The fighters computer must do an insane amount of calculations.
It's amazing how the fighter uses vectored thrust and can maneuvered its afterburner for vertical take offs.
Really? Nasa went to the moon on the computing power of a calculator.
The Harrier did it better than this in 1967 with virtually no computers and a tiny fraction of the cost.

Vertical takeoff and hovering is crazy, sure makes it a lot easier and safer to land on an aircraft carrier!!!
That's just minor advantage. Major advantage is the airforce, not the navy, since now any road, any empty flat area can become your airbase. Enemy destroying every single airbase in your country with missle attack? No big deal
Vertical take-off and hovering is not helpful for landing, unless this aircraft can land vertically from high speed, which I do know believe would be possible
@tr guestme it can both take off and land vertically, and of course the condition for vertical landing is that the aircraft needs to stay still in the air first

When it is used with small mini carriers it will be a deadly combination. It will mean that even small carriers will be able to saturate naval war space.
Certain countries are going to modify their helicarriers to enable F-35 to operate from them.

This is a Soviet engineering school, the Americans bought this Yak-141 aircraft project, look it up on TH-cam. The Russians did it decades ago.

Es un avión que me encanta, la estabilidad que tiene es excepcional. Comparado al viejo Harrier ,el F35 es un muy buen remplazo. A pesar que muchos han tenido problemas al menos eso dicen, creo que el F35 a mejorado cada día más y seguirá haciéndolo.
El problema es que sale caro, y ahi es dnd mas esta fallando el desarrollo de esta nave

No coincide con la opinion de generales, ni militares...el B es un mojon pinchado en un palo. Te recomiendo seguir los canales de trufault historia militar y el de yago " cosas militares" entrevistan a varios dirigentes de la armada y lo dicen claro. El A si ha salido bueno y el C ni idea.
Incluso hablaban de que el f35 B era la mayor estafa que le hicieron al ejército americano. 😅

Dang new jet can do a lot of tricks. Unlike old ones they just fly up n down. Hovering is some awesome features da new Jet have.

The vertical take off is great from my home tallest point and I could be at work (50 km away) in a matter of 3 minutes?! Yes. That is much better than the 60-90 usual minutes due to traffic accidents and jams!

the award should be given to the designer Yakovlev from the USSR, who in 1987 produced an aircraft with such technology. And not to American designers who simply took the finished technology already.

F35 is obese and very slow though, F22 is much faster but they going to retiring it very soon.
@@ernestochaparro8751 Most of it's issues have been worked out, and it is becoming ubiquitous with the United States and many of it's allies. Germany is now even set to purchase 35 of them. The F-35 is head and shoulders above anything operated by most of the rest of the world, Russia and China included. The F-22 and the F-35 are true 5th generation fighter jets, while the SU-57 and the J-20 are at best 4.5 generation platforms.

Most missions only require a few missiles and a gun. The F-35 has capacity for 4 missiles and 2 JDAMs outside. Plenty of capacity.

Что сложного управлять барановозом?.
Praticamente esses aviões tem um controle de estabilidade automático e uma porrada de sensores. O kra ate chegar num desses ja pilotou muitos outros mais simples, então quando chega nesse o kra tem a mesma sensação de alguem que tava de bike, passou pra biz, pegou uma titan, depois uma hornet e finalmente uma bmw ou qualquer outra moto de ponta, a pilotagem é um processo gradativo, ninguém é pego de surpresa.
Com certeza, olha o avião desfilando e dando giro no ar

かなり前に、このF-35Bは、短距離離陸、垂直着陸機であって、垂直離着陸機ではないと力説していた人に疑問を持っていたが、正しくは垂直離着陸できる機体だが、専ら(空母)の運用は短距離離陸、垂直着陸運用機という事ですね。
今理解した。
垂直離着陸くそ燃費悪いので離陸時は短距離離陸みたいですね
兵装や燃料を満載すると垂直離陸は不可能なのです。VTOLのハリアーでさえ不可能です。F-35BはSTOVLといって短距離離陸、垂直着陸の運用を最初から前提に開発された機体です。因みに艦載機の通常発艦するFA-18や過去のF-14でもフル兵装&燃料満載だとカタパルトがあっても発艦不可能なので空中給油を受けて任務に就きます。艦載機のF-35Cも同じです。航空母艦と空中給油機はセットなのです。

Actually no its STOVL, as if it could take off with full armament it would have to re-fuel immediately, that is why in the video the vertical take off is actually EMPTY!!!.. This plane will not deploy VTOL to combat, it would be more of a short take off and maybe vertical landing and remember ONLY the B model does this and it loses other capabilities..
