I'm watching on the Galaxy Tab A7 64gb.
I bought the Samsung Tab A 128 gb, had it for a week, sent it back and got the Samsung Tab A7. I like the A7 better. Battery life seems better, and the speakers ROCK! Although the tab A7 has fast charging up to 15 watts I believe, it only comes with a slow charging brick. You have to buy the fast charging brick yourself. The other thing I like on the A7 is that it goes to sleep when you close the lid when you have a case, the Tab A doesn't, you have to turn it off yourself.
I just got my A7 yesterday, so at the moment I have both: A7 and A 10.1 (2019). I must say I am happy I upgraded (even though you may not consider it a huge upgrade), because the A7 is noticeably faster than the A 10.1 (mine was sometimes excruciatingly slow), A7 has quad speakers, fast charging (luckily I have a fast charger from my S20+ phone). However, I must say I like the screen of the A 10.1 a little bit more, it appears a somewhat more saturated, and on the A7 it seems that when you look very closely you can see the pixels moving (refreshing) very quickly (not sure how to explain it) but on the A 10.1 they seem more still.

I bought tab a7.it is so nice for regular online classes and basic things. Satisfied.....tho I am gonna give it to my sister after 1 year. When I will get my ipad 🤧💜
Spec wise the newer tab seems better, as expected, but judging from the side-by-side comparison shots here, the newer screen looks way worse as that bluish tint is horrible (reminds me of a video clip where the color temp is set too low) whereas the older one looks much closer to real life with natural whites.

@@mamtarathee7279 it can run games like pubg at 25 fps however it can run call of duty mobile at 40 fps in everyday use this tablets excellent website browsing no lag even tho it has 3gb ram and a trash entry level chip it's 2nd best budget tablet for 200 Bux the 1. Best budget tablet is ipad 8 gen but I still recommend galaxy tab a7

Android 10 does not allow you to move apps to SD card anymore.

They are technically the same except the S6 Lite supports the S-Pen and has a 0.1"+ wider screen.
Which one should I buy
I bought the A7 and wanted to connect it to an Ethernet plus charge adapter and it doesn’t seem to charge. I’ve seen a video of someone with the Tab A be able to connect and charge through one of these adapters. Is this correct? The newer one can’t but older one can support that function?
Sir ,you said both have similar TFT screens only difference is a7's screen has a blueish hue. But is that all the difference there is ?? Also which screen is better for watching movies and media consumption ?
@@mhc6148 I bought a7 and using it for 2 months. And no the bluish hue is not that apparent, the colour on this tab is kinda on the cooler side that's why the hue . But you won't see it unless you compare it with other tabs .
Would turning on the blue light filter help this?

For the price I think its better to get ipad 8. Only stick with android if you really need it.
I'm so glad I ordered the A7, since the A 10.1 seems weaker at everything and only has 2 speakers, smaller screen, thicker bezels, 2GB RAM, worse chip, 1 update left, and on top of all, the A7 is cheaper! $170 vs $200.

I bought the A 10.1 and it > was < a pretty good tablet. Samsung upgraded to Android 10 and now it crashes about every 20 minutes. The problem is all the crap Google and Samsung load into it. When I first turn it on, 80% of the RAM is used up. As I surf the web, the remaining RAM is depleted until the tablet crashes. Samsung refused to fix it under warranty! Samsung's products in general have taken a nose dive. Even appliances at Home Depot have bad reviews. I'll never buy or recommend Samsung again!
It's a great tablet for consuming content on TH-cam, Netflix etc with the FullHD display and Widevine L1 support. But the 2 gb ram variant ateast is pretty terrible for web browsing or multi-tasking. It can't handle more than 3-4 open tabs at the same time and as you said runs out of ram and crashes. I bought it solely for watching videos via streaming so I'm content with it, but I get what you are saying.

The only thing that I'm against on the new tablet is that the inner part of the bezel is rounded, that's a stupid thing to do. Many pixels will be hidden by the four rounded corners.
I wish phones still had a rectangular screen.

Outstanding review.. I got the A7 and happy with it.. Prefer the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab sound though richer with JBL speakers. Downside of Lenovo doesn't stream Netflix or Amazon Prime VIdeo in FHD..

did u try to compare the lte versions with the wifi only models ? i think samsung is removing features from the wifi one!
I have the 10.1 one the wifi only model ,is it being wifi only is tuned down version or what ? ,I'm missing much features in the ui itself
doesn't have the good lock app or any work around for it

no dual messenger
and the cpu itself i have it on m30 phone and it runs much better on the phone ,on this tablet it's a bit sluggish , no enough ram , no so good battery with very slow charging
does replacing it with the a7 wifi model will fix those issues or its the wifi model itself that suffers from those problems ?

Most tablets needed at least 3gb ram above, the Galaxy Tab A have 2gb Ram so its kinda bad for its software, so i bought Galaxy Tab A7 for better multitasking and Watching Video or Movies, and also kinda good at gaming.

@Cognizant Mind yes, it is compatible but as you know tablet is not having writing feature as S6 have, but still is fine for rough work.
from what I see, the 2019 version has more bright screen, for me, I like more brighter screen , the A7 seems too dark , for me.
If one need it just for watching online lectures and reading pdf which should be preferred?

Thanks for the comparison just got the A7 after having an A10 the A10 died after 6 months so would not recommend it. Samsung took one day less than 2 months to organise a replacement so not recommending them either. Also they are considerably more expensive here with the A7 close to $500. Will see how this one goes.

just samsung active 3 if im not mistaken. but that dont look 2020 at all. other brand only care for good 10inch and lousy 8inch. idk why these company doesn't make any good 8inch tablet.. i mean im down to buy it..easy to hold+bigger screen. my last and still 8 inch huawei mediapad m3 8.4inch. sound screen look all on point. sadly huawei company dont have google anymore.
I see Rico's point of view, Samsung used to make the S-model available in the 8". I know because I have the high performance old S2.
Please do a review of the LG G pad 5 with the Snapdragon 822 processor and it has four gigabytes of RAM & 32 gb storage which according to benchmark test is actually better than the tab a 10.1 2019 and tab a7 2020

Why is Samsung's tab a so confusing, is this an outsourced product?
i wonder how it would hold up in two or three years... with only 3 GB of ram. android and the gapps are intentionally getting heavier and heavier, and those 3 gb can turn out to be way too low for normal use after 2 years.

They will be okay for normal use. It's not a flagship, that's for sure. 😅
My Tablet has 3 GB of ram, i use it since 1 1/2 years and it still performs good enough and gets updates. For multimedia and browsing that will stay enough, also the next years. Cause 1080p in 60hz are absolutely enough for such a small screen. Also in the future. I use a video cutting app on my tablet, which works perfectly and fast. And most of the games are also running on the device. But some of the newer ones are really downgraded.
