South Korea's Samsung has seen profits jump 10-fold in first quarter of 2024. The company earned operating profits of $4.8 billion, which is a jump of nearly 933% compared to last year. Samsung's overall revenue rose to $52 billion, which is an increase of 13%. Samsung is gaining huge profits thanks to the memory chip recovery. The prices of chips have recovered after the post-pandemic slump. Global memory chip prices have risen by a fifth in the last year. Additionally, there is greater demand for AI related products, which is boosting Samsung sales. Because artificial intelligence models need memory chips for their complex datasets. It's actually depends whether people afford it or not.
Samsung makes display, chips, fridge, phones,laptop,tv,buds and so on but not even close to apple in terms of brand value. Where apple sells iphone, ipad, mac , airpod , apple watch , i think it's all.

Samsung is on most smartphone sale list because of galaxy a series, cheap series. Samsung doesn't even optimize a series phones properly. My mom have galaxy a54, and I use XR 5 years old XR is way smoother than last years A54.

Samsung phones are the best now. But Indians keep buying Chinese phones for processors, but always remember processor is nice everything. Display, security, lost lasting, speakers etc matters a lot.
Chinese phones send user data to China govt. But Samsung is south Korean brand which is a democracy.
People want value for money. You can't ask poor people to buy a low end Samsung mobile which performs worse than a similarly priced Chinese phone.

Complete propaganda😂 What she didn't told you is that Samsung profit dropped by 96% on the second last quarter, that is, a drop by a factor of 25, and now an increase of 933% (a factor of 9) based on that amount after the decline means that Samung profit increased from 4% of profit fron the third last quarter to 37% of the third last quater. This only indicates a exceptionally tough half year for Samsung. Nividia is the one and only champion winner here in the semiconductor industry.
I hate Samsung phones from the bottom of my heart. As an iPhone user I would rather give my money for Pixels or Chinese phones.
