I think Champ is Porter's brother. In Porter's animal crossing e-reader card, it says "Despite being stuck at the station rain or shine, Porter always seems to be in a chipper mood. Rumor has it that he and his brother, the train's engineer, switch places sometimes!" which confirms he has a brother that looks just like him. Champ has a different birthday than Porter, which makes me think it is not Porter. It has to be his brother. This would also make sense because Porter's brother also works at the train station, so him appearing as a villager when there is no train station all adds up. The choo choo catchphrase would also still be fitting of Porter's brother.
That’s actually really cute if they switch places. That would mean Champ works at the station too tho, which would make sense that he’s just hanging around when there isn’t a station to work at
I definitely think Champ and Porter are the same character, but i think it's a little silly to call it a theory, because it really feels like Nintendo is very explicitly saying they're the same character with Champ's interest in trains. I think his name is Champ, and Porter is his profession.
Porter is said to have a brother who is the train's engineer. Champ is very likely said brother, but him and Porter are definitely not the same person.
oh and one more thing a pescatarian diet does make sense since there are literally no villagers that are fish, so it's an ethical thing. no cannibals are allowed in animal crossing, animal or human.
In New Leaf, most of the shop owners were all on main street, and in New Horizons, most of them live on Harv's Island. In New Horizons, I was always wondering if you could go up that stairs in Nooks Crannys.
the "is Champ Porter" theory has been debunked. In Animal Crossing Plaza for the Wii U, it was revealed they have different birthdays. My headcanon is that Champ is actually Porter's younger brother, and his love of trains is because of his admiration for Porter. As far as the caged hamster and hamster villagers, things get weird when you look at Flurry's house. Flurry, a white hamster villager, has a white hamster in a cage on her dresser. Why.
I don't think Animal Crossing is purgatory, but a digital simulation similar to Ready Player One or some such. In New Horizons, I even had a Lazy villager say as much before laughing it off as a joke, but not before my player character started sweating and panicking that the NPCs were catching on.
the buildings in animal crossing are like in harry potter. you go into a tiny mouse hole and ending up being in a big castle. there is magic in animal crossing.
Actually, the person over the phone is confirmed to be Rover in Animal Crossing City Folk! I don’t know about other games though, but I do have City Folk 😅
About Champ, you completely forgot to mention that when you start a new town in New Leaf, after you created your face after talking to Rover, there's another monkey (Speaker, but that's not his real name) who announces the town destination. He is very similar to Porter with the suit and the hat. This could potentially mean that it's Champ, Porter's long lost brother ? We'll never know.
What about the theory of who was supposed to be the mayor in New leaf. I know most people think it's Isabelle but I always held the belief that it's Rover. He was on the train reminiscing about traveling and then talking to you who happens to be going to the same town he was. He suddenly decides to back out of being mayor and let's you take over. I mean Isabelle says they knew you were coming cause you'd sent a letter saying what time you were coming. How would she have known that someone was coming without the letter? Idk something that I always thought was interesting
I've always thought this too! The way he talks about the town you're going to makes it seem like he was either somewhat familiar with it or he was planning on visiting it.
There's another disembodied voice NPC in the original gamecube verion when you use the "lovely phone" item. I just dont know if it's in aminalese or if it's in bebelese.
In New Leaf it is in bebelese, since the lovely phone returns in that game, I can confirm this since I have the phone on my save file. However, it says it is automated and gives you fortune telling advice, which basically boils down to the lucky item you should wear, which is the exact same as Katrina's in that game for example if Katrina tells you to wear boots as a lucky item, the phone will tell you to wear boots
the turtle you catch in acnh is a snapping turtle, and tortimer is a tortoise, which are very different animals. not sure about the frog though, maybe there is a "human" animal version and a normal animal version of every animal? though that wouldnt explain the pescatarian food.
I think it's a human/chimp type situation. Chimpanzees look very similar and are closely related to humans, but are obviously different. Maybe the animal villagers in AC are like that, they share a common ancestor with the actual animal and evolved sapience like we did, so for example the frog you get by fishing would be the chimpanzee to the sapient villager frogs' human.
19:50 Oh wow, that's...something. In the German version she says "And remember: bad luck is just good luck that's playing dress-up", which I think is actually pretty cute.
also there are “normal” humans on tv. like doing panel/game shows and presenting the (accurate and live in-game) weather. so there are also normal humans in the AC world…and if the human newscasters know, and are presenting, the weather for YOUR small getaway island….where tf are they?!
This famous theory of the post-apocalyptic world works with that. According to the theory (im not the one who invented it btw, i just read about it once), there was a war in the AC universe, where humans genetically modified animals to make greater armies. Those animals became the villagers, and the ones that were not modified stayed the same (which explains why there are regular hamsters or frogs, why the insects or fish are still the same etc) After the war, the humanoid-animals hid from the humans on small unknown islands. Thats why we are the only human in our town We can even go further and say that we are part-animal and that explains why we are accepted in the town where animals hide from humans and why we don't look like the humans on the TV, paintings, sculptures or the anatomy models.
I thought the phone “character” was a prerecorded automated system. Never even considered it was a character, let alone human or an animal. I still stand by this
In one of William Gibson's short stories he wrote about a teenage hacker who instead of computer software and hardware, worked with generics. The kid creates a virus that modifies animals into near human level of intelligence. While it doesn't end (in the little that I remember) in a destroyed world, it creates a massive mess for everyone. I like to think the Animal Crossing world is somewhat based on this short story. The smart animals branch out to create their own land.
hey I know what's behind the door in the resident services, basically it's a room that people who don't have a tent go into to live it's proven by making a new account and not making a house then check the map and it'll show you in resident services
I actually did that when I made a new account to take advantage of the free NSO trial to go to treasure islands. I never actually put the tent down and I was wondering what would happen and I just spawned in the plaza
That branching between australopithecine and human in the museum does still line up with the real world family tree. It's just overly simplified and straight forward between two species excludes all other species of the family tree. If you did the same with focusing only between two species at the real family tree, you will get the same result. If you look closer, the australo branch is also branched early right after the hominid line branched from the monkeys/apes just like the real family diagram. They are the closest to humans than any other apes or monkeys. They stayed accurate to show these prehistorical animals aren't direct ancestors but close relatives sharing the common ancestor with the modern animals.
So answer for one: I’m pretty sure the answer to why there’s the animal villagers like say a frog villager and also a frog you can collect is prob the same reason Disney has both Pluto and Goofy and why Minnie Mouse is afraid of mice. There’s the human animals that are anthropomorphic. They evolved into what they are now. But not all did and that’s why you can have a hamster in your house given to you by a hamster villager. Also why Hello Kitty has a pet kitten named Charmmy y’know?
Also talking how about the Hello Kitty analogy is very interesting, I always hear people talk about the goofy Pluto thing but never the Hello Kitty and her pet cat thing
@@brogamin179 there's actually a lot of confusion in terms of if Hello Kitty is cat or not, but Sanrio confirm that she is like Mickey or Kermit where they have animal appearances yet act like humans. That's what anthropomorphic means.
As a real railroader, it's quite possible that Porter got fired because of a discipline issue or a disability because of an injury. Both very real issues that confront irl railroders. Since Nintendo and Animal Crossing are Japanese, and the Japanese are bigger train fans (foamers in USA parlance), this seems to be a realistic situation. Also Porter could have gotten laid off, and rehired when people in front of him in seniority retired. Of course, in ACNH, there is also the train set available iin the four seasons.
The evolution lines at the museum clearly show that the austrolo whatever is a divergent branch of human evolution so the humans in animal crossing could not have evolved from them
Lyle is not really a scammer. He talks you into buying the insurance, yes. And you can't say no. But it is an actual insurance. When you get stung by a bee, he'll pay you. After some time it actually pays out.
While I don't mind being left in the dark about the animal crossing universe, and simply enjoy designing my island and interiors.... a part of me would really like a game that has more story to it. I don't expect a full blown story to the game ever, but just more substance than basically a tutorial would be really cool. To be honest, after such a jump to having your own island to design with terraforming, I have NO IDEA what the next game will end up being. Like they could always give us a way larger space, with more villagers able to come to your town, or add a separate city like they have in past games... but as for the theme, and whether or not it would be a deserted island, is a mystery. I would love to see theory videos on what they could possibly do next! The next console is coming (hopefully) soon afterall :)
they actually do the family tree right, you see a line that leads to the Australopith skull, but that line does not continue up the wall, it splits from the line that continues up the wall, showing that the Animal Crossing human is not descended from the Australopith, but it is a relative that has long since gone extinct.
regarding the human theory, it could always go the Hatoful Boyfriend route. In Hatoful Boyfriend, the pigeons evolved into higher intelligence beings while living alongside humans. However, humans being prejudiced against the birds, they separated societies. In the midst of a cold war, the humans sends the protagonist to form personal bonds with the birds and live in their society. Doesn't have to be 1-to-1, but the idea of living alongside could be plausible
As for your first argument, that entire wing of the museum is a phylogenetic tree. It is actually touted in the real life scientific community as being accurate to real evolutionary progress (counting the anthropomorphic animal silhouettes as their real life equivalents). The Australopithecus is about exactly as close to humanity on that tree as it is supposed to be on a phylogenetic tree of the magnitude as seen in the fossils wing of the museum.
there are some meat items in pocket camp including an actual turkey. franklin barely appears, he had an event named after him in 2021, but other than that i don't think he's been in it. i'm concerned
Man, I need to complain, so sorry in advance, but this video keeps popping up on my side bar for me to watch, but the half cut villager model with the muscles keeps putting me off my lunch.
Honestly, I kinda like when Katrina reminds you/me/the player, "Remember that bad times are just times that are bad." Because sure, maybe she could just be blowing smoke, but idk, I personally appreciate reading that. I've dealt with depression on and off for many years of my life, and I was finally diagnosed with clinical depression in 2017 (after FINALLY finding a doctor that actually listened to me and took my concerns seriously enough to be like, "Yeah, you clearly have Major Depressive Disorder and it sounds like you've been dealing with this for quite some time", instead of immediately dismissing it as being a result of my weight, or because of my period, and just coming up with every excuse they could think of to tell me "You couldn't possibly have depression because you're too young! You're just being an overly emotional, hormonal woman - that's all!"), and when I'm experiencing a down swing, I tend to get anxious and overwhelmed very easily, as well as worrying over every little thing. As corny as it might sound, when I get like that (and it hasn't gotten so bad/out of hand that I end up having a breakdown), when I read that message from Katrina it just reminds me to breathe and take a moment to reassure myself that I'm going to be okay, even if I don't feel that way. But that's just me.
1:15 considering this and dialogue by the turkey dude "i know its turkey day, but you wont BELIEVE what they do to turkeys in some parts of the world" maybe half of the ac earth is animal crossing and the other half is basically real life like my brother said that as a joke when i showed him the turkey day dialogue but like if theres another thing in the franchise hinting to it like who knows
10:13 we also get flip in new horizons who also looks just like porter and in nh hes once again replaced by wilbur and orville.... what if he changed his name once again when he was fired again and made it not champ because people caught on
17:42 this point could hold a similar explanation to Splatoon’s discussion on how it seems like the sentient characters rat seafood. It is explained as the food they eat being less evolved versions of the seas creatures, similar to pets in our world, they just happen to share similar traits to the humanoid sea creatures. the humanoid ones are much differently evolved than the ones still in the ocean, one major difference being the ones on land cannot enter the water anymore, so I’d say it’s an evolutionary difference thing for animal crossing as well
to touch on the topic of food, there is an item for a barbeque griller or something like that in acnh which when opened shows smoked sausages, cheese, and something else i think, i was stunned when i first discovered it by accident
I’m willing to believe that the sausages aren’t actually sausages, but a vegan substitute. If it was actual meat, some of the villagers would basically be eating themselves, and I don’t want that thought in my head.
I believe that Animal Crossing exists on Disney logic. By this measure, yes, frogs and anthro frogs can exist side by side. In Disney, this is most evident in Pluto and Goofy: Pluto is a dog, but Goofy is a Funny Dog (this being the apparent official name for the anthropomorphic species - “Funny _____”.
Porter could also just be his job title. Historically a "porter" is someone who transports things. So Champ the monkey could have a job with a train station, making him a Porter
Hey there! First off, huge fan of your videos - your content is always on point! However, I couldn't help but notice a tiny detail at 2:50 that I thought I'd share my thoughts on. It seems like there might be a bit of confusion regarding the Animal Crossing phylogenetic tree. Just to clarify, the tree isn't necessarily depicting a linear progression, and interestingly, Australopithecus on that same tree does share a common ancestor with humans (it's not implying that they are our ancestors). It's all about checking out the underlying connections beneath the different acnh animals. Keep up the great work!
17:09 in my experience poultry do not feel morally conflicted when it comes to eating their own kind, so maybe? but considering his whole thing is turkey day without turkey probably not
At one point, Isabelle lived in a box with her brother. If she can handle living in a cardboard box, she can make herself comfortable anywhere in Resident Services.
I like to bekive Champ and Porter are the same character! Like, while he's working, he uses his last name and while not he uses his first. So his full name might be "Champ Porter"! :)
I think it’s more likely the comment about the tire is just a jokey reference. Gracie already having a nice car is probably just because she’s living large from her work in fashion, and her having a nice store later is just the result of her company growing. I’m happy for her :)
The museum tree of life very clearly shows that the Australopithecus is a separate evolutionary branch from current humans. And the distances in branches just indicate how long ago the split happened.
one thing that borders me when people talk about what do people eat in pokemon is that no one talks about the fact that in the anime heracross sucks the lifeforce out of bulbasaur.
My theory that I 100% believe in is that the world of Animal Crossing and the World of Sonic the Hedgehog are the same place. Think about it, sometimes we see humans in Sonic, often we don't. They've been recently revealed to live on continents, while animal people typically live on islands ( and guess what, seems like small isles and islands are bountiful in Animal Crossing too ). The settings in Animal Crossing just seem to follow normal civilians in peacetime, while in Sonic we follow the special folk going on extraordinary adventures. There's just not much to disprove that they're the same world, the lore fits together rather nicely.
For the question about villagers and their pre-existing species, I have a thought! They’re likely in the same family tree but from two different (linear) evolutionary lines. They share a common ancestor nut evolved differently. Just like humans and primates or Frogs and fish
So, small thing to consider about the museum, but the exhobit showing the evolution of the various villagers is organized like a cladogram, which is a way of representing when a common ancestor species diverged into different branches. Take the deer fossil shown next to the deer villager's icon, you'lll see they meet up at a split that continues further down to other splits that lead to other villager species, so it's not that the deer villagers are descendants of that deer fossil's species, but rather that they share a common ancestor, and before that common ancestor they both share a common amcestor with other closely related species of villagers on down the chain. The same would then also be true of the cladogram for monkey and human villagers, with humans and australopithecines sharing a common ancestor and, likewise, humans and australopithecines sharing a common ancestor with monkey villagers.
Rocket Elijah can you confirm that the music at 19:00 was like a trumpet cover of Life Will Change from Persona 5. please i need answers are you a persona fan?
I think humans died and animals evolved, But some humans that survived evolved too. So, They can survive, making the human villagers have the villager look they have today.
15:02 on this topic (not the topic of the exact timestamp just the one of imageless characters), theres also the lady at the very start of new horizons who announces the flight boarding, and the one when you're on the plane who transitions into the little movie intro thing! they might be the same character? idk since that doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but then again it's animal crossing and we eat fruit to dig up trees lmao
I know there’s a popular theory that we the players are a child deceased from an accident and that the entire world of animal crossing is like a purgatory. We died in some kind of vehicle accident which is whatever vehicle we arrive on in the game. The characters are cute and friendly animals there to keep us company so we don’t become scared
the evolution thing kind of makes the “frog villager vs realistic frog” thing make sense to me. I’m guessing if they evolved from the much older skeletons shown at the museum, then they probably at some point also resembled the animals we have today, and now coexist with these animals in the way humans coexist with monkeys, even catching them and putting them on display for entertainment purposes. but idk i just overthink everything XDD
The e+ version of Animal Crossing lets you enter Nook's store late at night and he's seen sleepy and with pijamas so it's safe to assume that they all live within their stores.
Did you guys notice the dear shadow line connects to the 4th animal in the museum and some of the other shadows do the same to another animal in the museum but the australopith does not have a shadow but it has a line connecting to it and when you go under the last light it shines on you and makes a sound that's cool. Also why are we the only human in the animal crossing world it's so strange why?
I just watched the other video where you mentioned tom adopting Timmy and Tommy. My immediate thought was that I always thought that he kidnapped them. I mean he puts you in debt right away in new leaf. So I could see him kidnapping little tanookies.
Dreamlight Valley addressed the meat issue with the Eternity Isle update. Gaston has meat stales and it’s stated that the meat in that game comes from the freezer of infinite meat. So maybe animal crossing is the same way and they found a scientific solution to the meat problem
i think the game intends for the players to be the human population in animal crossing, and i think there's dialogue that builds canon outside of just your town (letters from your parents, characters acknowledging that you can visit your friend's towns, etc) to back that. common animal crossing worldbuilding dub
18:30 I had just assumed animals and animal animals were like humans and apes, apes (and more distantly, monkeys) are our genetic cousins, but we're definitely a big jump away. For food, I always imagined they generally don't eat their "Cousin" species, so a cow wouldn't eat beef, the same way a human won't (or shouldn't) touch chimpanzee, be it because of health risk or a level of unease/culture. Although people probably widely eat all the different meats like normal, you don't see them all on display because of the variety of animals, and it'd be kinda morbid if someone came up to you and offered you stewed ape, so rural might be more pescatarian as a cultural middle ground. That'd also explain Franklin's worries about being eaten on Turkey day, he sees himself on the table and it makes him panic even if everyone wouldn't think about eating him.
there's absolutely no proof for this, but my brain immediately assumes that the turkey day casserole in new horizons is a sweet potato casserole every time i see it because of the default swatch's lid color. idk, something about the shade of orange screams sweet potato like, i know logically that the lid is probably a painted ceramic lid, but it does look a lot like the shade of cooked sweet potato (at least in the default swatch)

It was definitely a theory, and it’s been debunked. They have different birthdays.
They do look very similar
Porter is said to have a brother who is the train's engineer. Champ is very likely said brother, but him and Porter are definitely not the same person.
@@JZJ7777over the games their birthdays change. I know it’s weird but it is what it is 😅 and I doubt that it will ever be different 😮💨

I've always said that Resetti lives underground since the PW project in New Leaf.
oh and one more thing a pescatarian diet does make sense since there are literally no villagers that are fish, so it's an ethical thing. no cannibals are allowed in animal crossing, animal or human.

True but an octopus can be used to make food and there are octopus villagers
Why.
Porter canonically has a brother who is said to be the train's engineer, so that definitely checks out.
I don't think Animal Crossing is purgatory, but a digital simulation similar to Ready Player One or some such.
In New Horizons, I even had a Lazy villager say as much before laughing it off as a joke, but not before my player character started sweating and panicking that the NPCs were catching on.
Yes I had Berry say that to me too once! It was kinda creepy
I had Walker say that to me back in... what, 2022?
...
Scary...
the buildings in animal crossing are like in harry potter. you go into a tiny mouse hole and ending up being in a big castle. there is magic in animal crossing.
Actually, the person over the phone is confirmed to be Rover in Animal Crossing City Folk!
I don’t know about other games though, but I do have City Folk 😅
I assume you were just talking about Wild World because Rover speaks in Animalese, but I just want to make sure
Porter's e-reader card specifies he does have a brother.
I like the Porter/Champ theory, but they have different birthdays… so they’re different characters.
He might be in disguise
Porter canonically has a brother.

I mean.. We can make food with octopi, and there are octopus villagers.
Those animals became the villagers, and the ones that were not modified stayed the same (which explains why there are regular hamsters or frogs, why the insects or fish are still the same etc)
After the war, the humanoid-animals hid from the humans on small unknown islands. Thats why we are the only human in our town
We can even go further and say that we are part-animal and that explains why we are accepted in the town where animals hide from humans and why we don't look like the humans on the TV, paintings, sculptures or the anatomy models.
I thought the phone “character” was a prerecorded automated system. Never even considered it was a character, let alone human or an animal. I still stand by this
I really needed this… it’s rough atm and these videos bring me joy :)
MarPat seems to think that the animals walking on two legs are actually humans and that the main character is insane.
hey I know what's behind the door in the resident services, basically it's a room that people who don't have a tent go into to live it's proven by making a new account and not making a house then check the map and it'll show you in resident services
Some people do this when they want all residents on the island but don’t have space for another house.
Thanks! I was wondering.
so basically, a homeless shelter
I actually did that when I made a new account to take advantage of the free NSO trial to go to treasure islands. I never actually put the tent down and I was wondering what would happen and I just spawned in the plaza
I have watched all of your videos, and I enjoy your work. Keep going, Elijah.

I find that whenever I think about the mysteries of animal crossing I fall down even deeper rabbit holes 😅
The room next to brewster where he gives you coffee is a hallway full of gyroids.
It’s like a human with a pet monkey or a human side by side with a chimp or gorilla
Also talking how about the Hello Kitty analogy is very interesting, I always hear people talk about the goofy Pluto thing but never the Hello Kitty and her pet cat thing
Hello kitty is canonically just someone in a cat costume.
There was also the South African monkey that ran an interlocking tower for the South African Railways.
Perhaps irl inspiration?

5:20 I like to think she sleeps somewhere with doomsguy sense their canonically married
So like the evolution stuff (imo) sounds kinda like a Kipo and the Wonderbeasts situation, w/ the post apoc stuff as well.
there are some meat items in pocket camp including an actual turkey. franklin barely appears, he had an event named after him in 2021, but other than that i don't think he's been in it. i'm concerned

1:15 considering this and dialogue by the turkey dude "i know its turkey day, but you wont BELIEVE what they do to turkeys in some parts of the world" maybe half of the ac earth is animal crossing and the other half is basically real life

I love how poor porter had change to change his identity to get over the grief of losing his job 😌
Theory: The snowmen in acnh are the mean villagers that were removed
Something I have noticed in New Horizons is that the moon… oddly looks a lot like earth
10:13 we also get flip in new horizons who also looks just like porter and in nh hes once again replaced by wilbur and orville.... what if he changed his name once again when he was fired again and made it not champ because people caught on
Flip looks nothing like porter or champ lol
If it was actual meat, some of the villagers would basically be eating themselves, and I don’t want that thought in my head.
fair point, but even so it would be the only instance of a meat substitute (besides fish, that i know of) in the game @@JZJ7777
In happy home paradise sometimes u can find the the animals having a BBQ and ngtl it does look like some kind of meat on it
Not gonna lie that's kinda creepy 😅
It could be vegan. I’m thinking that’s more likely than it being actual meat.
Considering normal birds still exist, I'm thinking other normal animals like cow and sheep also exist?

Champ could be 'Porter's' first name. At my first job, I went by my last name, Jones, instead of my first name

I believe Porter is Champ, but he's being referred to as his job title rather than his name.
I remember that Gulliver was talking about that he didn’t want to go to space. Yeah
17:09 in my experience poultry do not feel morally conflicted when it comes to eating their own kind, so maybe? but considering his whole thing is turkey day without turkey probably not
I have actually been behind the gates before at airport, but the literal only thing that was their was the other dodo, no door,to anything
I like to think katrina has powers, but doesn't realize herself that she's legit.
Right? That whole theory in this video made 0 sense and was based on a false premise
Fun fact: Lyle's Japanese name translates to "Mr. Truth" 😂
-In New Leaf NPCs could live in RVs.
-IIRC Porter and Champ also share a birthday.
-Tortimer is a tortoise and not a turtle.
one thing that borders me when people talk about what do people eat in pokemon is that no one talks about the fact that in the anime heracross sucks the lifeforce out of bulbasaur.
I click so fast on your videos they’re so entertaining
13:15 i hope she did that’s iconic
Champ is a common nickname dad's have for their sons, I think champ is porter's son
As someone who has both Hamlet and Flurry (I’m not proud) in New Horizons, Flurry literally has a hamster cage in her house.
Dreamlight Valley addressed the meat issue with the Eternity Isle update. Gaston has meat stales and it’s stated that the meat in that game comes from the freezer of infinite meat. So maybe animal crossing is the same way and they found a scientific solution to the meat problem
i think the game intends for the players to be the human population in animal crossing, and i think there's dialogue that builds canon outside of just your town (letters from your parents, characters acknowledging that you can visit your friend's towns, etc) to back that. common animal crossing worldbuilding dub
so humans aren't just like extinct. and the population is a lot more reasonable compared to wildlife actually,
no comment on the skeletons. Why

10:45 what version of mozart's lacrimosa is this?
You would be an excellent theorist. Yes that's a compliment, SOMEBODY GET MATPAT-
I gave Prince the frog villager a frog once. He said he couldn’t wait to eat it. So that’s something, I guess.
I don't think it would have been that difficult to have houses for villagers like Tom Nook and Isabelle on the island
Me: SAHARAH IS GENDERFLUID-
Me: *leaves*
Here's my theory, for every single species in the ac universe there's actually 2 variants normal and villager, and yes that does include humans
The houses you make for the NPC’s with the DLC are what’s behind those doors. It works perfectly. Lol
there's absolutely no proof for this, but my brain immediately assumes that the turkey day casserole in new horizons is a sweet potato casserole every time i see it because of the default swatch's lid color. idk, something about the shade of orange screams sweet potato
like, i know logically that the lid is probably a painted ceramic lid, but it does look a lot like the shade of cooked sweet potato (at least in the default swatch)
