    One of the best tutorials I've seen bro. Could you please do a short version video of the basics behind the time signatures and what they achieve when using them? You explain throughout the video but a summarised version that covers all grounds in that area would be amazing.

      That's a good idea. My schedule is really packed right now, but I'll try to record a tutorial within the next few weeks

    I love FL studio I've been using it since I want to say a 2007. I still have 11 😂.
    I find it so fascinating how you can write music three different ways with FL at least if you have legacy settings and can do blocks. It's pretty cool how a buddy of mine Gerald the Genius got started on FL. Instead of using different pages he makes or made all of his songs on one page and then pasted that into the playlist. It was mind-blowing to watch him write the entire song with all of the instruments on one pattern page. I asked him at first why he didn't use all the pages there were like 99..he said it just made sense to his brain that way 🤣🤷

      Yeah, that's one of the many things Iove about FL Studio. It allows you to have so many different workflows and come up with one that works perfectly for you. Most other DAW's are way more linear

    Is there a way to put a drum vst on a midi drum track made in gp5 and imported to FL studio? I've been trying to do it with drums ,synths, bass etc and can't find a way to do it.

    is this the rasiest daw to program drums? Or theyre pretty much all the same?

    • @RaneMusic
      @RaneMusic  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@makariussulit FL-Studio in my opinion has the best Piano Roll of pretty much all DAWs. It's pretty easy to use and the tools make working in it really quick and easy.
      So yeah, for programming drums (or any VST Instruments) FL Studio is probably the easiest DAW to use

    Do you have a video on how to set up the piano roll? I'm confused on how you know what part of the drum kick is on the piano roll. Like how did you decide to order them?

    • @RaneMusic
      @RaneMusic  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@Codysurfsup sadly FL-Studio does not have the function (yet) to rename the piano roll or assign specific sounds to each key. Except for FPC and a few other FL Stock plugins there's also no way to see which key is what element of (for example) the drums.
      I just played around with the Piano roll until I found out where the kick, snare, toms etc are.

      Try using Slicex. You can use sounds from a drum vst or any singular drum one shot samples and line up all your sounds needed onto a track in the playlist, each spaced out by 1 bar. Highlight all of these separate tracks and consolidate them to create one long audio file that you can load into Slicex. From there it should be very easy to use dull auto slicing or manually slice and mark the separated sounds and within Slicex you can choose which marked sounds are mapped to which key on the piano roll. Then you can either play with a drumpad/keyboard or draw the pattern in, all up to you!

    What is the name of your drum samples?

    • @RaneMusic
      @RaneMusic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Plugin is EZDrummer 2 with Metal Machine pack.
      Not sure about the samples I showed in the beginning. I downloaded them years ago, I'm not even sure if they're still available

      I went over how to get a good guitar tone in this video: th-cam.com/video/DsM0SykRS_c/w-d-xo.html
      The guitar tone you hear in this video was made with the NaLex Ninja V3 (Free)

    i hate how only FPC supports having the name of each drum in the piano roll...
    would be so much better if we didn't have to memorize every single drumkit vst's preferences of mapping notes
