Good review, I have the Tab 7 fe, and this tablet appeals to me. I hope they don't increase the price too much for the 5G version. There is one advantage to the LCD screen that I appreciate. It doesn't get the screen burn-in from playing solitaire the way my amoled screen did on my Tab S5E. The amoled does look better, though, in most cases, such as in a dark room.

Do the S6 and S7 also have the translation feature?
On the s9 fe if writing on a white screen I sometimes notice slight screen distortion around the nib when writing or drawing, I know lcd screens will distort if you press them too hard, but I'm not applying a lot of pressure when writing on the S pen, just normal writing pressure.
Is slight distortion normal? it does not change colours, you can just see a slight gel light effect close to the nib when using the S pen.

Apart from marginally reduced latency. No difference at all. All s pens from S8 line-up can be used interchangeably with s9 and even s7 but su encounters some palm detection issues with s9 pen

You can turn that on or off on all Samsung S Pen tablets

@@taz1999it's really weird. On the side, push on the button that is spaces apart from the volume button, and then press on the down volume. You can then, if you wish, go into settings and assign that first button as the on/off button. You have probably found that out by now, but I'm answering for anyone who might have just purchased one, such as myself. (I found out by Google)
lets say I want to buy a tablet only for browsing and Notes, and thats gonna be a lot + some PubG from time to time. Does it worth to take s9 instead of s9 fe? or S9 Fe will perform exactly the same for these purposes?

Hi my spen doesn't show battery level or if it is charging when I connect it to the back of the tablet but I can use it's features. Can you help me please
Do you have other S Pen's from other devices that you might have mixed up? If you connect an S Pen that does not have a battery, no battery level will be shown.
Thank you! 2 questions: 1) does the S Pen have to be physically attached to the tablet to charge? I have my tab in a case, and the S pen slot doesn't allow it to attach magnetically. 2) when using the S Pen to write or draw, can one rest their hand on the screen, or have to keep it off the screen? If off the screen, it's awkward when taking notes.

You can put your hand on the screen, it'll be ignored automatically and that works well. Regarding the pen cover: No idea if it'll work. But the pen doesn't need to be charged for most features.

Most of them, yes. The only ones that are missing are these gestures for PowerPoint or the camera app.

I bought this one for my S7 FE 5G , it works only thing it doesn’t do is take pictures and also I guess you can’t charge it ?
Yes the S7 FE pen has no battery. Except that, all features are roughly the same

When I use the s pen with samsung notes the keyboard keeps opening its really annoying. Anyone have any ideas how to solve issue

Anyone having Samsung Notes issues? Mine has been crashing a lot on my Tab S8 Ultra, upgraded to S9 Ultra, same issue
I use Samsung Notes regularly with the S pen on my Tab S8. I don't remember having had any crashes, even in general. I also have an S8 Ultra but do not use it as a notepad. But also no crashes on the ultra.
My S9FE pen is giving sounds while writing like jerking.

That's because the pen on the FE doesn't charge as it doesn't have a battery 😊

The battery is just to be able to use it as a remote for Power point or camera app; that's all
Do you feel a significant difference from the S7?
There are some differences, the performance is better, the screen of the S9 is an AMOLED while it's an LCD on the S7. However, I don't think it's worth upgrading yet if you have the S7 unless something is bothering you with it. If I wouldn't review tablets and had an S7, I wouldn't upgrade yet.
