Hello, I have just purchased a new to me Kombo 8 shaft and would like to replace the handles like you did. Where did you get them? I am so excited! The guild where I bought the loom, didn’t think they could be replaced. One of them is broken. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Hiya! Oh yes you can definitely replace them! If you haven't seen it, I did a video on it: th-cam.com/video/k9kftGjj6tk/w-d-xo.html
      Are you in the UK?
I saw an extension kit (which makes the 4 shaft into 8), but I needed two sets of handles so I contacted the UK supplier George Weil and asked for a quote for just the handles. They shipped them in from Louet, took about 6 weeks. You could probably buy one set of four handles, if the others are fine. I ordered a few extra bits that needed replacing, so double check everything else is there and functional. If you live outside the UK you can contact Louet and ask for details of the local suppliers in your country. They were quite expensive, £116 I think for two sets, but Jane handles don't fit and if it makes it fully functional it's worth it as you can sell it for more of it's functional. I have a few other videos on the loom and I am planning to do a review of what I've changed. Any questions I might be able to help with, give me a shout 😄👍🏻

Bravo! I so wanted to say “wind yourself some warp forward”!
Oh and is that a braid maker in the background? That will come in handy when you want to twist some fringes!

Oh yes, I thought the same thing watching it back 🤣 I didn't realise to start with the shed is meant to be bigger than that!! And yes it is a braid maker! I'm looking forward to having something good enough to try it on 🤣
