to warp holding 2 threads together and keeping the threads in the same cross. This method works great with 2 threads but can also be used to warp as many threads as you can handle (I limit myself to 4 at a time though).

Appreciate the clear explanation. Warping with multiple threads has always been daunting to me, I feel ready to try two at a time now. Thanks!

Well, other than that I always have my cross at the top, this looks very much like what I do for either log cabin or shadow weave.

High praise from someone I watch regularly! LOL
I keep my cross at the bottom just because it's easier to see and that's where I count my repeats. Thanks for watching ❤️

Thank you for explaining your clear warping process! I have always admired the weaving in the background. Is this a Navajo piece?

You're quite welcome. I hope it helps you in the future. Yes, the rug in the background is a Navajo Yei rug I inherited. I think it's the prefect backdrop. Thanks for watching!

@@tangledwebsweaving I thought so! I have a Yei painting that a Navajo artist made for me. Thank you for getting back to me 🤗
