Having bought this laptop earlier this week (not for gaming) all I can say is it really feels like a quality product. McAfee is literally the first thing that I always uninstall on all my laptops and there is no other bloatware on it apart from it. Reviewer is just being nitpicky. The Vantage software is nice and does everything you need with a couple clicks. The 144MHz screen is amazing. Color reproduction is great and my 300 nit version is bright enough for indoor use even at 70% brightness. The 6 core AMD Ryzen 4600H works well and should be even better when I add another RAM module. With normal use you literally can't hear it, which was one of my main criteria. Also the trackpad is very good, haven't had any issues with it at all - feels nice and is very precise. Not sure what the complaint is. All in all, probably one of the best laptops I have ever bought, especially at this price (~£820).
Just bought this exact variant in the Philippines where the price was 1,500usd way higher than most countries because of tax and what not but i’m very happy and contented with it no regrets even switching from 10 years of max os to win10

@@uniflover5921 The thermals are really good, but based on my experience it is best to buy a cooling pad even a cheap one because it will keep the machine cool and if you want to game the laptop must be plugged in at all times which might me a drawback but for me it isn’t. I am really happy with my device even from transitioning from a macbook pro.
Had mine for a good 8 months now and been happy with it. My only issue is the pauses when the laptop goes from i5 APU graphics and the RTX2060. Also the fans blow quite loud when playing heavy games.
I just got mine for 850 Euros on discount (or 706 GB Pounds) earlier this month, it came with 1TB of ssd, 16gb of RAM, the keyboard RGB selection. and the rest are the same specs as in the video. This thing is a killer honestly.
The 180 degree is also useful if you are just standing up and want to have a quick access or look on the laptop thats on top of a smaller desk or table. It really is convenient that you have this option.
I'm surprised you didn't open it or just explain what is upgradable. My Lenovo Yoga laptop has a new: SSD (changed twice), RAM, screen, back, and always on USB card (easily replaced when you plug a type C connector into a type-A port). Lenovo Vantage is fast? We must be talking about different programs. I find it bloated as hell when all I want to do is change the charge settings. They really should charge a little extra so the hard drive isn't gimped.

It appears Nvidia doesn't allow their higher end GPUs on 8x PCIE, even though it does not make any difference, however depending on price it would be nice option indeed. The Lenovo. The MSI needs an extra stick of RAM and another SSD. It is also worth noting that owners of the MSI are openly critical of its poor battery life and tendency to overheat when under extreme load.

Yes. I believe the ram is upgradable up to 32GB but don't quote me on that. You can upgrade it to 16GB for sure though. Storage is also upgradable but I don't know what to.
Depends on the size of the battery as there is a standard 2.5 inch slot for an ssd or hdd but just above that is a second m.2 slot so if your model has a larger battery and blocks off the sata slot you can use the second m.2 instead... no idea if it’s possible to use both at the same time but doubt most will

You can get for example a HyperX Impact memory of speed 2933Mhz preferably (on Amazon) or get Crucial memory from this link (this is a UK link though) uk.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/lenovo/lenovo-legion-5-15arh05 Any speed higher than 2444Mhz is preferred although try get 2933Mhz as this is the SAME speed in the laptop as standard. It seems so. It boasts a type C port with 5gbps speeds. I can't say for the quality you'll get in vr games but I'm assuming it will run them well in low graphics.
Yes it iwll be fine super fine you will still get cosident 60fps low graphics it play will but if you max it your be at 30fps drop and still playable but better to lower res for lag

According to Legion designer, the 180 degree lid is designed for angled cooling pads. Also preventing hinge from snapping if accidentally pushed hard.

bought it for my nephew, (i7 GTX 1660ti version) add in another 8gb ram stick and it's a beastie laptop for 1k.
Silly having quad core gaming laptops they could have put a Ryzen 6core in there and lowered the price.

There is one if you get the 60Wh battery (it's shorter than the 80Wh one).
If you have the shorter battery, you can fit a standard internal HDD, if not, you can fit another NVME SSD instead.
