I started playing Legend of Mana when I was seven, and today I finally beat all 67 quests and got the full cactus diary ❤❤❤ favorite game of all time, and agree that this is the definitive edition! Can't wait to start my NG+ game tomorrow 😤
It's definitely not a game for everybody, and there's no shame in looking up a guide for suggestions on what to do, but I'm really glad to see more people willing to try it out
Glad to hear that the remake was so good! I was a bit worried since some remakes miss the mark. I'm glad you got a great remake of your favorite game, and thank you for sharing your thoughts on it!
Yeah, with a title like this I figured there was really only a few things they could do to really drop the ball with it, and I'm thrilled that they didn't. They did an amazing job overall.
Huh, normally youtubers would say "I noticed it and now you have to as well" with the portraits in this remaster. Good for you for not falling into that trap!
Great video!! especially loved the looking back at your collection making sure Cactus is there (too bad it's not the penguin) and the Futurama Clip. glad to hear that this game is super accessible now, was looking for a new game!
If they ever released a plushie of that baby penguin I'd buy one for me and one for my 10 closest friends! I wouldn't even explain it. I'd just be like "HERE'S A BABY PENGUIN!"
Yo I found you on a GameFaqs thread talking about the Persona 1 protagonist's name from 11 years ago. I was expecting for your channel to just not exist anymore, but it still does, and seems to be doing just fine
Oh yeah, I used to spend a LOT of time on those old message boards. Heck, that's where my old webcomic really picked up popularity which helped a lot when I started putting the channel together. I appreciate you swinging by. I still put out regular content if you're interested in seeing more.
Still waiting to see if LRG or someone else is gonna put this out (Grandia 1 and 2 and the time it took for them to grab it has made me EXTREMELY Paranoid.), this and SaGa Frontier.
Was wondering when you’d do a review on the remaster. (FYI, your patreon link in the description of this video is scuffed. The link in your bio works, however.)
But it's not like Golden or Royal where you're FORCED to interact with The Answer or any of its events. Then again, I once got into an argument with a guy who said he'd rather pay 60 for SMTIV alone on the Switch than 50 for an SMTIV/Apocalypse bundle so maybe I just don't understand the level of pettiness some people have to try and ignore that sort of stuff lol

Another proud addition to my mana collection and glad u got something so dear to your heart
Best game ever become even better. I agree
Thanks for the video! I definitely want to check this game out some time!

That never even occurred to me XD

This is just making me wish more for a Sword of Mana remake/remaster. That game is my favorite out the games.
I would certainly be curious on you covering that manga!
I may just have to do that!
Also yes, cover the Manga, that Manga is batshit insane and it NEEDS to be seen, or in this case Shown.

Just one thing. I heard that SE would patch a new, more pixelized font. Not sure if it has been released yet.
I had not heard about that, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it.

Appreciate the heads up! I’ll be sure to fix it!
why they did not update characters models as backgrounds? it could be way better
Yeah, it would've been nice, but it's not a deal breaker for me.
I dunno, but I can't help but wonder if the Mana series keeps doing good that we might not get a full on Remake.
Legend of mana manga
It's just fun to say
I think I had like three takes where I just flat out said Legend of Manga
@@strain42 I'd play that 😅
Well, a possible reason to not play FES could be wanting to pretend The Answer doesn't exist.
I know I do.

@@strain42 But it's always there on the title screen, mocking me.
Oh, and yeah, it's definitely irrational/petty, not even gonna pretend otherwise.
