    Thanks for the view from far then guiding from the oil cap down to the valve. So many videos start with the close up of the valve and hard to figure out which of the 2 they are working on, much less memorizing the location. Salute from TX.

    My solenoid broke in half today during the part where you “gently tap on it with a hammer “ to get it out. What a nightmare

    What you have replaced is on Bank 1 or Bank 2?. I thought that Bank 2 is the one close to radiator and Bank 1 is by firewall.

      Bank 2. You're correct. Bank 2 is closer to the radiator than bank 1. To access the oil control valve for bank 1, you have to reach much further into the engine compartment.

    Did this fix the issue? I have the same code and mine says 02 sensor . I am getting misfire in bank 2,4,6
